Should have read the reviews before I came. The employees here have no desire to try to help you. I wanted to inquire about a monthly membership, but I was pushed into just doing a single wash. I had questions, but the kid was running me through so I didn't get them answered. Because my questions weren't answered when I went through the wash, I was not completely dried. Apparently, you have to pay for the most expensive wash to be able to have the final dryers roll over your car. When I came to vacuum my car, the vacuum hoses were held together by duct tape. I was gonna make this my regular car wash, but I will never be coming back again. read more

Went here for the first time, and it's going to be my last. Got in line, paid, then got close to the washing lane. I noticed from a distance how the rollers, water and soap sprays would end even before the cars would reach it. I got so confused, then I saw it again happen to the white SUV in front of me. When I finally got on the conveyor, soap started to spray on my car. I noticed on the side that the rollers would end before I went passed it. Not the rollers, not the water, not the other soap sprays and even the air dryer hit my car at all. After that, I was convinced the car wash lane is absolutely broken. None of the staff said ANYTHING about it being broken. They just kept letting everyone in. I was annoyed. I chose the "best" wash they had and wasted money. I parked at the vacuum area hoping there would be compressed air I could use to at least blow the soap bubbles away, but there wasn't any. To make sure I wasn't imagining what I saw with the other cars, I asked the lady next to me, the same driver that was in front, if it ended early for her, too. She said unhappily "Yep. It was a waste of time!" I ended up leaving to go to another car wash up Tustin St. which worked perfectly. I then realized I needed to get a refund. I called this location, the manager answered. I asked for a refund and mentioned the fact that their "car wash is broken as hell." You can tell from her voice she wasn't happy. She refused to give me a refund over the phone. I was already on my way home so I tried to get the refund for the next day. Soon after the call ended, she called and left a voicemail saying I had to come in now if I wanted the refund. Trying to make it difficult for me to get a refund? Fine. Went back, got in line and met the manager. She wasn't happy and constantly looked at me with contempt. Kept asking if I had my receipt, I said no, because I didn't ask for it to be printed when I paid. She said "Then how I can refund you?" Are you serious? You can't refund someone using just my card information? Well, guess what? After she repeatedly asked me about my receipt, she ended up refunding me anyway after giving her my license plate which they had on record. She said "Next time make sure to have your receipt." -- or what? You're not going to refund me despite having my payment and license plate in your system? Also, who the hell knew the lane was going to be that broken until we got in there? Otherwise I could have made sure to get the receipt so I could flash that on your face. She was just damn lazy to look it up. And if you didn't believe my claim, look at your camera feed. Plus, I sure as hell know YOU KNEW the car wash lane was broken at that time because your staff manning the booth was scrambling around. I wondered at the time why he ran towards me and tried to stop me from making a payment. I also know you saw me talking to the lady with my car clearly covered in soap bubbles because when I turned around, you were there looking at us as you walked away while the lady was diligently and sadly trying to wipe off the soap on her SUV. The manager just chose to ignore it all and hoped no one would complain. You knew the lane was broken, yet you kept letting more and more cars in instead of shutting it down to fix it. A bunch of cars came out of that lane covered in soap as the drivers paid for your so-called "car wash." The sad thing is this car wash is significantly newer than Rapids Express Car Wash further North on Tustin St which I primarily went to. This location is so badly maintained that one of the air blowers' vent is spinning in place blowing air in circles. All because of poor management. This place is absolute garbage. NO RAIN POLICY! I visited this car wash for the first time yesterday, and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I wasn't aware that rain was expected later in the day. I returned this morning to ask if they offered any type of 24-hour rain check or rewash policy. I was told they do not have one, which was surprising and frustrating. Many car washes offer some kind of rain guarantee, so this felt like a missed opportunity for customer service. I hope my $10 car wash was worth all of my future business. I had a very disappointing experience with Orange Express Car Wash. After taking my Tesla through their car wash, I noticed scratches and paint damage on the right side of my car. I contacted them several times by phone and email and asked them to review their security camera footage, but they never responded. I was a monthly member and expected at least a professional response and an investigation into what happened. Accidents can happen, but completely ignoring a customer's calls and emails is unacceptable. I would not recommend this car wash based on both the damage to my vehicle and their lack of customer service. read more

Would really love to like this car wash however after several attempts to discuss the damage this place did to my vehicle I have concluded it's poorly run and management/ owners could not care less about their customers. They are supposed to turn off the overhead spinning dryer cloth on taller vehicles with room racks. Well they didn't and it ripped off my roof rack. No manager on duty the day it happened. Every time I tried to use it, the license plate scanner couldn't scan my plate and I had to have a conversation with the attendants about it in order to wash my car. After a few times, I had enough and cancelled my membership and was assured I would no longer be charged. Two years later, I see that I'm being charged for a monthly membership. Very cool! read more

Bottom line is a company cares or doesn't care about keeping customers happy. Does this car wash place care ??? I unfortunately was super excited when they opened less than 1 mile from us. During their grand opening I ALREADY had issues with their quality, pricing and vacuum hoses that come apart. After reading the RECENT reviews and seeing less than 2 stars, I am not surprised at all. I also had a short complaint to a "staff or manager" there. Yes he was rude, yes he didn't seem to care and no he did not do the right thing for me which was to admit I didn't get the FULL service I paid for.... I drove by today to see they had finally opened! As you drive north, you'll see a sign saying, "EXIT. Do not enter." That's for the place next door; you actually turn into the place right after that sign. I first noticed a VERY LONG driveway before you get to the pay stations. This is a very good thing, as people who may be familiar with a couple of other express car wash places have issues with the line bleeding into traffic. Hopefully, this will be different here. They had someone helping at the pay stations, which I appreciated. Since they just opened yesterday (I asked), they were offering a very attractive price for my first car wash. I don't know how much longer they'll be offering that price, but it was a VERY good deal, which I appreciated, so I took the VIP car wash. Entering the car wash was normal, as were all others. Someone guided you, and there was a sign reminding you to put the car in neutral. My pro tip is to put the car in neutral before hitting the moving track and coast in. Right away, I noticed this track seemed to move faster than other express car washes, so don't let that alarm you. Inside, everything is very colorful about which treatment is currently being applied to your car. Of course, the soap on the windshield blinds you, so you don't see everything, but it was fairly typical. I was shocked that one of the side-spinning washers pushed my side mirror back. I'm not a fan of that. But then, the next spun in the opposite direction and pushed it back! Different, but OK. In addition to the heat blowers to dry your car, they have towels on spinny thingies (I'm sure there's a technical name, but you know what I mean). That was a nice tough, although the big roller that goes over you barely touched my hood. I could tell it was super soft, though, because it made no sound when hitting my car. Outside, the vacuums are not pretty standard for these places. Nice and strong. They don't have high-pressure blowers like other places, but had a cool place to hang your mats for easy vacuuming and also to make sure you don't miss the crap under the mat. I still had to dry off a few places, but I swear it was less places than other car washes. Even the hood that the last roller missed was dry. Still had to dry the side mirrors (which I made sure had popped back into place) and the back side of the truck is just hard to get so that needed some towel action, but overall, I'm impressed. One thing to know is there is only 1 way in and out of the lot, so when you pull out after you are done with the vacuums, make sure you head south to get back out to Tustun. (Suggestion if the owners read this, have signs pointing towards the exit as there isn't much room to turn around if you go the wrong way.) It is a little more expensive than the one up the street. I think I saw $9 for a basic wash and $24 (??) for the VIP. Don't quote me. I also saw monthly membership programs. Overall, a nice addition to the car washes on Tustin Ave. read more

No accountability, no professionalism, just straight disrespect. If this is how you treat paying customers, it says a lot about your business. Absolutely unacceptable experience. My mom went in with a simple question about a charge she thought was a subscription, and instead of helping her, employees (one named Javier) were laughing at her while she was trying to get answers. When she asked for a corporate number, they only gave her the store number and kept clowning around. I called myself to follow up, and it was just as bad. The staff gave me a hard time, were dismissive, and claimed no managers or shift leads were available. Again big emohasis on the disrespect. Update from previous 5-star review. I TRULY wanted to keep coming here, but damn, they make it hard! I feel like half the time the gate doesn't work and they always have to enter my number and I feel the wash just doesn't get the job done. I continued to come here for convenience, but now I'm cancelling my monthly membership because I got a new car and they can't simply swap out my old car for the new one. WTF?! They remodeled and it's under new ownership for the last year. Prices start now at $8. However I drive a Miata and they don't wash the car as good as the people down the street. I do like that the wash is newer and it feels like it's a better clean since the wash tunnel is longer in length. read more

I was paying for 2 cars on my subscription and after a few months, some of the washing parts weren't working and it ended up putting multiple scratches and damage to my car. Been going there for months and decided to finally sign up for the membership. Today I arrived and asked for a towel but was told to purchase one (which previously the workers would give me). Proceeded to pull forward and saw a whole box of towels there, giving me confirmation that this was something they do. Instead as I pulled away the employee stated "just go stupid". I reversed back, asked to talked to a manager and support in canceling my membership. Instead the lady stated she would be calling the cops. Orange PD got to see her lack of customer service. Car in front of me got stuck in the conveyor at the e it and I almost hit him. Took awhile for someone to come and then they just waved him on as if they were irritated. Poor customer service. There's a car wash down the street a little further on Tustin Avenue that I think I'm going to join. I have been coming here for several months to this location, and two of my vehicles they can't get my license plates correct in the system so I have to sit there and wait and wait and wait every single time for them to manually raise the gate for me. Two different vehicles? Why? On top of that, every single time I go through this car wash there are multiple brushes that are broken and not working. And then there are brushes that bounce around and don't even touch your car, like the drying brushes. These folks don't take care of their car wash and I do not recommend them. Go down the street and try the other place. At least they get things right and their car wash is always fully operational without anything broken. read more

First of all: the facility itself is fine. Very lower middle of the road machine drive through wash. The vacuuming area is actually very nice. Place to hold your mats and vacuum them, powerful vacuum hoses with long nozzles to get in nooks and crannies. The employees are also fairly decent, never been rude or had any issues, never extraordinary or outstanding but nice and cordial. Since the grand opening around half a year ago I have had the "basic" wash membership for $15-16 per month for my beater daily driver - 2013 Veloster Turbo. This car already has damaged paint so it's an easy quick wash and really signed up for the "free vacuuming" included with the membership. So today 5/28/25 I go to the car wash around 1pm and get my standard wash, when requesting a dashboard wipe (as I always do) I asked "I have another car and just wanna use the free vacuum, is it okay if I bring it?" The employee said "yeah it shouldn't be a problem just come later in the day when it's not too busy" made sense to me, they probably just don't wanna use a prime vacuuming slot for a non wash customer. Cool. I go home, wash my 1985 Toyota MR2, and once I finish I drive back to Orange Express Car Wash just to do a super quick vacuum. I pull up and the place is nearly empty maybe 2-3 other cars vacuuming. I pull right in and get to work, I've been at it for maybe 1 minute and I'm wrapping up the drivers side already and I hear shouting behind me. I look up and there is an older (late 60s) Asian man screaming at me "no vacuum! you get wash!!!" I calmly said "excuse me?" "I have another account, I was here earlier, I'm just using the vacuum really quick." He exclaimed "No! You need wash! No Vacuum without wash!" I said "listen man I pay to use this service. Who are you? Are you the owner?" He continued in his rage "No! You need pay car wash for vacuum! "No! I'm no owner" i explained again calmly "okay go get the owner or the manager because you're not making any sense" "no owner here! They go home! No manager here they go home!" He continued. At this point another employee a short hair (possibly Hispanic) girl came over and asked what's going on. I explained I have an account, I was here earlier, I was told I could come vacuum and this dude has lost his mind. She was nice and explained that technically a different membership is required to vacuum multiple cars on one account (something I was never told). I said "okay, if that's the case can you cancel my account?" She explained that no she couldn't and that only the manager who is in the morning could do it and also told me the old man Is the owner...I said "okay, while I'm still paying for this service today I'll just wrap up and cancel tomorrow" the old man screams again "No! You leave!" I said "call the police if you want, I'm going to use the service I paid for" I finished up and walked back over to the nice girl employee and gave her my other cars license plate and asked her to cancel my account in the morning because I won't be giving this "owner" any more of my money. As I'm going to leave I asked his name, he refused. I asked her his name and she refused saying "I'm new I don't know" and when I went to take his picture while he was yelling more he ran away. Spend your money how you like, but I won't be supporting people like this. I'm a local small business owner myself. If a customer did something like this in my company I'd calmly approach "hi there, in order to vacuum you need to have an account on the vehicle" "oh okay, well thanks for being a customer go ahead and finish up just next time know that do vacuum multiple vehicles you need the premium account, do you want me to sign you up?" Customer service ESPECIALLY from an owner goes a long way. You lost a loyal customer who you could have converted to a premium account. Now instead of my money monthly you get nothing and multiple bad reviews. All over a power trip, screaming and yelling over FREE VACUUMING. Do better. read more

Would recommend this car wash again and again! I decided to go on a whim. I took my son's car in because it was SO dirty! I wish I took a before photo. All the stains from water and tree debris washed off and leaves got blown out of all the nooks and crannies of the car. I'm embarrassed to say how long it had been since his last car wash. Not sure what other posters' experiences were but I was stuck at the gate struggling with payment and the owner stopped what he was doing to come and help me. When I'm at a car wash I don't necessarily need people to cater to me, I just want competent people and a great quality wash. I wish this place was closer to where I lived but I will def make a trip out with my youngest son because he enjoys car wash tunnels and this one is at least 4Xs as long as others. read more

I've been a customer for over 7 months since the grand opening and have been absolutely annoyed by the service lately. Every time I go for a wash I leave with more and more scratches on the paint of my car. Mind you, my car is black so its much easier to see than on a white vehicle. Recently the attendant who helps you get onto the tracks wasn't paying attention and was on his phone until I got to the track where i was a little too far left and heard metal hit my car. When I got to a coffee shop down the street I noticed a crack up the entire driver side which needed to be replaced for $500 on a deductible. I didn't even bother bringing it up as Im sure they have some sign that says they are not responsible. BUT I will do everything in my power to make sure this car wash is shut down due to the other horrendous reviews and experiences like mine. P.S. As a heads up to everyone using this, they use a treadmill style track so there's no consistency like Fast 5 Xpress where there's a metal track that locks your vehicle to be 100% straight. There have been multiple times I have not been centered and could feel the heavy impact of the car wash machines. Like everyone else said, they will smack the f*ucking daylights out of your mirrors and bend them back every SINGLE time unless you close them. read more

Generally, I don't ever write bad reviews since I figure what's the point but this place needs to go down for how they disregarded my request to follow up about damage to my vehicle. This was the second time my vehicle had damage. The first time only the license plate in the front was bent a lot but I was able to take it off and bend it back without any permanent damage so I disregarded it yet showed it to the staff at the wash who said that they would make adjustments to the machine. After another half a dozen to dozen washes I had problems again. I'm attaching photos of the damage caused by one of the spinning brushes. I noticed the damage immediately upon parking to vacuum out my vehicle. It was clear that it happened at that moment since there was a big black mark in front of my vehicle and I recalled that it seemed like one of the brushes hit the front of the car hard during the wash and upon inspection of the front of the car I noticed the license plate was bent again. This time the license plate backing/mounting plate was cracked. There were scratches to my front black grill and there were black marks that looked like they also damaged the paint on my front fender. When I told the car wash staff about the damage a manager sent someone over to take a report. They sent some young kid over who didn't seem to be very advised as to how to take down a report and took no pictures, even though I asked if they should. I was told to follow up using a email. After several attempts to connect via email I stopped by the wash again and asked directly for the manager. Manager then told me a different email address and said the other address I was using was incorrect, even though I had triple checked that I had the correct spelling for it when I talked to the kid who took the initial report. The second email given directly by the manager, to whom I showed what I was using as the email address while typing it into my email and where he confirmed that it was correct, I again got no response. I canceled my monthly membership and I went to another car wash down Tustin Avenue that seems to be good. I'll upload the estimate I received for damages totaling over $2000, when I can find it and take a picture. I highly recommend avoiding this place due to the problems I experienced. read more

Working at a car wash for over 10 years I have a lot of experience in what makes a car wash successful and there are a few reasons why this wash is not as successful as it could be! First the many different employees that work here are not friendly at all! Except one of my old employees that works the weekends! Adrian was trained on customer service but everyone else never smiles or friendly at all! When bringing my truck through we never get a top brush due to the fact we have a low truck rack on the bed of the truck. Even when taking off the racks, they turn off the top brush! There are settings that can be made to only do the hood and windshield, it's called a truck bed retract. I would consider looking into training and just those 2 things would help keep business. I guess everyone has a different experience here but mine each time has been excellent. Got my car cleaned and dried with no issues. Very efficient vacuums and they have pressurized air to finish the job. I even left my driver mat and called a few days after and they let me stop by and check only to find my mat was there which was also a huge relief. So each to their own, I'll still be coming down and using their services. If I do have 1 complaint I just wish the tires and rims got some extra washing because they still had dirt on them. Nothing major since I can just clean them myself. read more

I guess, I thought I was being weird, but I see now, this place gets nothing but a bad wrap. .... First of all, the 2 young guys up front, were really cool. I went there night time. No issues with them. Half way through the wash though, I felt I got stuck. Even though, as instructed, I had it on Neutral, it wasn't going anywhere. The car in front of me, got out, but he was far ahead. I'm sitting there a couple of minutes,i trying to figure out if I should put the car into Drive, and move forward. All this time, I see this man, at the far end, staring at me, doing nothing..... So,.I put it in Drive. The car jumps, and starts moving forward. I put it back to neutral. I reach the guy at the end. It's an old Asian guy. I'm asking "was I doing something wrong?". He just waves at me, in discontent, to get out of the way. One of the rudest things, anyone's ever done to me as a customer.
