I'm usually not one to write Yelp reviews but after attending the Pinoy Fiesta Buffet at SAW last night (7/25), I had to share my experience. It was honestly one of the best Filipino dining experience I've ever had!! It was really amazing to dee a Filipino event that features authentic dishes along with a live music (2nd Verse Band.) Hosting this event at a winery in the heart of LA made it even more special! It was really nice to see Filipino culture represented and celebrated in such a beautiful setting. The food was absolutely spectacular!!! Huge shoutout to Chef Jo, Chef Peter and Chef Alem for putting together an amazing menu filled with dishes you don't typically find at most Filipino restaurants like the Picanha with Salpicao sauce, Pata Tim, and Cebuchon. You could tell that every dish that was served was thoughtfully prepared and not like it was just made to fill the buffet. There was also a complimentary wine which was a nice addition to the experience. Staff and service were also great. They were friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout the entire event. Their hospitality made the experience more enjoyable :) I truly hope they continue hosting more Filipino events like this and if they do I highly recommend keeping an eye on their IG for future announcements or other events you might be interested in. We came for wine tasking, and end leaving with full of knowledge of wine. Breanne was such an amazing person to talk with. She went above and beyond. She taught us more than just history about wine, but also the chemistry about, chemical engineering behind the wine process. She was wonderful! We had a great experience here! The wine was great, but honestly, the food was the standout. I had the burger, my husband had the steak with mushrooms and mashed potatoes, and both were incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly. We finished with the tiramisu, which was moist, rich, and absolutely delicious. Everything was well-seasoned, generously portioned, and left us completely satisfied. The service was friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout. There was live saxophone music that created such a great atmosphere, and even though the winery was busy, it never felt overcrowded or chaotic. Reunited and it feels so good! After way too long, Miss Nicole and I finally made it out of the group chat and into the gorgeous San Antonio Winery right here in LA~ We spent the afternoon catching up over the most delicious pasta, fresh bread, sipping our way through some incredible wine flights, taking way too many photos, and exploring every corner of the winery. Honestly, my heart (and my stomach) is so full~~~ Service was also spectacular and attentive. We got to taste some refreshing wines, spritzed & frozen blended wine samples ~ They also host fun events like Goat Yoga, Pilates & Prosecco, Soulful Brunch & Dueling Pianos as well as Paint & Sip. Came here for the first time with a friend to see the dueling pianos! The show itself was fun and everyone in the dining hall appeared to be having a blast singing and, at times, dancing along. As a newbie, I just followed what the folks in front of me were doing. You line up cafeteria style to place your order. I was overwhelmed by the broad menu. The portions are huge! My friend and I decided to split a few dishes and dessert because we did not want to take any leftovers home. You pay at the register and staff carry your tray and number to your table. Food is delivered to your table as you enjoy the entertainment. Staff were attentive to larger parties. We were a party of 2 on the outskirts of the dining room and I had to walk to wait staff to request clean forks for our dessert. They didn't clear our plates until the event was nearly over and we had to stack them up to make space. I mention this because I observed larger tables being bussed throughout the evening. After years of hearing about this place, I've finally went and can I say WOW?!? This place is so nice, nothing I expected! Service was amazing and we got to meet the owner, he was so kind and welcoming! Because it was my first time here, looking for the location at first was tricky ( I thought it was the first building on Lamar Street, but it's not). Just follow the directions to the end and the restaurant will be on your right side. I love how they have displays of the food on how it looks and plated, so you can see how it looks and you can order it. It's like almost cafeteria style (But better quality) on picking the plate, there is also menu of other food that was not displayed. This place it's so fun and well lit here. So while I haven't partaken in any of their tastings or attended any of their events, I do come regularly to buy bottles of their wine. Unlike typical restaurants, I have to stand in line, order food pay for it and the server would bring the food out. This time I ordered steak and eggs. I have my meat to cook medium but it was more like medium well. Nothing spectacular about their food but they have live music and cozy indoor so it's good for date or hang out. Second chances!!! Got a chance to come back and experience the Wine tasting set up by McKenzie, she was such an amazing sport handling all my previous experiences concerns. We had our wine tasting out on the patio with a guitarist playing great music. The vibes were amazing the air had a good breeze it was perfect. Russell was our host and boi oh boi, I can't put together the best words to describe this guy. Very professional and knowledgeable guy. We actually learned a lot about wine and some history lessons minus the quizzes. He took care of us and provided the type of customer service you hope for. He was also very humorous so laughter and wine was definitely a good mix. The charcuterie board was delicious and fresh. He also gifted us a bottle of wine. Not sure if I should have mentioned that. We are already planning to come back for another experience with Russell. The experience was so great we decided to stay after the wine tasting to dine there. We had the shrimp scampi and a pizza. Went here to eat after visiting the Autry. Had probably the best tuna melt I have ever had! Waiters were attentive and the whole place felt very cozy. The tuna melt stayed crispy the whole time with the tuna itself being warm. Fries were good as well! read more

I always drive by the ads on the fwy for this place but it wasn't until recently that I actually went. I was weary of the reviews but I always have to check out things for myself before making any statement. I figured it was kind of a tourist trap if they had ads but I came in with an open mind and was pleasantly surprised. It's tucked away in an industrial area and when you enter you're transported into a quaint winery. It's not quite like Napa obviously but it's reminiscent of a place you would find in wine country in Temecula. First off, I'm mainly here to dine with my dog and hang out with my friends who do drink. I personally don't drink but I do love to learn about historical places. I had no idea that the famous Stella Rosa wines are bottled here! That's pretty neat! My friends got a bunch of wines here for cheap but other collections they said were cheaper at Costco lol What we ordered: Faroe Island Salmon (A+) - Fresh catch of the day MP $36 excellent texture, clean, and moist. The star of the 3 we ordered. Wagyu steak & eggs (A) - Solid dish but be mindful it's not Japanese wagyu although it would be awesome if it was Crème Brûlée French Toast (A) - Flavorful and not too sweet just the perfect amount of fruits and syrup The Bistro was lovely. We had a lovely corner table with our dog and a great overall view of the entire restaurant. Our waiter was informative and attentive. Service is on the slower side but that's the vibe relaxed and chill. We also went Sunday afternoon so there were alot of brunchers. We didn't make a reservation since we weren't sure what to expect upon arrival but I highly suggest doing one but you will be charged if you don't show so keep that in mind. Lots of corporate and get-togethers are held here. I did see heat lamps so if it's cold they are available. Luckily we were graced with the best weather you can ask for in CA! Would definitely come here again with my pup but only well-behaved dogs obviously are allowed. Wish they had a pet menu that would be awesome. Bingo Night We had a great time. The experience was very fun. All the servers were very accommodating and helpful. They started on the dot! So punctual. Food was in generous portions. Tasty. Not too pricey. Ample parking. Bingo Host was super fun! The reason it's 3 starts because I think the bingo tickets for $50 plus taxes came out to $60 plus with only 1 drink and 10 bingo cards. 10 bingo cards was great. But for 1 drink only is not worth it. I hope they can add an appetizer with the drink and bingo cards. That would be great. read more

First time here, and I absolutely loved it--can't believe it took me this long to visit! The food was excellent, the wine was spot on, and the atmosphere was fantastic. What truly set the experience apart, though, was the staff. Our waitress, Belle, was an absolute sweetheart--courteous, attentive, and incredibly helpful. Ana, who assisted us at the coffee bar, went above and beyond. She personally walked us across the winery to show us where to find dessert and even had our cappuccinos ready and waiting when we returned--perfectly made. Irene, the hostess, was equally outstanding. She gave us a warm welcome, showed us around, and made sure we knew where everything was, offering help at every turn. We celebrated my aunt's 65th birthday at San Antonio Winery with a group of about 25 people. Although they couldn't accommodate all of us at one table, we made it work. I'm not sure why, since there were a couple of removable tables that could have been rearranged, but needless to say, we still had a great time. I'm not sure the customers seated between our group enjoyed it as much--we were lively and entertaining one another around and in between them--but we had a wonderful time. The food, as always, was amazing. If you've followed me, you know I've reviewed this location before. My aunt and I actually did a test run before booking the reservation, and once again, the dishes did not disappoint. Every guest raved about their meal. Our table had a variety of dishes--different kinds of pizza, spaghetti, the seafood omelet (one of my favorites), calamari, and assorted salads. Not a single complaint! The prices were reasonable too. Before brunch, our group participated in a wine tasting, which was a highlight. The host was incredibly knowledgeable, shared lots of great information, and made the experience fun and educational. Many of us ended up purchasing several bottles afterward. If you're planning a small gathering or simply want to enjoy a relaxing lunch with great food, good wine, and live music, I highly recommend San Antonio Winery. read more

The gift shop is adorable, guide you to the restaurant that they have in the back. It looks like a wine barrel from inside, which is really cool. The food comes out fast. If you're visiting Paso Robles, definitely stop here if you can... Has a cute gift shop with lots of great things including gourmet food items. Also the restaurant has a great food menu, (I loved the Chicken Marsala pasta dish I ordered, super yummy). Also service was great and loved the wine tasting too. It's always a great experience here at San Antonio Winery! I know most people would come here for their wine (Stella Rosa, anyone?), but I am always here for their $45 Prime Rib. It is SO GOOD! (Weekends only, limited availability). I've had their pastas (4/5), soup (3/5), dessert (3/5), wine (4/5), been on the tour (4/5), but their Prime Rib is ALWAYS a 5/5. Their service matches their Prime Rib (5/5) and their entire Staff are always AMAZING! Purely based off the food and parking situation. Sandwich was great! Pastrami was tender and juicy. Bread was crunchy but didn't destroy the roof of your mouth. Coleslaw was actually very well dressed and tasty. Didn't expect that. Calamari was a bit more hit or miss. The smaller bits were nicely tender but the larger rings were a tad rubbery. Parking gets slammed and there's no Metro in the area. The winery is off the main streets quite a bit. Decent spot for a lunch or brunch. read more

It's a small getaway that will leave you happy because of the wine and the wonderful customer service. They have good hearty food as well. I have been here several times and every time the service is awesome. This is the home of Stella Rosa, and after taking the tour the first time, I found out how Stella Rosa started. You don't have to take a full tour as they do have counter tastings which will educate you about the selections they do have. Please know San Antonio is a legit winery with high quality selections. DO NOT BELIEVE THE REVIEWS - THIS PLACE SUCKS and SERVICE SUCKED HERE TOO. OVER PRICED CAFETERIA FOOD. Prices are actually $$$ I really feel like I got ripped off -- and unfortunately, this experience was one I wish I could forget. We chose San Antonio Winery to celebrate a special occasion. I had recently closed several commercial real estate deals and wanted to treat my family to what we believed would be a nice, memorable dinner. With nearly five-star reviews, our expectations were high. The reality was the complete opposite. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt disorganized and unwelcoming. Parking was fine, but the hostess at the front was unprofessional, short, and unhelpful. She did not explain how dining works here and simply redirected us inside without any guidance, almost as if she didn't want to deal with us. Inside, we were directed to another staff member (Jennifer, wearing a burgundy top), who again failed to explain anything -- not the layout, not the dining style, not what to expect. Only later did we discover the restaurant operates more like a cafeteria than a sit-down dining experience. When we finally made our way to the back, we were told they had already run out of prime rib -- the very reason we came. That alone was incredibly disappointing. On top of that, we learned we had to order at a counter, pre-tip before receiving any service, carry our own trays, and seat ourselves. This felt completely inappropriate for a restaurant charging premium prices. What made this experience even worse was how poorly the staff worked together as a team. I was completely clueless about the entire dining process, and no one gave clear instructions on where to go, where to order, or how anything worked. Too many people were involved, yet no one took ownership of helping guests. When I first approached the front booth to ask for a table for nine, the woman there was rude and dismissive. She questioned me repeatedly, asking if my entire party was present and demanding to know exactly where they were, as if she didn't trust me. My wife was getting out of the car and the rest of the group was right behind us. It felt unnecessary and uncomfortable, especially considering we were clearly there to spend a significant amount of money. When I asked to sit inside, she simply told me there were separate restaurants inside and offered no further explanation. She did not explain where to go, who to speak to, or what the process was. I later encountered another staff member, Jennifer, who also gave minimal direction and simply told us to go to the back of the gift shop without explaining anything. Once we finally reached the back, the ordering experience was cold and confusing. The woman who took our order provided no explanation of what was included. Salads were handed to us without any clarification that they were complimentary. They were served on small saucer plates, not bowls, with barely any lettuce. It felt careless and rushed. We were then told we would need to carry our own trays and handle everything ourselves. For a restaurant charging these prices, this level of service is unacceptable. While the food itself wasn't terrible, it felt like cafeteria food -- something you could easily find elsewhere for much less money. My sister and I love coming here once in a while, but last night 5/22/26 it was really lacking. The dining area was lovely as always. We ordered the chicken of the day which was chicken with a mushroom sauce, penne pasta with a vodka sauce, sautéed veggies, and a side salad but no bread which was disappointing. The service lacked. They took us to the table, brought food, then water after. No one came to ask us how we are doing or offered a refill on my drink. Before I left I ordered a side of thr pasta that came with my dinner and a Blueberry Bread Pudding. How come when I ordered the side pasta it came with bread but our dinner didn't? Everett helped me several times get to where I needed to go and Alex gave such a thorough and insightful tour answering all my questions. So much fun and reasonably priced. I have loved San Antonio winery for many years and once I got engaged, I knew I wanted to have my bridal shower here. And it was definitely the right decision! My shower was held in the Heritage Cellar on 8/3/25 for about 30 people. The cellar was the perfect size. The room comes with tables, chairs, linens and napkins. I chose the plated lunch option for my party and my guests were served either lasagna or chicken marsala. A salad and dinner rolls were included too. Everyone kept telling me how good the food was! And a great portion. Wine was not included in the overall price, but as an add on option. I had about 13 bottles for my party and the staff set them up very nicely. I communicated with Sherie to coordinate my event, and communication was easy and straightforward. Also the wait staff who worked during my event were phenomenal and very attentive. You wait in line, get a tray, choose items, & pay at the cashier. - 20% tip mandatory for groups of 6 despite the fact that service at the table is minimal or non existent. - this place is loud Food: French toast (expensive but delicious) Chicken chilaquiles with eggs over medium took forever to arrive and when they arrived they were missing the chicken and the eggs were over easy not over medium as requested. The waiter kept insisting that the order placed was correct until we found the recipe that confirmed it was requested with Chicken and over medium eggs. The waiter returned with the chicken but you could tell that they didn't re-do the order because the eggs were the same (over easy instead of over medium). Trying to flag someone down for water, a glass, a napkin etc is a challenge. This place is loud and chaotic and busy. It's my second time here and only came because they have lots of big tables to accommodate big groups but not sure it's worth it. We brought her brother visiting from Chicago he loved the place, friendly staff, food, & wine This is the place my mom loves to sit down for a meal with her 7 daughters & 1 son spouses & 5 generation of grandchildren. She doesn't have to cook the meal or worry about the kitchen. She enjoys 1 glass of red wine and everyone stops at her table to chat.
