The front desk guy were also very friendly and helpful, At times Diego was like an Octopus with 8 arms, grabbing phones, grabbing things off the printer, running credit cards, etc. all at the same time while all very organized. I highly recommend this repair shop. What's even better is that two blocks down is an Enterprise rental branch, and they'll give you a lift to Enterprise so that you can get a rental if you need one; all on the same street which is very convenient. Orange County Collision is very clean and the reception area is nice and comfortable. Diego, who was my main contact is even a car enthusiast himself. When I picked up my car I asked him if I should put a new coat of wax on my freshly painted hood. He told me to wait at least a month, out of an abundance of caution, just so that the paint completely cures. I've babied my 2008 BMW for the 8 years that I've had her; in fact, most people are very surprised to learn that my car is so old-that's because I keep it in great shape-so I especially appreciate advice like this from guys like Diego. I came in to get my quarter panel fixed as it was pretty badly scratched up. Diego did the inspection and estimate and before leaving let me know that though they may not be the cheapest they stand by their work and strive for high quality (plus they offer rental car for free if you spend a specific amount). I did a little bit of shopping around and came back a month later to get the work done as they were not only the most personable out of everyone, they also spent a lot of time explaining everything that was going to happen and why they were going to do what they were. We go through the paperwork and off we go. When I come back to get my car at the end of the week, not only do they fix my car, he touched up some of the paint and detailed the car. I purchased two $15 headlight restoration coupons on Amazon and brought both my 1995 Ford E150 custom van and my 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe to OCC last month. The headlights on the Ford Van came out okay. The owner, Diego, explained that due to the style and age of the headlights, that this was the best they could do. Next I brought in the Santa Fe and the headlights were really bad making it hard to see at night. Well, I was amazed at how they looked when the job was completed. They looked just like they did when I bought the car when it was new! That night, when I turned on my headlights, I was shocked at the amount of light beaming from my headlights which only told me how really bad they had been. I could actually see the road in front of me. I didn't realize how little light I was driving with and was glad that it wasn't my eyesight failing...just the horribly oxidated lenses that barely let light out! A+ work. They're not the cheapest place around, but their paintwork and bodywork is second to none. The surface texture is a perfect match to factory paint, the tricky metallic color on my BMW is a perfect match, and the customer service is fantastic. They stand by their work 100%. They refinished one of my panels when it had a dent that was not there when I dropped it off. I do a lot of my own work, including trim panels and whatnot, so I can't comment on tiny fit and finish details, but for a car enthusiast and avid DIYer, I will keep returning to oc collision for all my paint and bodywork needs. I've never had such a pleasant experience with fixing my car before coming here.I know this place is new but After a bad accident, the first thing I wanted to deal with was a body shop in the fullerton area, but all of the employees were so nice and knowledgeable the entire process was stress free. Diego and his crew handled everything with my insurance company and made it super easy. They were also extremely fast, and kept in contact with me throughout the entire process.
