Grabbed a shirt from a booth marked 25% off and once I got up front the cashier very condescendingly told me, that booth never has a sale so it's not and wanted me to pay full price. When I showed them the sign clearly in the booth showing a sale the tags were a different number and therefore not on sale. Shockingly rude. I am an avid antique and vintage person, having both bought and sold for decades now. This is not how you do business and this is how you lose customers permanently. They are doing their dealers a disservice by acting like this and allowing some dealers to do shady business practices will only see them lose more returning business. I will not be back. read more

I have been a regular at this antique mall for quite some time but have taken quite a few months off. I'd say right now the selection of vendors in there are right up my alley in terms of my personal taste. I usually leave with something, which makes coming here worth it every time. I've noticed new staff members lately too, and it's cool to see new blood in there. I was hoping there was one employee in particular that had been replaced that I didn't particularly care for in the past but NOPE there she was....KAREN. Yelp challenge 2016. 84/116 Babies in bottles, ceremaic ears, teeth impressions, hair brushes are a few of the strange encounters nestled deep within the walls of this treasure shop. Located near the Orange Circle in old Town Orange sits this multi level home to treasures of all sorts, sizes, smells, ect. A journey through life. As a kid I used to be dragged here with my parents for hours of pure boredom. 20 years later, this place is full of memorbilla from my childhood and I'm the one my parents are hurrying as we explored the shop. With age I have a better appreciation of things in life. Tons of cool little shops with their own little themes. From old furniture, WW2 stuff, dolls of all ages, clothing, jewelry, comics, glassware, sewing kits, vintage lunch boxes and cups. The list goes on and on. Now, Im a real nerd. BOOKS excite me. Let me tell you....they had tons and tons of used books from old schoolhouse books from the 1800s, Charles Dickens first editions, Mark Twain first editions, old 70s Golden kids books. Some books were older, but have become popular due to current events/TV ( Donald Trump books, OJ Simpson trial books) A lot of the books had dedication pages in them. Some books were moderately priced, some were way more expensive. Still I was seriously tickled pink digging through all the book venues inside. This visit I was able to sneak out a candle wick dish for Mothers Day that my mom seemed interested in. If you have an hour to spend, this place is worth a visit. #885 read more

Living in Southern California we always seem to get out of state visitors. At least once a year a visiting friend or relative asks, "You got any good antique stores around here?". This is where I always take them. This antique mall easily has over 100 booths operated by private vendors who sell everything under the sun. On my most recent visit I noted that customers gravitated to booths selling jewelry (both costume and pricier vintage stuff), Disney collectibles, vinyl record albums and tiki collectibles. Of course there is much much MUCH more than that. The place is full of truly vintage stuff from 100 years ago to more recent but hard-to-find collectibles. A lot of it is very cool to see while other stuff - at least to me - just seems like complete overpriced garbage and I wonder who would ever want it. While my eyes glaze over within 15 minutes in places like this, my most recent visit was a 2+ hour marathon. It's large enough that a shopper can easily spend that much time in here. When it was all over my wife walked out with several pieces of jewelry. Workers here are very friendly and helpful. I called on them several times to get keys to open cases so my wife could more closely examine pieces of jewelry. There are several other antique malls and stores on Glassell but this is definitely my go-to place when I'm asked to take someone antiquing. read more

Eh, nothing new. Dragged into this, one of a gaggle of "antique shops" within the Orange Circle, expecting to see grandma-type furniture, but it's really a yard sale with no yard and no sale. Still, I found myself interested in a selection of items of what appears to be a museum of my childhood, like Disney stuff, records, magazines, toys, stylistic decor like lamps or kitchenware, and particularly fast-food merchandise (Looney Tunes glasses from Burger King, Ronald McDonald doll, Happy Meal Toys). I love this place to walk around and occasionally find some great thrifts with a great price. Most of the stuff here is pretty pricey but it is an antique store and not a thrift store so I can't complain. The only reason it's not a 5 star is because the ladies in the front are always very rude to everyone. Everyone I've shown this place to and myself feel totally unwelcome here when walking in and checking out. No respect or manners at all. I used to absolutely love coming to this place. It was my go to for anything antique. Up until my friend was racial profiled & harassed about "cameras working". The people that work in this store seem to be the rudest human begins. The only person that was helpful/nice was the man with the "Nitendo" tattoo. Otherwise, everyone else is extremely rude & makes you feel like you are constantly annoying them. I'm sorry, don't work in customer service if you are going to treat everyone like they are dumb. Nostalgic, cute, creepy and fun are a few words that come to mind when describing the Orange Circle Antique Mall. Creepy namely because of the case of Raggedy Ann dolls and porcelain figurines that brought back visions of the movie Annabelle which made me scurry to catch up with my girlfriends who were scoping the rest of the store. I was fascinated though with the vintage cameras and typewriters and almost left with one of each. Almost. They had an awesome vinyl selection but I didn't see any artists I liked. I would've loved to have added to my collection. The place has a lower level section with a ton of booths from individual sellers. Whatever vintage find you could possibly want, you could most certainly find here. They had everything from old comic books, retro clothing, books, furniture, housewares...you name it. Some in shabby shape, some in near mint condition. My bestie found the cutest foldable bookshelf that was half off: a steal for $15 and practically brand new. Her sister found a new Hello Kitty stuffed animal for a mere $10. Me? I'm picky but almost picked up a vintage Minolta camera. Maybe next time. The co-habby called my friends and I "The Golden Girls" for our antiquing adventure. Totally not insulted and dibs on being Betty White, my favorite Golden Girl, lol. Fun store. You could easily lose track of time while exploring all of the walkways. Pricing is about the same as every other antique store. There's a few items I personally wouldn't sell if I owned the shop, but in the end it is their decision. I would say give yourself about an hour to two hours to fully explore the shop. It's the perfect spot to find a unique gift for loved ones. I noticed they're pretty well stocked in dishes, clothing especially vintage sportswear, toys, and other miscellaneous knick knacks. Willing to see if you can find a few treasures? That's what antique malls are to hubby and myself. Well, perhaps me more so than him, but at least he lives a bit vicariously through me as I hop around all of the antique malls in Orange! The Orange Circle Antique Mall is huuuuge: around three floors of different merchants, plus several extensions into different parts of other buildings. While some of the shops/store sections can be a little tight, it really is up to the merchant on how maneuverable-friendly they want to make it for potential buyers. Some really decorate it and make it as open as feasibly possible for the space they have, while others seem to just dump things in there to see if people are willing to rummage through them. Still, most of the shops are quite cute with definitely a good amount of unique things that you may not find anywhere else. Books, bottles, telephones, decor, furniture.... you'll probably see something interesting for sure while having a visit. And, as prices will vary, you never know if one merchant has an exact item for a little cheaper than another. So much fun to browse! So, why the 3-star review? Well, on our last visit, I found an older Maurice Sendak book that wasn't in the most awesome-st condition, but it wasn't horrible for its age. And, as all merchants have to put down the price tag somewhere so that the cashier can clip the price tag to know which vendor gets the sale, the price tag was inside of the book. Well, we go up to the cashier, let him know I'm ready (which he didn't look too pleased to be taken away from whatever he was occupied on), and he slaps the book around a few times to try and find the price tag. Unfortunately, I didn't know that the cashier was literally going to rip out the price tag from the book instead of carefully taking it out, and he took out a chunk of the inner book cover with the tag. I WAS NOT HAPPY. I'm not interested in buying a more seriously injured book, and there wasn't a "sorry" or "oops" from the guy; he just kept telling me the total and waited for my credit card. I guess he was nice enough to act like he was going to grab a shopping bag for me, but when I told him that I didn't need a bag, he just stared at me like I was stupid or crazy. Maybe it's just his face and he was happy happy joyful joyful inside, but I certainly wasn't. And once I didn't take the bag, he was completely done with me, and said, "next person". No "thank you", no "goodbye", no "appreciate your business". Overall, great place to wander and check out the goods. But be super careful when you have to deal with the staff to make sure your soon-to-be purchased stuff isn't going to be rough-handled or actually damaged. read more

I'm really not an antique shopper or lover or buyer or collector AT ALL, but this place is super fun to browse around and check out all of the goodies they have. There are some pretty interesting items; silly, old, gross, weird, beautiful... you name it, there's a ton of stuff! I don't know if prices are reasonable or not because I don't typically shop these types of items or know values on things, but I do know that there's a remarkable amount of stuff and a variety of selection. Let me start with I absolutely love this store, have been coming here for years.. I stopped by today to see if they had any trains, truck, tracks.. after finding some the older lady behind the counter, with the attitude from hell, came over to open the glass. She couldn't find the correct key- it was colored coordinated, guess she didn't know. But spent time trying all sorts of keys only to become irritated and tell us we were probably shit out of luck and too bad for us.. which we ignored and just smiled. Eventually we asked to see a couple other things we wanted. She again was pretty crude. When I lost my partner in the store I asked her if she had seen him step out, she said ugh. No why would I do that... well I asked because she was at the only entrance/exit.. apparently they do not acknowledge who comes in and out. And when I stated that she started with her sour sarcasm. I really loved this store but unless this lady isn't working I won't be returning.. This is for anyone, if you don't like your job or are having a bad day don't take it out on your customers. Pretty darned good, yet hit-or-miss, vinyl record selection. There are several crates scattered throughout the store, but if you want rare vintage metal/punk/late 80s vinyl, this is (quite surprisingly) one of the best spots I've found. I'm not sure if it's a fluke (only been here once) but I think it's a rare gem for crate digging vinyl heads. In one trip I picked up 2 Cure LPs, 2 Black Sabbath LPs, an original press Dead Kennedys record, a Vandals re-issue, a copy of Talking Heads' Speaking In Tongues and Fear Of Music, a copy of REM's Out Of Time, a Motley Crüe LP, and, surprise of the day, a vinyl press of Bomb The Music Industry's Goodbye Cool World. An embarrassment of riches. Maybe I cleaned out all the good stuff haha! Looking forward to another visit next time I'm up in Orange. read more

Super bizarre staff in my opinion. I've been here multiple times for over a decade and they just keep getting ruder and weirder. Seems normal for them to accuse customers of stealing or switching tags. Expect for them to stare at you and perhaps make odd conversation. Staff really hate having to call a dealer for a price. Once I took some items up to the checkout that were priced at $2 each--and the person behind the counter said I'd have to pay $3 each because $2 each was too cheap. I didn't buy the items (mostly because I doubted those extra dollars would actually make it to the dealer). I mean, that's the kind of wacko behavior you can expect from here. I don't get it, but it's sadly not uncommon around antique malls. Dealers can bring great stuff in, but crazy/greedy/hoarder staff can really ruin the place. On a positive note, it's a big store with lots of merchandise and clean booths for the most part. Some nice dealers. If you're really enthusiastic about vintage stuff (or maybe more "memorabilia") then you might think it's fantastic. As someone who's spent decades going to antique malls, it's just more of the same. This place was GREAT!!! From the moment my husband and I walked in, we were greeted by a nice older lady who was very cheery and helpful, as well as a younger guy. They had much to look at and many of the items were surprisingly very fairly priced. Almost immediately, I found a cute Simba and Nala salt and pepper shaker set at a fantastic price! A very large store with so many things to see. I spent about an hour there and still didn't see everything. Antiques aren't really my thing, and I was only there because my friend wanted to go, but I still enjoyed walking around and seeing all that was available. Some interesting and unusual things though you should plan on devoting an entire day to looking at everything, there's just so much of it. I love Old Towne Orange and visit frequently. I have never had a bad experience until a few weeks ago when I came to the Orange Circle Antique Mall. This spot used to be one of my favorite stores in the area. On this particular day, however, my boyfriend had purchased a t-shirt next door and when we were leaving the Antique Mall, one of the shop tenders accused us of stealing the shirt from their location. The man asked if we paid for the item and my boyfriend explained that he had purchased it next door. The man rudely replied "are you sure?" as if we were lying. It's so unfortunate that an employee would respond this way. This unprofessional interaction makes me never want to step foot in the store again. read more

This place is one of our must-visit Antique stores in old town orange circle. We have been going for years even before Ebay started. At the end, There are some antique pieces that you can only explore in person. There are many long-time vendors there that always bring interesting and hard-to-find stuff for every seeker. We spend two days shopping for some silverware there and of course, we found some winners at the end. The whole process is always fun and adventurous; it is really worth sharing with friends, love-ones or whoever comes along. There are two floors filled with many shops that sometimes offer discounts. It is a good place to learn about Antiques and actually see them in reality when you are in luck! When you get tired, you can always get to nearby coffee shops, restaurants, or teahouses for a break! There are tons of antique stores in the neighborhood but what makes this place stand out is that this shop actually ventilated, which makes it easier to browse. read more

Probably takes the top spot of my favorite antique store around. The scale and sheer volume of the stuff they offer simply cannot be understood any other way other than to experience it in person.
