Mr. Ed came over to install a ceiling fan. We have an older house but it was not a problem for Ed. He did a fantastic job in what seemed like 15 minutes. I've never used a handyman before since I mostly do the work around the house myself. However I didn't have time to mess around with installing the new LED light fixtures for our master bath. While Ed was here I also had him install a new side security light fixture and got both of them done super fast and when he was done he told me he also noticed my side gate door was sagging and the latch wasn't working properly and ended up fixing that as well! Recently disposed of my regular plumber, of some 8-9 years, due to constant tardiness, reshuffling of appointments, and general slow work....anywhere from 2-hour to 2-day delays, on every visit. Communicated with another handyman on Yelp, got everything approved and scheduled.....then he flakes, too, never texting or calling. Cue in Ed @OC Handyman Services....excellent visit. Didn't mind his service form for appointments, I took it as he's a busy guy who doesn't want to be on his phone...a positive, to me. We quickly went over my list of to-dos, and he even added some of his own to my list that I didn't even have! He worked quickly and efficiently. Wow best experience I've ever had with a Handyman Service! Ed responded to my inquiry quickly, he came on time, and as everyone mentions he is super efficient! He charges by the hour, but he is so fast that originally I only needed him to take care of 4 items around the house. But he ended up fixing 8 things in the same amount of time as I had scheduled him for. He fixed a shower head, fixed two recessed lighting light sockets, replaced my A/C vent, fixed my front screen door, fixed my garage track, replaced toilet water flush mechanism, and lubricated all of our sliding doors, and he was able to clean out our fireplace. After he left, we realized that some of the outlets were not working. I joked he should charge babysitting He came to fix a broken cabinet, faucet leaking, hang curtains and install a wall mount TV. All was fantastic, ok minus me having curtains too short . We just moved into our 30 year old home and we had a long fix it list. We found Ed on Yelp. Ed is everything excellent his reviews have to say about him. He started at 10:00 on the nose. We did a quick walk through of work that needed to be done. Once he did the walk through he got started. He hung towel racks, curtains, heavy mirrors and art work.
