You order at the counter, and if you're like me and don't love Ipad do it yourself ordering, there is a helpful person (usually Christina) close by to answer your questions and take your order for you, with the benefit of her expertise and insight. We took the path less traveled on our first visit, and ordered a sandwich (porchetta), salad (pesto burrata), and comfort dish (lasagna). Each dish was beautifully constructed with top shelf ingredients, generous portions, and imaginative composition, delicious and thoroughly enjoyable. The pasta dishes on surrounding tables looked amazing, especially a teen boy's carbonara with linguine at the table next to us. We will be back often to explore other options, including pasta entrees, fried risotto croquettes, and the Mediterranean salad. The vibe inside is nice and casual, populated mostly by young neighborhood families with well behaved progeny. When the weather is nice, there is ample covered outside seating too. Once you get your food, it's up to you to take charge to get anything more that you want-need, like water, additional food/drinks, napkins, etc. You may get frustrated if you expect someone to come by and service you in this manner, as it is contrary to the basic mechanics of this establishment. Bottom line, this is high quality Italian food for very reasonable prices, in a casual environment, all attributes that I look for in places that I choose to become a regular customer.
