I don't know where to start... so I needed new corporate headshots and I was racing against time, since I missed the last photo shoot at the office. I called and spoke with Mark and he had availability the next day. Very polite and warm on the phone and even nicer in person. He runs his studio from his garage, which seems a little sketch, but he's far from it. Very professional and has a whole system and full photo setup with lighting and backdrops, etc. Of course it's normal to feel nervous having your picture taken 100 times and moving and tilting your head and body, but Mark made me feel very comfortable and not awkward! After the shoot I received my proofs within 24 hours and I was not pleased, but he said just focus on your expression as this is not the final retouched photo. I was stuck on the whole image and explained my concerns to Mark. He did a few edits and retouching and within a few hours I had the final product. I think it came out natural and very professional. After I submitted them to our corporate library, the sizing and resolution was not compatible (face palm). I emailed Mark and once again, this time in minutes, I had the new jpeg files with the required sizing and resolution. While you can get your professional headshot done by pretty much everyone (including your own 'selfie' on your phone), I would highly suggest you don't. I believed enough in Orange County headshots (and Mark Jordan) that I paid to have the President of one of my clients to have his headshot taken by Mark.
