I have been seeing Dr Essandoh for many years for my chronic back pain and other joint issues. I love that the quality of care is consistent and I feel listened to. I am able to live my life more fully with the help of cortisone injections, ablations, and other therapies. The office staff is always helpful and courteous. read more

First visit furnished list of all medications. Emailed at their request because a hand written list of all medical doctors and procedures wasn't acceptable. Listed all my surgeries and showed Dr. Essandoh scars from surgeries and explained at 23 l was hit on my left side by a lumbertruck while on my motorcycle. I was told I'd never walk again or use my left arm. I also folded my left arch and severly damaged my ankle, left wrist and woke up weeks later in recovery ward with a fist sized ball of gause under my right kneecap. Second visit after Psychological evaluation according to Ohio law he walked in and told me they never received my medical records from my doctors or orthopedic surgeons. Called them when l got home and was informed they were never requested by the clinic. This was after approximately over a month. Then Dr. Essandoh told me Valium showed up in my urine sample which astonished me as I've never taken a valium unless it was administered by IV before different surgeries. This set me off as there was no way it could have come up. Then it was determined it was from a prescribed pain med l ate after a 12 hour straight drive that left me in intense pain, but it was not valium. Then the BIG lie. He told me the psychologist told him l was buying drugs off the street. Now I'm livid after two lies. I demanded to know if the conversation was recorded. He left for a long time and informed me the it was from a leftover prescription after l spent six weeks in a physical rehabilitation clinic after a third knee replacement soon after a second temporary replacement due to first one being infected. I had my sister take pictures of the prescriptions, including one for help with severe insomnia. Instead of looking at them he didn't even look at the pictures insisting l forewarded them to his Email which l figured out how to do after one of the nurses couldn't figure it out. I will say the two nurses were trying to be understanding and knew l was very disturbed by the insinuations and proven outright lies by Dr. Essandoh. He kept trying to push injections which I've previously tried with no results. Then he made me write a letter stating l would dispose of my prescribed prescriptions including one from my primary care doctor to do with severe insomnia. I told them l previously ended up in the Emergency Room in Stone County, Arkansas due to not sleeping three nights and terrified l would be in grave danger having to drive close to 700 miles home starting out on 100 miles of narrow curvy mountain roads, they didn't seem to care and suggested l talked about it with my primary care doctor on my appointment on Monday, this was on my appointment at Oracle Pain Clinic Friday. I told them my doctor has tried numerous prescriptions and the one l currently was using on an as needed basis was the only one that showed any positive results. He didn't care and seemed to disreguard any of my previous prescriptions by doctors who actually had enough concern to attain my medical records from my doctors, specialists, and surgeons to familiarize themselves with my present condition at 71 years old. I was told he called in a prescription for arthritis but was informed by the pharmacy it was already expired the same day it was called in. Guess he's not even competent to call in a prescription or take any interest in actually addressing my concerns other than forcing me to disprove his fabricated accusations which were proven to be false. I hope l can actually find a competent doctor who will attain my medical records as to helping me deal with severe pain issues instead of fueling my well deserved distrust of Dr. Essandoh and his demeanor tword someone reaching out with accute pain issues. read more

We met with Alec Bisaha. His bio says that he is compassionate toward people who deal with pain and how pain negatively effects ones life. Not true. This morning, my fiancée who deals with horrible-life altering pain was refused treatment because we questioned the method in which they determine treatment. Thanks to the State of Ohio who pretends they care, he cannot get proper treatment without being labeled a addict which is so far from the truth. A few days after my very first back injection, I had severe pain, loss of motor skills, dizziness and other problems. The doctor insisted that I was crazy tried to have me committed to a psych ward. Reality: I had a mini-stroke; which the entire staff and doctor were oblivious to. Not only that; but Dr. Shah's only concern was that "this isnt my fault. You must be a drug addict." read more

Best word? HORRIBLE I arrived was early for 1:15 appointment, but wasn't seen until 2:30. He barely spoke English. I was sent there because new Ohio laws required my primary care doc to send patients to "pain specialists" before they can prescribe more Vicodin (NOT Oxy or stronger, just Vicodin) I have been receiving this for severe, inoperable back injury from a car accident (and it only reduces pain, but does help) I also have PTSD from 2 years in Vietnam and take Ativan to help the anxiety that started when I came home (and it really does help) when this "doctor" asked why I took it, he visible scoffed at my PTSD and said I could not take Vicodin and Ativan at the same time (HUH?) and then gave me the name of a phycologist to go to (his brother, maybe?). It's been 50 years since Vietnam and I've had plenty of counselling and amd doing pretty well - severe anxiety is just part of my make-up (not that he gave a damn. Staff was rude both in person and on the phone. When I asked the doctor, "So, I have the choice of living with sever pain or severe anxiety?" - he smirked and said "yes" I WILL NOT BE BACK. read more

You move in young, healthy and spry in your 60s and basically have the time of your life. As you get older, additional care and support is there when you need it. The new expansion they're doing, while obviously causing a bit of construction noise/mess now, is going to be AMAZING once it's complete. The Health Center (nursing home) side is wonderful too, once the time comes for that level of care. The people are great - both residents and staff. I love this place and I'm so glad I get to work with the team and residents as part of my day job!

I was first introduced to Oracle Pain Clinic through a referral from my primary care doctor. I have severe spinal stenosis, Degenerative disc disease, and in need of Bilateral knee replacements. My visiting Oracle has been the greatest step toward continued health being able to work and have daily full range of motion. The entire staff has always been very accommodating. I have been a patient of Dr Essandoh at Oracle Pain Clinic for 8 years. I've had nothing but pleasurable experiences with the Dr and his staff. I have had injections done in a few different areas of my body with some having good results and some not so good. The procedures were explained very thoroughly and any/or all questions answered which helped me make my decision to get them. I never felt pressured. I also like that Dr Essandoh will take the time to listen and address any problems I'm having at the time. I would recommend Dr Essandoh to anyone I know looking for a new pain management Dr. It takes alot for me to trust a new Dr but Dr Essandoh made that very easy for me. I have been going to the Oracle pain clinic for almost three years now since my last back surgery in January 2017. I have meet with the Doctor every month since April of 2017, I have had to wait a few time for my appointment to start. But I have also been the reason others have had to wait as the Doctor has made time to give me a spinal injection when I did not have an appointment. So to anyone who had to wait longer that day please take my apology. Dr. Essandoh has always been very willing to try different things to try and lessen my pain even sending me to other specialists to see if they could help. I have been a patient there for several years due to severe back pain, a shoulder that has been reconstructed and my right hip (getting replacement next week). I have been a patient of Dr Essandoh for 10 years now and after 7 spine surgeries, 1 bad shoulder & probably overdue for more back surgery, Dr Essandoh keeps me upright and going with his knowledge and care! I have been going to this business and Dr. Esandoh since 2018. Before then I had a doctor in Westerville that was constantly manipulating and testing boundaries, never understanding the patient. I was first introduced to Dr. Esandoh when he did surgery on my daughter in law. He was outstanding. After that I moved my care to his office. He is an incredible doctor and an amazing person. I have been going to Dr. Essandoh for over 5 years following an accident. He is wiling to listen to you and together, plan a successful pain management agenda. He has done cortisone injections, epidurals, bilateral ablation, and Platelet Rich Plasma Injections; all giving me increasing relief from back pain. I have been a longtime patient. The staff are friendly and helpful. The medical providers are terrific! They listen to you, explain your condition, and offer reasonable treatment options. I have never felt like my appointment was rushed. I have received medication, spine injections, nerve ablations, etc. Treatment is professional and they make you as comfortable as they can. The wait time from arrival to seeing a medical provider is usually 30 minutes or less. read more
