They asked you for different level of massage you want and gave you a full body massage. This place was ok but not for me. Ladies are nice but massages are very painful. If you like very firm, masseuse walking on top of your back, stretching you and moving your body a certain way this your place. I like to relax and enjoy my massage. This was very painful and was soar for about a week and had bruises. Don't get me wrong there's people that love this place but for me it's not the right place. Again ladies are pleasant but one thing that they shouldn't do is not play very loud up beat music, while the room your in is playing relaxing music. If I could give this a 0 star.. I would. This is by far the worst massage and experience I've ever had. I requested a single room as I had booked an appt for myself and my husband. Yes, we were given separate rooms to begin with. I had the couples room to myself. To start off the massage, the lady continued to rub my back for a good 20 mins with towel on. Then when she finally decided to start massaging, she continued to just randomly massage straight down my spine (which hurt like hell). I mentioned the pressure was a bit much. Everytime I said it, she would chuckle! Seriously lady? Didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. Half way through my painful massage, they decided to bring someone in the couple rooms to SHARE with me. I specifically asked over the phone when I made the appt.. and again asked prior to starting my appt to be Alone! I work hard and wanted a relaxing and quite time to myself as I am paying for this service. If I wanted to share a room, I would of shared with my own husband! The person and masseuse next to me continued to chit chat for the remaining time. At this point, I wanted to walk out. As upon checking out and paying cash ($140) for both. I left a 15% tip for each masseuse. I normally believe in leaving 20%+ tip for good customer service when it's provided! The OWNER & MY ANNOYING MASSEUSE made a snarky comment about the tip! "that's it" with an eye roll! Well guess what guys.. If the service was actually done RIGHT, you would of gained two customers and great tips! Thanks guys.. I will definitely be NOT COMING BACK! I went to another massage place 2 days ago and asked for a deep tissue massage, but instead got a very soft and relaxing massage. So even after that, my upper back was still in pain. Today I decided to try Orange Thai Massage, and I love this place! The staff was very friendly and Lilly did an excellent job. I told her my upper back was hurting, so she spent the majority of the time massaging my back and working the knots out. She also told me that my back muscles were very tight, which is why she spent most of the time working my back. I feel much better after this massage and I'll definitely be coming back here. I've been to multiple places around Orange County and out of state-Chinese reflexology, glen ivy, massage envy ... and other Thai massage establishments. I have not found a masseuse like her. I've been here a few times and half the time I get pretty good massages. Other half, I do not at all. Some of them are very good at what they do. The other half do not care at all. One of them named nu or something similar to that was very unprofessional. She comes in. Asks if I want to be stepped on. I said sure. She jumps on my back. Her feet are very crusty. And just rubs hard against my skin. I can feel my back ripping from her dried feet skin. And she goes up ward motion on sides of my upper back pointing towards my face. So half the time her toes are 1 cm from my eyes and ears. Then she continues massage with absolutely no oil and tears my skin apart. Then she gets off, puts an ocean load of oil on my back which drips down everywhere. It went right next to. My eyes, tables... everywhere. I honestly have it my all to try to see if she can recover her massage but it was so bad that I told her "I'm done". I only gave more stars because the other massage therapists were good read more

It's been a while since I've had a massage, and on a whim I decided to yelp a place near my work. Orange Thai Massage had great reviews, and located off Chapman and Main, in the same plaza as the old "Fresh n Easy", across from Starbucks and Jimmy John's. They charge $50 for a one hour massage, and when I arrived on a Monday night, they were able to accommodate me at 5:15 pm. I thought I was going to get a Thai massage, but Sena suggested a combination one, since I told her my neck was in knots and my feet were killing me. She started me face down, and really worked my feet using her knuckles, elbow and any other part of her 5-foot frame. This tiny woman made Mike Tyson look like a sissy. She gave my feet the kneeding it well, needed, and then worked my neck and upper back. Only once did I say "OUCH" because the pain was too much, and she immediately changed the pressure. Did it hurt? yes, but I really expected it to. I spent most of my time face down, and the massage took a long time. I really thought she spent over an hour, so when she flipped me I really thought it was a 90-minute massage. She worked me on my back, stretched me like a piece of dough. By the time she was done I opened my eyes and lo and behold it was only an hour. I can only imagine how a 90-minute massage would feel! So why not a 5 star? I'm going to give them one more try before assessing this visit is truly a 5 star experience... but it's very close. Ask for Sena... she's off on Sundays. read more

Massage is good but cheap oils ripped towels and super dirty sheets check it before you touch it they dont change them everytime so if you decide to go to this place either brimg your own sheets or make them change it and they are not cheap place for them to be such a dirty place. I called up Orange Thai Massage around 11:45 asking for a 12:30 appointment for a 90 min massage. I arrived a few minutes late (oops) and they were kind and escorted me back to a private room to undress. A moment later Mo arrived - and the next 90 minutes flew by as I was in a state of relaxation and moments of that "good" type of pain where you know she has to dig a little deeper because there's something in there that needs addressed. She checked in on pressure preference before starting and multiple times without. She asked if it was okay for her to walk on me and I said yes. When she got to my legs it was a little too much pressure for me and she quickly adjusted to using her hands with total understanding. This was my first visit to this establishment. I am new to the area and was in need of a professional massage after my wife's 5-minute massages weren't getting it. Her carpel tunnel kicks in, and im still in a knot. So I went to Yelp, with MY WIFE'S blessing, of course, and found Orange Thai massage to have the best reviews. It was only 5 minutes from the house so I tried it. Hands down the best massage I've ever had. However, this was my 1st Thai style massage, and maybe that technique works best for me??? I've had all types from deep tissue to relaxation to sports to hot stones on the beach on the cruise, different vacation spots, and I got some stamps on my passport. I love Thai massages because I find them to be more effective than a Swedish massage, but the trade-off is that it can be less relaxing. Orange Thai Massage is the closest Thai Massage option by my office and they are actually located right next to my eyebrow threading spot. Upon walking in I was a bit confused because the receptionist was tucked into a room. I am pretty sure the prior business was a business of some sort, because the massage room even looked like a dinky old small office that has been converted. Without asking which service I wanted or the duration of service, I was rushed into a massage room with an outdated massage table. Not a great impression, this place can use a major upgrade to their tables, sheets, pillows and so on. Also when it comes to Thai massages, I prefer Thai Massage beds over Massage tables for better twists. So I reluctantly proceeded for my service, which ended up being a 60 minute Thai Massage ($60). My masseuse, Sena, was very sweet and timid. She thanked me multiple times for coming in. The massage started off face down and Sena knew were all of my knots were in my back. She is very intuitive with great technique. She checked on me a good amount of times throughout the massage to make sure that the pressure was good. Sena was wonderful and the massage was great but the ambiance has much to improve. On one hand, Orange Thai Massage is conveniently located near my office and Sena is great. But on the other hand, I can get a more relaxing experience at another massage place for about the same prices. I would probably come back if I felt shoulder, neck and/or back pains after work and I needed a quick massage, but until the owner upgrades... everything... this is definitely far from being my first choice. read more

Wow! First time ever @ getting a Thai massage. Called @ 1:30, got in @ 2pm. Started with a 30 minute foot massage....then asked if she would make it a full hour on the rest of my body. Emma is wonderful! Absolutely loved the "stretching" part and the pressure used, which Emma asked if it was enough quite often throughout the session. The entire space was clean, and inviting.
