Everyone will one day learn to appreciate how to use a piece of antiques to decorate your modern place you call home. I have been here twice already and there is so much to take in...you never know what will trigger your interest. When you learn to know antiques then you will be seeking to adventure into antique stores like this one. There is people that will be at your service within minutes or just go up to the counter and they will be there to assist you in a flash. I went looking for an old wooden window I saw in the internet unfortunately the seller wasn't clear I could not use but I still walked out with a piece I had forgotten I once owned. I believe its pewter little figure a Marine with our colors. I used to own the set of color guard once purchased I believe in a store in El Toro or Irvine unfortunately...after divorce I left everything behind. Folks use your imagination step out of the box and figure out how to repurpose a piece of antique. I am looking for a panel window wooden old beat up with enough space to suspend a few playboys from each panel for decoration in my soon to open old school barber studio. Swap meets get old the same Chinese crap they always sell....find The Orange Circle Antique Mall and make it a day...so much to see you should leave this store with something and then have coffee or something to eat in such great little old school tiny town. On the whole, this place would make for a good hunt. You know, sort of living your life like someone on an A&E or TLC show. That dream to find that sought after piece that the seller doesn't know is worth so much more.... In short. No. Let me be the one to crush that dream and take you back to the reality of things. Shit is shit and junk is junk. This stuff is someone's junk. While the 1950's tin sign with the racial slur on it may be a treasure to you, it's just junk in the end. Accept that and embrace that whatever you find here.. it's probably going to be a personal enjoyment piece. Chances are that it's also going to be pretty pricey. It seems like the folks who bring their items to sell just feel like it's a priceless treasure and sure do ask an arm and a leg for it. Prices at this one are fairly higher than a few of the antique mall spots around here. Not sure why since it's the same set up of basement floor square foot room by square foot room of someone's garage vomit. I went in, browsed a bit and felt like I needed to get some alcohol to continue at looking at people's old crap. Went down to Haven and had a pint. Came back and the folks at the register said "Well, look who's back." which seemed like a snarky/sassy answer that I wouldn't mind. Hell, I did tell them "well yeah, I love eating up your a/c system." So I guess you should be aware that they're pretty sassy of old people and what not. I guess it's a given that you're going to get conversed as you go in or out. Not always a bad thing, but if you couldn't find any crap and are walking out, it does seem a bit awkward. read more

There are a lot of booths, however you really need to look hard for items that fall into normal price ranges. Seems most items were priced higher than same items in other malls in this area. Maybe the rent is higher at this mall... The individuals working the day we visited were not friendly and seemed like one woman followed us around and never once offered to take the item to the front until we were ready to checkout. It was definitely fun to walk around and look at all the vintage and antique stuff they have for sale. It is a bit of a maze and did bring out the claustrophobic in me when I was downstairs. I saw a ton if stuff that I liked a lot, but honestly, the prices were freakishly high. I some green depression era thumbprint glasses that I picked up 6 of last week at Goodwill and left behind 6... I think the 6 I left behind found their way into a glass case! I paid $1 per glass, these were marked up to $15 each. Eww. read more

I completely forgot about how many vendors are here and how overwhelmed I get when I am surrounded by all that is vintage. Overall there were way too many things that I fell "in love" with and this tends to happen when I go out shopping in general but when I am surrounded by 1960's EVERYTHING including GO-GO boots, I AM DONE FOR!!! DONE. I noticed this place has a little bit pricier vendors and one vendor in particular that tried to pass off a 60's hair dryer plastic container sans hair dryer as luggage and sell it for $20. That stuff bums me out but there were some great vendors with A LOT of stuff that was right up my alley and were even on sale too. This place is amazing! My husband took me here for the first time to get my engagement ring sized, he purchased it at the Rambling Rose jewelry store in the mall. You can spend hours here. They have everything you can think of. On days when we have nothing to do, we get a drink, go and walk around. Definitely recommend checking it out! read more

If "variety is the spice of life", then the Orange Circle Antique Mall is a winner. This place has something for everyone. I was searching the local antique stores for English bone china in order to fill the plate rack I bought at the Long Beach Flea Market months ago. With each store I went to, I wasn't happy with what I found until I landed at the Orange Circle Antique Mall. In the back right corner were more plates, cups and saucers one could ever want or need all stacked up waiting for me to pick. A spot light turned on in my minds eye shining onto the stall filled with dishware and a choir of angels started to sing. It took me about 20 minutes to find two plates I was happy with. Then, I roamed around the street level and the basement looking at all there was to see. What feature I really like about this place? Open Sundays. read more

OMG THANKS AGAIN AS ALWAYS. Picked up the most beautiful Mid Century black wire stool/bench for under $30. I was flip-flopping on whether to buy something similar from Urban Outfitters for $50, but I am so happy with my little antique find. Best of all, I also picked up a copy of Fleetwood Mac's most classic, most perfect, and BEST album, "Rumours," on vinyl in almost MINT condition for under $10. Ok, now I just have to go out and find a record player so that I can listen to it! There's some great booths that are newer now that sell beautiful vintage clothing, great 1970's knick-knacks, and more and more Mid Century Modern furniture! I'm in love! read more

10/10 experience in here. you could spend HOURS upon hours in there. they have so much to look at from vintage clothing to records to memorabilia to toys and the list goes on. not to mention it's two stories of goodies. every section of each little room has its own little theme or story going with it so it's fun to look at and look around. this store has so much to offer definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. i love coming here but today i left bitter because the old grumpy lady working at the register pissed me off. i come here often in search for records & vintage clothing so of course i am aware that antique shopping can be pricey! i found a cool fur jacket & it was $85 which i was fully aware of & i got to the register to check out & the lady looked at the tag & then looked me up & down & rudely said you are aware that one of the items is $85... & i said yeah... then she stared at me for a solid 15 seconds like i was causing her some kind of inconvenience... she proceeded to huff & puff so i said you know what never mind i'll just leave & she made some rude comments which i chose to ignore. she was rude to everyone who was in front of me as well so it makes me sad that people like her have to ruin one's experience... everyone else there is super nice & helpful but she belongs maybe working at a senior citizen center with people alike. read more

Love this store. It's my favorite in the area. Not only did my vintage art deco engagement ring come from Rambling Rose (inside this store), but I love many of the other booths. As many antique shoppers know, prices can be hit or miss. I can always find something that is worth the price to me in this store. I did notice that overall prices seemed higher when I was last here, but maybe that's because of Christmas shoppers. My awesome find of the day was a Pound Puppy new in the box. Yes, he was right out of the 80s. My nephew found my sister's old Pound Puppy and loves it. So my sister has been looking for one for her younger daughter. I picked this one up for her for only $25. Not bad considering seller on Ebay want $35-plus. And this one is still in the box! Who would've thought I would ever find this?! Overall Orange Circle's staff is great and the variety of vendors rocks. This is a great place to go if you are looking for old Disney memorabilia as well. The Disney stuff can be found at many booths. You may have to hunt for it, but the prices will be lower than going to stores with booths dedicated to Disney stuff. The solely Disney booths charge a very high premium because that's their main business. If you are in Orange, do not miss this store! read more

I LOVE this place! I can literally spend a few hours in here just looking at all of the cool stuff! They have items from the civil war era all the way to the 90's. The prices are SOMETIMES reasonable. You just have to keep an eye out for those great bargain finds. read more

What drew me in was the Rambling Rose Estate Jewelry. Great experience. What surprised me was the incredible used record collection! Not the *cheapest* place to get a used record, but there are PLENTY of quality albums for under $10. They have records that you can't find in most places (Sgt. Pepper's, Exile on Main St., Bob Dylan's debut album) for ok prices considering their rarity. If you are going record hunting, be prepared to spend a long time sifting through cardboard boxes, but there are gems. I walked out with "Rumours" by Fleetwood Mac, "Slowhand" by Eric Clapton, and "Who's Next" by The Who. Great place! read more

Wow this place has a lot of old shit. My boyfriend and I love to come here on Sundays, look around for old toys, stop by one of the eateries in Old Towne, and then go to the park and play with our new toys. He usually gets a yo-yo and a balsa wood toy airplane, and I'll get a friendship bracelet kit, but we will both get Dr. Peppers and a box of Lemonheads from Watson's. This place is way bigger than it looks. Its a 2 story labyrinth filled with old random stuff, but my favorite sections are the magazines, records, and toys! They have all the best old toys here and they're so cheap you don't feel bad when you smash your balsa wood plane into a tree! read more

While Orange has quite a number of antique malls, this is one of the best! And I always stop in when I make it to the old town area of Orange. First, it's huge! There are two large floors that offering a range of items. From true antiques (items 100 years old or older) to newer Disney pins (yes, Disney pins!). There are also a few dealers who offer vintage clothing at really reasonable prices, along with fabulous vintage jewelry. There isn't too much in the way of furniture, so if you're looking for a new-to-you couch, you likely won't find it here. But if its dishes, planters, pictures, and other housewares, this is the place! I also really appreciate the dealers who offer holiday goods year round! One booth offers some spectacular vintage Christmas decor. So, why the four instead of the five? There are a few dealers that are really "meh" and I feel treat their space like a table at a garage sale than a booth at an antique mall, but they are few and far between. read more

Often times I forget how wonderful these stores are. Haven't really found anything that I need, but I still think it is fun to look. I love the sound of the creaking floorboards and the smell. The only thing that can be a pain is parking. One time came in the morning and had trouble finding a spot. Took me 30 minutes before I found a spot. Then went recently in the afternoon, and there was ample parking. It might be one of those hit-or-miss type of deals when it comes to parking. read more

Wow! This place is filled to the brim with all sorts of goodies! Definitely recommend you make a plan of attack, otherwise you will be in this place ALL day. If I could give 0 stars I would. Me & my boyfriend were there 30 minutes before closing, and I saw this Dior vintage mini duffel bag that I was interested in and asked if I can get a closer look to see if it was authentic. It was listed for $392. The older lady with poofy grey hair then laughed in my face and went to go get the keys, and when my boyfriend asked why she laughed rudely she said "well I told you we were closing", when we had already been in the store and I was actually interested in buying that piece. She continued to laugh rudely, and said she was sorry but clearly didn't mean it, she said it while laughing! The other old lady with glasses at the register said " there was nothing to be sorry for", while waving for us to get out of the store. I think the real reason they treated us poorly and laughed in my face was because they thought I didn't have the money to buy the piece. When I actually have multiple vintage Dior pieces. I believe if I was not Hispanic, I would've been treated differently. Terrible customer service, and poor treatment. I felt completely discriminated against. read more

We coveted many many things and took some home with us. There's plenty of antique stores in Downtown Orange. They let you carry beverages in so grab a cup of coffee and meander through. During my three years in Costa Mesa I worked at a law firm on Anton Boulevard. On weekends, I needed to do things to occupy my time. Since socializing was not an option, I took long walks, either in the desert or from my building to outlying areas. Generally, I walked north to the antique mall at Orange Circle, west to Koreatown, or to Balboa Island to the southwest. These walks are all about 20 miles, round trip. The reward of the Koreatown walk was lunch, of course. The reward of the Balboa Island walk was the view of the boats, the lovely houses owned by rich people, and the inviting gift shops. And the reward of my walk north to Orange Circle Antique Mall was the delight of spending several minutes exploring precious souvenirs once owned by folks belonging to long-gone generations. I liked viewing elderly kitchen appliances, from an era before microchips. I enjoyed the displays of vases and porcelain statues. I enjoyed the stacks of well-preserved ancient Life Magazines. Also, I enjoyed viewing the sheet music for pop songs that were "all the rage" in a time when my grandma was a teenager. I have purchased second hand vases and statues only for one reason, namely to teach drawing to a child. I arranged these things in patterns used by famed artist named, Morandi, and requested my young student to position the electric light to cast attractive shadows. Okay, further regarding the Orange Circle Antique Mall, it makes a nice destination for showing out of town visitors. In fact, during one weekend, I brought my out-of-town visitors to see Orange Circle Antique Mall, Balboa Island, and Joshua Tree National Park. read more

I wish I could give this place less than one star! If you are a dealer renting a section of this store beware of potential sales loss!!! I live a block from the Orange Circle, and frequent the antique stores. My husband and I walked into this store and browsed around when I saw a mid-century movie poster that I liked. I don't even remember the movie title, but liked the design of it. The price was pretty steep (over $200 and in fair to poor condition), but I figured I would ask the sales lady if that was the "best price." Many of the surrounding spaces had signs up advertising 10-20-30% of items in their spaces. I've been around this block before. Besides, it doesn't hurt to ask, right? The woman working there was an older lady, who seemed annoyed to even answer me. After I asked her about getting a better price on the poster, she said that "maybe she could call the seller." Maybe?! So then I asked her if that was the situation, please do call the seller, because I was really interested in the piece, but I would like to at least ask about a 10% or higher decrease. She stared at me blankly and in the RUDEST tone scoffed at me and said "You know, this isn't a yard sale." Then, she promptly turned and walked away from me. As if I was asking 50% off for some $10 item?! I was boiling! I went to speak to the manager behind the cash register and told him how insulted I was at the employee's conduct, and all he could do was stare at me! I felt like I was in a Twilight Zone episode! After a thirty second uncomfortable stare without an apology or even a shred of acknowledgement I left the store. I have an entire house full of antiques (bedroom sets, radios, chairs, clocks, knick nacks, etc etc etc) and have never been so insulted in buying any of these items! I love large antique malls, and this is one of the best in Orange. If you're in socal, Orange makes for a great day trip if you like antiques because this area has several large antique malls, small antique shops and even some really cool places to eat. read more

After many years of visiting old Orange and going to the Antique Mall, I was extremely sad and disappointed with the behavior of the owner and employees of this store! I asked in a kind manner, if i could use the restroom (emergency) and was told NO! We have been sued too many times by the handicapped organization. I then asked if they knew where the closest restrooms were located. The owner stated, "It is not my job to find you a restroom.My job is to work here!" I asked him why he was talking to me so rudely. His response was..."Get out of my store now!" One of the customers shared with that I should go to the Mayor of Orange and report the incident. Which I did. Basically, they did not seem to care and said they could not do anything about it. I am sadden beyond belief that after many years of shopping in the Antique Mall, that it has come to an all time low! Even worse, most of the stores and restaurants have signs saying no restroom use! Time for the quaint little circle in Orange to figure out something!!! read more

honestly this place is amazing and they have a lot of nice things for sale. i had a great experience until i went to check out. i had picked out a magazine without the price on it while shopping. the attendant who served my friend before me was very pleasant, but they switched out and the cashier who helped me out, Karen, made the experience go from quiet and pleasant to abrasive and tense in seconds. she was rude and dismissive and spoke to me in a bad tone since i had an item with no price. she demanded i show her where it came from and yelled at my friend when he tried to walk her to the section. she said to her coworker that "customers can wait, it's california," right in front of me before barking at me to step back so she could help the next customer. the service was so unsettling and unnecessarily bitter. this place deserves five stars on its own and the only thing stopping me from leaving one star after that interaction was the quality of the mall. i did not expect to be yelled at and belittled while checking out and the interaction with Karen soured the experience completely. extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. If you're considering visiting this mall, they have great quality items and i wouldn't let this deter you from stopping by! however this experience did make me consider frequenting the business again so i hope management can check in with this employee and get to the root of the problem. read more

We came here recently...... I was showing the boy around Old Towne Orange. Taking him to all of the antique malls. The Orange Circle is literally in my back yard and it's a shame that I don't venture out more often here. I guess after spending a little more than a year at COBA (cosmetology school) which is in the Orange Circle one can and will get over the food here and the shops. But, alas I was back shopping here and dinning. I use to frequent these antique malls more so when I first moved to the area and I have found some real gems. So back to my most recent visit. I brought the boy here. Orange Circle Antique Mall is the best out of all of the antique malls (for me at least). It's sad to see some of the good booths go. There used to be a dealer who had tons of Bakelite and now they have left. But, there are tons and tons of other good dealers in here. My favorite would be the one down stairs in the far corner on the right side to the stairs. The chick that rents that spot has good stuff. A good selection of EVERYTHING from the 60's to the 70's to the early 80's. It's fun to roam around in here. I have tons of vintage stuff that my home resembles like a vintage museum. I can't really add anymore to it. BUT... I found something that I couldn't walk away from. Something real quarky but it reminded me of my grandmother and I have not seen one since I was little. It was a Moo-Cow Creamer and it was only $6 and some change. I love it! I'm a nerd and I found an image of it on-line so I copied it! This is the best antique shop at Orange Circle. My boyfriend loves to go antique-ing so I took him here, we spent countless hours looking at nic nacs. I ended up with a leather cape from the 60s-70s era, it was half off so I got it for $20! I win. read more
