We tried Olivella's last night based on several online video reviews. Videos claimed best pizza in DFW and incredible meatballs. We were seated on their patio which was nice excepted for the wind that leaked in around the seasonal windows. Waiter was prompt to greet us and bring our drinks. We started with a caprese salad. The basil pesto balsamic sauce was very flavorful. We ordered a roman style (very thin crust) pizza half Margherita half druken pig. The Margherita could have been just a cheese pizza. It lacked the distinctive basil flavor you expect. The only part of the drunken pig that had flavor was the sausage. Not in my top 10 pizzas in the DFW area. We also got the meatball panni needs a better bread that can stand up to moisture. While the meatballs were very good the sandwich became soggy quickly. Save the meatballs for spaghetti.

loved how quiet the restaurant was, service was fast and our server was nice and sweet. the caesar salad was dressed well and very good. the ravioli was good, bigger than anticipated but paired so well with the salad. did not enjoy the breadsticks on the side. perfect place to grab a quiet drink or food at

Absolutely phenomenal!!! I found this place from TikTok and it didn't disappoint. Everything was fresh and made to perfection. We got 2 appetizers (definitely try the cheese dip), the lasagna had so much flavor, wasn't dry and seasoned well. Now to the desserts (yes plural, don't judge me), tiramisu and cannolis nailed my sweet tooth. Absolutely amazing place and I will definitely return. I know everything in Dallas is far but this place was close to me but I'd still drive the normal Dallas 45 minute drive.

    Don't forget the Mimosas.

Brunch is great and not crazy busy. Plus, it's the full menu. No matter what you have, leave room for the dessert pizza. Ingredient Challenge: Olivella's Salad is walnuts, pears, Gorgonzola, greens, balsamic vinaigrette. Dessert pizza is walnuts, pears, marshmallows, Nutella. Nutella and marshmallows win.

Olivella's is by far the best pizza I have had in Dallas! Their dough is perfect and ingredients are fresh. Service was great and helpful. We had the Margherita and the Della Carne. Mouthwatering!!! It's great for the whole family. The wine was also delicious but if I had to make a suggestion it would be to add cocktails to their menu. Definitely have to come try the pizza!

We went here for dinner on a Sunday night because I was in the mood for something light and not too heavy, and this restaurant has excellent thin crust pizza. The kid had the kid's spaghetti. It comes with a meatball (both for $7), but she is not a big meat eater so we asked to hold the meatball. She liked the spaghetti and the sauce, but the amount of sauce that came in a separate little dish was not enough and she likes a lot of sauce. I asked for more. I was surprised to see that I was charged $2 for more sauce. I understand that $2 is not a lot and maybe not even enough to mention, but it irritated me that there would be a charge for extra sauce when the price of the spaghetti and meatball was not adjusted when we did not get the meatball. It seems they wanted it both ways: charge us more for what really was a small amount of extra sauce, maybe a 1/3 of a cup, and then not reduce the bill when the costliest item, the meatball, was not included. It seems really cheap. The wife liked her Primavera salad. We shared the bruschetta and it was really good. The pizza was good but not quite as crisp as I remember. The three stars are for cheapness, the incredibly loud atmosphere, to the point where it was just unpleasant to be inside, and the absence of any carbonated drinks because their machine was broken (?).

5 stars based on food and service…read more I've been here twice and the food is excellent. I had a pasta dish when I came a year ago and it was as good as just about any I've had, including in Italy. This latest visit, I had the New York strip and it was excellent. I am usually unimpressed with the steaks served at restaurants, but this was of a sufficiently high quality that I throughly enjoyed it. And while it was steak, the kitchen's skill was shown through the excellent sauce that accompanied it. The service was attentive, including the host staff who graciously moved us outside. I was quite pleased on that front. Ambiance/decor is fine. But the inside of the restaurant is loud. Like, really loud. If you're hard of hearing like my mother, it will be impossible to talk inside. And if you don't like practically yelling to communicate, it will be uncomfortable. There were also issues with their AC this visit so it was stuffy inside. These (hopefully one-off) issues notwithstanding, I would definitely go back to Il Bracco and probably will in the future.

3.4/5 stars Upscale…read moreItalian restaraunt/bar il Bracco has a unique charm to it. Food: -House made focaccia; this focaccia deserves all the awards you can get for bread because it is so appetizing and savory. The seasoning paired with the whipped ricotta and roasted garlic are everything you could want and more and I had to hold back from ordering more before the main dish arrived -Spicy gemelli; I was looking forward to this dish since it's a highly popular item on their menu but ultimately I was a bit disappointed because the pasta was cooked too al dente for me so it was on the firmer side. As for seasoning, I consider this to be one of the most important details/components of pasta and for me it was lacking in this dish. There was not enough salt and I had to add chili flakes to give it some more flavor, I've honestly had better spicy vodka pastas elsewhere. This may be a dish that is overhyped in my opinion. -Italian Sundae; the dessert was actually quite exceptional here, featuring a sundae with homemade Blue Bell vanilla ice cream, extra virgin olive oil, chopped pistachios, fresh whipped cream, and sea salt, I highly recommend ordering this if you have a sweet tooth but like a bit of savory in your dessert Ambiance: -A sleek and elegant design to their interior with intimate booths, full service bar, and patio dining Service: -The service definitely could've been better. We were waiting to give our order for quite a while when we sat down and then the waiter hardly came by to check in and see if we needed anything. Overall, some good options if you order certain things, but others were a miss.

The whipped ricotta is an absolute must order and I'll definitely be getting that again. The calamari was good, but pretty standard fried calamari, although I loved the addition of the chilis. The portions are absolutely massive, so it's very easy to share dishes. I got the spaghetti and meatballs and they were an absolute delight. The meatballs were juicy, seasoned perfectly, and had a great texture. You can tell they're freshly made and use quality meat. Others at my table got the Chicken Parm Vodka and Tortellini Vodka, and both were rich, creamy, and delicious. The Chicken Parm portion was especially huge. The food here is a 10/10 and I'll be telling everyone to come here for some great Italian food. The restaurant itself is charming. The booths are huge and I loved all the photos and paintings on the walls. The Kingdom of Italy flag caught my eye too. Once the sun went down, the atmosphere really started to come alive. There are a few things I think Barsotti's could improve on. The bussers seemed a little underdressed for this type of restaurant, and some of their shirts were stained. We were also celebrating a birthday and specifically mentioned it in the reservation, so I was hoping for some acknowledgment. Our waiter was very nice and respectful, but I would have liked a little more interaction and explanation of the menu. Overall, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. I'll be coming back and would recommend Barsotti's to others.
