In 2021 I had several things replaced two toilets, two vanities, a kitchen sink, and a hot water heater. Needless to say, I spent a lot of money on one plumbing company. They failed, however, due to change one of the shut off valves, which I supplied for them And was laying right there. The technician also did not caulk the base of the toilet. They refused to come back and replace the one that was leaking. As a result, I had very high water bills and got a letter from the city about my high water consumption. Shortly after their mistake, I was injured and resulted in 80% blindness for 18 months. Please note that I called them immediately after and had an appointment scheduled. However, my injury occurred and I had to cancel. When I regained my vision, I called them to resume the process of them, returning to fix the one shut off valve I told them it could be at their convenience when they were in the area, they refused stating it was too long even though they acknowledged that I had called immediately after this is just downright fraudulent and neglectful do not use Orange plumbing ever unless you love paying very high water bills and literally throwing money right down the toilet. These were brand new toilets special ordered from Lowe's. They were working with brand, new fixtures and toilets. read more

I needed three things done: new valve cartridges in bathroom faucets, drain stopper reattached, and a new shower assembly installed. The shower was installed but couldn't replace cartridges because didn't have parts and tried to leave without reattaching the drain plug. Now I find that the second drain plug doesn't work because I suspect they used parts from there. Then when I wanted to pay by check they needed my driver's license number even though I had written checks to this company before. I will never call these people again and I recommend you don't either! read more

Avoid avoid avoid! I bought an under sink garbage disposal to replace the one that quit. I bought exactly the same make and model as the old one - ACE model 1000, so that the installation can be simple and easy. I was given a quote of $165 to do the work. Two men - young, possibly a trainee, and a much older one arrived. Worked for about hour and a half, broke something, tyhe replaced what they broke - a pipe and charged me $220. My under sink garbage disposal broke down. I bought exactly the same make and model - ACE model 1000 so that it's easy to replace it. Orange Plumbing quoted $165 and I agreed. Today 2 men arrived - one young, possibly a trainee, and one much older. They (I believe it was a trainee) broke one pipe while removing an old unit, replaced it with another plastic pipe, and charged me $55 over and above their quote, for a total of $220. That makes me a very unhappy customer of Orange Plumbing, and I feel I have a duty to warn customers in and around Titusville and Brevard County of Florida about this unprofessional and dishonest business. I checked Home Depot, their charge for a replacement of garbage disposal is $119. read more

My first encounter was with Scott. my hot and cold lines were reversed in my recently renovated house( bad contractor) and wanted the lines cleaned out. All I got was the hot and cold reversed. He was extremely overworked and had to rush away. Now my water heater is leaking! So, I called them again to look at THAT problem. I was told that I would be called back for appointment day and time. Noticed that I had a link under my kitchen sink that was coming out from under my house through the crawl space. Called this morning and they were at my house 2 hours later. My pipe coming up into the house had rusted out and was leaking. They cut the pipe out put a new pipe in and sealed around the pipe so no bugs could crawl up into the house. Steve D and Austin came out to my house 3 times in less than a week I have older pipes so water pressure was just going to be what it was. But he fixed my shower head and the valve to open all the way and fixed the shower head to give more pressure. Put all new valve in my toilet and cleaned out all the sand and dirt. Than my son flushed his undies down the toilet and they came back out a couple hours after I called since it was my only bathroom! They used 2 different snakes couldn't find it but I wanted a camera snake anyway and they came out the next morning at 8 to finish the job! They did amazing went above and beyond fast friendly and really treated me like I knew what I was talking about! Made an appointment last week for service on 10/17/22. Office said Scott would be there sometime Monday afternoon. I called at approx 3:30 pm and was informed we were not on the schedule. This is the second time this has happened. The last time was a few months ago. I called and spoke with either the owner/manager. They said same thing we were not on the schedule. Curious how we knew the name of the Tech who was supposed to come if we were not on the schedule. The person I spoke with I told her that the same thing happened with the office staff last few times. I was informed they have been to my house only once. I have three service calls to refute that. A little while ago I received a call from the office person we have spoken to (I am not using her name because her name is not important. She apologized and said it was "human error!" Bottom line is we have reached out to another company and will not use Orange Plumbing ever again! Save yourself some headache and don't use them! I guess I can't give it a half star which is wrong. Where do I begin? We had a "slab leak" and Orange was referred to us. One of the technicians was completely awesome. The other a little bit stuck up but seemed to know his stuff so gave him the benefit of the doubt. I don't know why he proceeded to tell me he makes his own schedule and let's dispatch knows what he is doing because it's causes a phone call saying they will be out Tuesday and doesn't show until Wednesday. Anyway they did a partial repipe to illuminate that part of leak and it cost over $1,700. I was under the impression they used great materials so requested a quote on repiping the whole house. This is where it goes downhill from here! The "president " came out to give us the quote. He was very arrogant and I did not like him at all. He acted like I was wasting his time and asking all the wrong questions. He said in master bath shower they would have to remove the toilet and do all sorts of things to my shower to get to water line. Anyway after only 9 days after the partial repipe we noticed another leak coming from same area and notified them immediately. They took their sweet time coming out and installed a valve outside where now I have to turn water on and off as we need it until this is done. We have had two other plumbing companies come out to give us a quote on full repiping and both companies have said they installed one of worse pvc pipes they have ever seen. They also stated that they would not be using their pipe at all! We also paid a cabinet guy to cut bottoms of our cabinet and now find out there was no need to run a pipe under there. So now that's over $2,000 I have spent in cabinet alterations and partial repipe that is no good. Not going to bother going to orange plumbing because I don't want to deal with the arrogance at all. I already know they don't care about their customers. I don't know if this helps anyone but when it comes to leaks and nightmares like them orange plumbing would never even be considered! When I think customer service, it isn't orange plumbing. Had to have water valves replaced, made an appointment a week in advance for 8am but the plumber didn't show up til 10:52am. The receptionist was super rude every single time I talked on the phone with her. She has an attitude even before I speak. I was told several times by two different people that the work of one person is $125 an hour (and $185 for two), but the receptionist was telling me I would be charged $135 an hour based off of the notes off the plumber, plus parts. She wouldn't let me talk to me the other people who told me a lower number, only the plumber himself. I confirmed several times with another woman before I did the job that it's $125 an hour and even wrote it down. I also didn't get many details on the thousand dollar job that was done for replacing a pipe. I wanted a breakdown, and I had to pry for even a couple bits of information. I was in between 2 and 3 stars, because in the end, (after asking), the job did get done, and in 6 hours instead of the quoted 8+, so I definitely appreciate that. However, I don't know who's running this place but I've had great experiences with many other companies, and it's disappointing that customer service is so unprofessional and they can't get their hourly charge straight. read more

I thought I had a leaking water heater, but wasn't sure. Called Orange and Mike came out to see what was up. I live in an older mobile home, so the plumbing is kinda crazy. Mike found a fitting that was leaking, fixed it, and only charged me for a service call. He advised me to keep an eye on it, just in case the water heater was actually the problem (again, older mobile home) and he'd come back out. Two thumbs up, I will call again if needed. Used Orange Plumbing to find a leak at my mom's house. She just had 3 very serious back surgeries and was in a lot of pain. When the workers left, my mom's pain medication went with them. I tried several times to contact the owner of Orange plumbing, but he never came to the phone or returned my calls. This is without a doubt a low class operation.
