Brand new apartment building south of the river…read more 1. Location - I wanted to move near water & not be in a crazy busy area. I love that it's near Tennis courts, a Publix & not on a busy road. It's nice not tons of cars are going to be around unless they have to absolutely be around there. I also wanted to live near water, but I also did not find anything I liked near the beach...so being by the river is nice. Plus I love seeing the boats pass by~ very soothing 2. The building & unit - elegant & creative. A beautiful bundle. This building has specific floor layouts for units I could not find elsewhere like built-in closet organizers for walk in closet, tub + shower + double sinks all in one unit- this was quite rare to find. *high ceilings only in select units* ~ amenities are nice; pool, sauna, mini movie theater, a gym. I also love that the garage has high ceilings~ some garages feel very cramped- this one does not, thankfully 3. Grateful for life & to see how the city has been growing. It's inspiring to see how new buildings have been under construction & then seeing it all come to fruition.

The agent almost scoffed at me stating "oh no, we don't do that" and I stated that I did see it online to which she responded "well let me see that" almost in disbelief. When I showed the agent what THEY were advertising on their DIRECT website (mind you not Zillow, Apartments.com, etc) she didn't even entertain the idea of honoring it. This just left a sour taste in my mouth for the building, because what kind of company doesn't honor their direct advertising?? Photo attached for reference. Honor what you advertise, it's very simple. In response to The Registry Las Olas's response to this review: please note that the leasing agent surely did not "demonstrate" that this special was "no longer visible". What actually happened was that I "demonstrated" a current Google search showing that the special was in fact still showing on the website (mind you, on my new iPhone 15, purchased 1 week prior to this visit). Upon doing that, the leasing agent took a picture of my phone, from her phone, saying "that shouldn't be there, and I need to get management to take that down". Please note that my boyfriend was also in office for reference on this matter. Suggesting to "clear my browser cache" is a very lame response/excuse, given to push off the fact that they are advertising incorrectly. Please see newly attached screenshot as to the last time that this "special" was visible on their website- 1/8/24 at 4:44pm (when screenshot was taken, as I was in office with this agent). Additionally note that this was able to be pulled up on a different browser (on my boyfriend's iPhone) as well. While I appreciate a response, please don't accuse me of misinforming on this situation. Moving down from Philadelphia and was looking at properties in the Flagler Village area - I toured Pearl Apartments with Laurie- who by the way is an amazing person, great personality, very fun and energetic, made the tour entertaining. She also knows how to point out the finer details in the rooms which makes you really appreciate how much thought has been placed into the design. For example, the bathrooms here are spa-like, with both a tub and shower behind a glass door, you have to see it (we started calling them "shubs"). There are also double vanities in some of the 1 bdrms. There was not a single question she couldn't answer. She also was a wealth of knowledge about the area, knew where all the new construction was going to occur and had some knowledge about future retail and restaurant space. She listened to what we wanted from a unit and was honest about which units would work and which ones we probably would not end up liking. Having a tour guide like that makes such a difference. Speaking of which, Pearl Apartments by far has the most high end, tasteful fixtures and furniture I've seen in the common spaces. The gym is flooded with sunlight from all the windows and there are two Pelaton bikes and all the equipment you could want. The pool area feels like an oasis. There is this huge hanging sculpture in the lounge area and the way things light up as you enter is truly amazing. We also toured some other apartments in the area - Whitney, Solomar, Edge - none of them compare to this. Now- I should state that in the end we decided to settle in Hollywood (we decided we really wanted more of the beach vibe). My biggest disappointment was there was nothing like Pearl there - if we had decided to stay in FLL, I definitely would have chosen Pearl.

Definitely not sanitized regularly--if at all. Package handling is a mess, poor concierge's.. spending so much time on finding packages for us..... Security is also questionable. The people sitting in the garage in the mornings are often sleeping when I drive by. The garage gate has only been closed for two days total since I moved in. The garage doesn't seem safe. For the amount we're paying in rent, this is unacceptable. It genuinely feels like nobody cares. Honestly, these apartments shouldn't cost more than half of the price we pay with management like this. Would not recommend. Cons: very bad pest problem; packages - get stolen all the time (if you decide to move here, get your packages delivered to Whole Foods); gym - a rate was found in the gym, gym door was consistenly left unlock and this is the door that connects to the main street; mold in ace unit and when the non-english speaking maintenance rep came to fix, he had to use translate to converse with me; doors into the buildings are consistently unloocked allowing homeless people access (homeless guy was caught sleeping in the building, another resident had a stranger open her door); check the convenience store across the street as guys clearly sell drugs here; parking is violent here - they have a tow company that is very flagrant; bad billing - all of us experienced nearly a doubling of water bill in June, the property outsourced many services upon which they added fees to monthly bill without our consent; my roughly $2,600/month unit would total to about $3,000 each month because of their additional fees and bad billing. All of this and more happened within our first 4 months of living here and needless to say that me and my wife decided to pay our lease break fee to move out early.

After the condo purchase, the agent engaged in conduct outside of the real estate transaction that resulted in a financial loss for me. While the activity itself was not part of my condo closing, my trust in him was based entirely on his role as a Compass agent and the legitimacy that the brand conveys. When I reported this to Compass, their response was extremely disappointing. The property itself is in excellent condition and we really enjoyed the 2 br room we stayed in. The hallways are long, clean, and very well kept up. They have the convenience of a trash chute on every floor and also are pet friendly. The amenities inside the apartment and community are top notch. The vinyl plank wood flooring was beautiful and matched very well with the quartz countertops throughout the apartment. Great finishing touches on all the cabinetry and plumbing as well. The shower was a on point! The pool was gorgeous and inviting. Very spacious with lots of rooms for family or just friends hanging out. They even have a really cool waterfall feature that was fun to swim under and around. If I were moving to this area, I think this apartment would be on the top of my list. Coming from Charlotte it was nice to see such a warm and inviting community. It felt like home!

This is the worst management company that I've dealt with in 15 years of apartment living. Brand…read morenew building, first person to live in my unit. Washer didn't work, no one tested it before I moved in. Hot water wasn't connected to the dishwasher, again no one checked that. Ice maker wasn't functional either and they blamed me for claiming I didn't turn it on. The cheap flooring is already coming up in the kitchen. The base board on the kitchen cabinets was never screwed in, already falling off. Everything is cheaply made and quickly put together without ever testing it out. I got into a car accident and parked my rental car on the first floor for maybe two hours. They towed it without calling anyone or checking the cameras, the lady said "I don't have time for that." I will be moving out ASAP.
