Her routines are also really well put together. She mixes in new combos here and there, so there's always something new to work on. She's very knowledgeable and experienced in what she teaches. Boxing: Jessie is an awesome boxing coach! He's very attentive, walks around the room to make sure everyone is using proper form. Great combos and I like that he suggests options to add a strike in the middle of the combo routine. Jessie exudes an incredible energy that motivates you to push out your best efforts in every class. Also shoutout to both coaches for good selection of music and always ending each class with stretching. I really appreciate that they take the time for recovery and not just the workout itself.

I took the 6:15 PM Gi Jiu Jitsu class, taught by UNF MMA Champion and Checkmat Black Belt, Gianni Vazquez. The class is designed for all skill levels, so whether you're a beginner or have no experience at all, you'll feel right at home. It started with some warm-ups and quickly moved into specific drills and live sparring. As a purple belt, I really enjoyed the class and walked away with some awesome guard-passing techniques. Rounders MMA offers so much more than just Jiu Jitsu - they also have NoGi Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, and Muay Thai classes. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. His attention to detail and ability to explain techniques made it clear that he has years of experience and a genuine passion for teaching. This gym is the closest I've found in the U.S. to the feel and integrity of traditional Muay Thai in Thailand. The vibe is authentic, the training is real, and Aaron truly knows what he's doing. I wrote an awesome review back in 7/2023, halfway through the time we attended the gym. We started our membership in May. In June, my husband put in a 60-day notice with the front desk to end our membership by August 2023 since our kids were going to start school in September and our schedules didn't match with practice times at HB Ultimate Training Center. The lady at the front desk said she entered it in and that we were good. We had had every intention of going back to the gym again the following summer. We said our goodbyes to the other kids in August and thought it had gone smoothly. In Sept I checked my bank statement and found I had been charged for TWO more months. I was very upset because we did our due diligence in letting them know TWO MONTHS AHEAD OF TIME, like it stated in the contract. Suddenly the typically nice admins were not so nice, claiming we never told them (and since it was a verbal request, there was no time stamp to prove they had said they took care of it). I went in two different times, in person, without my children, to talk to them about this matter. The general manager claimed that the admin had entered it in wrong (instead of cancelling the membership, she had frozen the membership), so it was her fault, however he also claimed that their billing company are sharks and wouldn't reverse the charges even if he wanted to. So he suggested we go back to attending jiu jitsu lessons for 2 months, supposedly free of charge, that he could probably manage to get us back one month's worth of membership only, and then we could decide to sign up with them again if we wanted to. NO. After pulling this stunt, we would NEVER go back to this business. They eventually gave us back one month's worth of membership, I'll given them that. But unfortunately, it seems like it's a common tactic for other gyms too; it's so easy to sign up but so difficult to cancel. I would highly recommend for anyone that signs up with them to have the front desk or the general manager sign a typed document that they have received a request to freeze/end their membership to prevent from being unfairly charged more months. Also, if you do sign up, do it at the beginning of the month rather than the end of the month. They had told me initially that it would be prorated, but when I was trying to cancel my membership, and I told the general manager that they had charged me for an extra month, and he informed me that they had charged us for the entire month of May. HB Ultimate Training Center: if you want to stay in business, you need to treat your customers right. You lost 3 of us in one go for getting greedy.

I dabble in both Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu classes on a weekly basis. Morning and evenings classes for both martial arts are offered and this works perfectly with my work schedule. The space is huge and is always clean as well. Everyone I've met at this gym is nice and willing to help as well. Overall the fighters and grapplers that Master Cordeiro and Professor Ricardo have produced in the past years has paid off because this gym has many high level athletes.
