Me being a little on the slow comprehension side I really did not even know what I was actually asking for or maybe confused as this is all new to me. Well, the agent I was so lucky to speak with was the one who was able to help me out by not just her knowledge and professionalism but better yet by her kindness and her patience. I was able to understand the first steps to it by her simplifying it to me according to my capacity. Also, without making me feel any less with my cognition. Well Ms. Meka, I appreciate your help. We would be in a pleasant place if most people were as kind and as patient as you were with me. Once again, thank you! F.E.

I am grateful for the very simplified process to make an appointment. I love the efficiency of the entire team here, including the two absolutely stellar, sharp. approachable and very helpful armed security guards on the 5th floor. A special thank you to the very nice guard downstairs who held the main door open for me. I really appreciate Miss W's assistance with helping me get a physical & duplicate social security card plus explaining and printing out my Social Security Delayed Retirement Credits( DRC) as I am 68, have not availed of my Full Security benefits at my FRA - full retirement age and loving getting that 8 percent increase every year. I am going to keep working till 2027! The team here was efficient, to the point and solid The office was simple. The garage below has ample parking spots. Closed on Saturday and Sunday. Please check in with the guard in the lobby downstairs; he/she will guide you to the elevator to the fifth floor.

First, the library is beautiful. There are fountains, trees, and flowers. It's right next to the Orange Circle, so it's such a cute area. I will sometimes go for coffee in the Orange Circle after visiting the library. Friends Bookstore- This bookstore has the BEST selection of books. Outside is a bookcase of $0.25 books. Inside the book store, there are rows of books and they even have a kid/teen section. Books range from $0.50 to $1.50, with some special priced books (usually $3). Also, every month they have a special sticker color that indicates that those books as $0.50! I have gotten so many books here for myself, as gifts, and for work (I'm a school counselor and they have a section for mental health books in the kids section!). On Tuesdays, $1.50 books are half off for members. It's $12 a year for a membership but it includes $5 towards books and half off Tuesdays. TOTALLY worth it. I have gotten so many good and even newly released books here for $0.50-$3! It's really a steal! Everyone I have encountered working/volunteering there have been so kind and helpful. I genuinely LOVE coming here and browsing books and talking to the volunteers.

It's also a lot cleaner than most the city halls and they are very well staffed. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. The parking can be a little difficult however, if you come early in the morning mornings, there is plenty of street parking available. Overall, this is an amazing City Hall and they're more than willing to help you with any issue associated with them.

City of Orange does not care about its employees. Mainly…read moreit's part-time, that still provides support where full time can't. The city is in a financial downhill, lots of issues in the streets and parks. If you suggest or speak up on issues that will help (professionally of course) they shut you down. If you're part time, honoring the required hours they still treat you like CRAP. It's way too old school of a culture & mindset which is why the city is where it's at. Tony Gallegos is one main prime example from parks maintenance. Too old to lead or TO adapt to multiple environments and changes. He is closed to change and changing times/dynamics. He doesn't care about your plans outside of work and he wants your whole life around a measly 19 hours a week part time job. He has a BAD attitude and is so unprofessional. If you suggest meetings, rather than mitigate an easy fix problem, they just get rid of you. They even fired a coworker with no just cause. No warnings or coaching. It's mostly a money deal since he was due for a cola raise and annual raise. There was no performance based issues. We were there for two years. Serving our community proudly since we live in the area.
