But I no longer see them assisting the patient so I'm not sure if they no longer work for the company since I haven't seen them in a while . Instead, the staff members I encounter are incredibly arrogant; their communication and conduct are completely unprofessional for the healthcare field. They are rude and lack professional integrity. They never follow through on promises made to the patient and avoid returning calls. There is a total lack of responsibility--whether among new or existing staff. They make up all sorts of excuses to avoid admitting fault when they make mistakes. Specifically a staff member named Vivian; I highly recommend HR and management look into this employees conduct and lack of company value and morale. I will never recommend this company for their loved ones due to their poor service that changed from what it use to be . Quality of care here is not of importance to management if they allow this to go on as it shows. Some serious employee evaluations need to take place before they get hit with a lawsuit .

The house I was in we were shoved in little rooms with multipul people on cots that had huge urine marks from previous clients. Ten women shared one bathroom as the bathroom downstairs was broken with poop in it! The bugs were the worst thing though. They were everywhere! I was bitten up so bad I needed medical attention after transferring out of there, plus they charge you 1200 a month to live there! We closed the windows but since they refused to turn the air on at night we had to open the windows which had torn up screens, hence the bug bites! On top of this they don't take clients to any meetings, grocery shopping, doctor's appointments, or even to the pharmacy to get their meds. They have one van for everyone so even though groups start at nine you are picked up at 7:30 and when the groups are over at 4:00, you dont get home until well after 5:00 and Mondays and Wednesday they take people to the gym so everyone has to go, then it's seven or eight oclock. The lunch they cater in for PHP clients is just awful. They spare every expense here and it is obvious they are only doing this for the money. I have stayed and worked at centers and have never experienced such calous attitudes and such horrible conditions. I am currently in the process of reporting them to the health department. All ua's are unsupervised so anyone could pass one with someone elses urine or synthetic urine. This place only cares about the money, they don't care about human beings! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you are serious about your recovery!

The best case manager was Katrina by a landslide. In my opinion she should be supervising the rest of them keeping them accountable. I saw my case manager one time in the 3 weeks I was there, then found out I was leaving by Katrina the following day. It wasn't until I asked to switch case managers I finally saw him. I also had issues with my therapist as I saw him one time. I was very disappointed that they knew at least a day before I did of my exit date. They should have communicated this to their peers to relay the message to me so I had more preparation. I gave this place 4 stars all because Katrina, Shae and the entire nursing staff. The doctors here are great as well.

My…read moremom had fallen and needed extra help, but was resistant to having anyone come into the home. Teri helped ease our concerns with compassion and practical advice. The first day Dana the caregiver arrived, my mom (& Dad!) were hooked. She was well trained, thoughtful, a "miracle worker" they said. We hadn't been able to get my mom in the shower, it was hard to help her sit in a comfortable position, there were many challenges, and Dana helped on so many levels with a smile and grace. Then when my mom's health quickly went south, I called Teri again to request around the clock care. Within less than 24 hours, Newport Home Care mobilized a team of caregivers who helped us take care of Mom with compassion and skill. We're very grateful for these people, their hearts are in their work.

Thankfully, Kaiser, my insurance, ordered me home health physical therapy and occupational therapy.  Never had this type of therapy at home, but I'm so fortunate to have that. Honestly, I went from bedridden to getting my strength back because of this dedicated team. They pushed me to my limits, but I needed it to desperately get my life back. I'd like to recognize Swati S, my occupational therapist. She was the cure and key to getting myself back to health. Her methods have given me my life back. I'll be ready and back to work soon. More extreme measures needed to be taken. I found PurIVy on yelp and decided I would give it a try. Peeling myself off the couch, I made it there and was suggested the Meyers IV. During the process, I was explained each step before anything was performed. There was such care taken by the team and I felt so comfortable the whole time. I was able to choose a movie to watch on Netflix, in which I chose "Big George Foreman". The entire process was about 45 minutes. I would highly suggest going there if sick or simply looking to rejuvenate your body. 5/5 stars!

Suddenly my husband was admitted into the hospital for an emergency procedure. Just as suddenly he was to be discharged -- unable to do anything unassisted. No way was I having him to go a nursing home; but how was I going to get him into the car or into the house when I got home? How was I going to care for him when we got home? I called Scott. Within an hour he had everything set up. Someone would be at the hospital to transfer my husband in and out of car and to help when we got home. Can you imagine my relief??? As it turned out, my husband was held for another day and, surprisingly, was able to walk with a walker. Within a short time, however, we did need help in house. Scott has been terrific working with us and my crazy schedule. We are very happy with the care my husband is receiving and feel very fortunate that there is such high quality service available for us.
