Customer service super sucks, I know they bias & racist came in polite. Had to seat myself, the waitress looking like a swollen bettle bug giving uncomfortable unnecessary attitude for no reason. Asked can I use the restroom to wash hands before meal & just unnecessary attitude. Then she went into I don't speak English format, when I'm looking at her speak fluent English to the white customers. After I sat and waited for 30 mins for 2 coney dogs & fry that they promote & swear they specialize in. I never received the food of anymore service. I just knew I wasn't going to get served service, food and after all that unnecessary attitude that I did not speak upon. I didn't trust the food at that point. I just got up & left. Never spend your money where you not respected as a customer because last time I remember monies are green, silver, gold & brown. So I knew Racism, Bias & more than likely some sort of prejudice & discrimination was in the atmosphere so I left because why would I, should I trust the food at that point. If you spend your money there your choice, but I would never spend my monies know where I'm not celebrated & barely tolerated as a customer. 1st & last time & worst experience ever reminds me of them 1900-1968 articles I read about. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS FAMILY RESTAURANT,

a plate of bacon and a spoon

This place is awful. All the tables are dirty. Had to ask someone to take our order. Got our food, my dads eggs were raw in his omelette, there was a hair on my waffle, and my bacon wasn't even burnt it was just black. After my dad and I were served they told my mom they didn't have what she wanted. Awful.

A chicken salad melt is not only a hard menu item to find... but the quality is a task all it's own. Bottom line absolutely delicious friendly staff. Environment is clean food is wonderful. Hidden gem very hidden gem

Either clean the bottle or better yet throw it out and start new. The expiration date was July 5, 2017. It's September 2018.

This is your typical family dining. The menu is extensive. The portions are large. You get your food pretty quickly. The food average fare. They do NOT understand crispy fries. They have daily specials which are also extensive. The ambiance is average. The waitstaff is average. Only thing that was disgusting was the mustard bottle. I know most restaurants refill their bottles, but how about actually cleaning them? Gross!

it was good. But no bacon next time? Thanks.

I hate to be this person. But I was taken here for lunch by a family friend I was helping move. Going in, I knew there wouldn't be many options for me and my plant based diet, so I looked at the menu and figured veggie stir fry was safe. I asked if there were any animal products in it, like if it was cooked in chicken broth or anything, and the waitress got an attitude with me and said "no." So I ordered it. It came to the table, and was delicious, until halfway through I saw none other than bacon bits. Yup. There were so few of them too, that it led me to believe she asked the cook to put them in there on purpose because of my "annoying" order. I decided since I was already halfway done, I'd continue, because what'd it matter then? Other than that the stir fry was delicious but I can't help but think of those who might not eat bacon for religious reasons!

Where the hell is the turkey????

Heavy with salt. If you're on a low salt or salt free diet, don't go here. Service was good, but coins don't know what the meals include.

There is a reason the prices are so low. The food is not good. The waiter was rude as well. The elderly lady named Judy was funny though.

Alkabeer When we…read morewent there was no customers. We went on a Saturday afternoon. Maybe most of their customers come during the weekdays. Nice decor, clean. This kind of setup is common among new shops. Sofa. Games. Tv. A photo chair. Nice and welcoming. When we came in, the workers were training. Maybe a bad time, but once customers come in, the training should stop. We were not even greeted with a "Hello". The items in the window display was not even priced. I had to ask. The workers were very young, so maybe they were a little shy. Either way, we did not feel welcome or helped. The feeling was more of "leave us alone ". Remember, this place was empty. My wife had high hopes. We traveled over 30min away and this was the treatment we got. A smile goes a long way. Recommended

The Good: The atmosphere is quite pleasant, and the establishment itself has a nice vibe. We ordered several lattes and tried the rolled ice cream; both were actually pretty good and met our expectations for a quality treat. The Bad: Unfortunately, the experience was soured by a very rigid and, frankly, off-putting service policy. After finishing our round of lattes and and ice cream, my wife asked for a simple cup of water. We were told that they are prohibited from giving out cups of water and were instead directed to purchase overpriced bottled water. The Verdict: While I understand a business needing to manage costs, refusing a basic cup of water to a paying customer feels like a poor way to build loyalty. It turned a nice family outing into a disappointing experience. Instead of feeling like a valued guest, it felt as though we were just wallets to be exploited. It is a shame because the products were good, but this encounter left such a bad taste that I doubt we will be returning.

I could see meeting a friend for coffee or getting some remote work done here. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly and everyone who helped us was friendly. Even though they offer a lot of fun beverages, I ended up going with a plain latte because I don't prefer sugary drinks but the latte was very good! I also got the spinach feta croissant and it was delicious - definitely recommend. My sister got the tiramisu latte, which she also loved. They have a pretty big pastry case with many yummy desserts that I will be checking out next time. Prices seemed a tad high, especially for the specialty drinks, but what isn't expensive these days? All in all, a really nice addition to Partridge Creek.

The business is tucked away in a strip mall sitting around the corner from the main road and is not readily obvious from the main road where you almost purposely have to be looking for it to see it. The business as mentioned in other reviews defiantately has the look and vibe of the rustic little touristy stores you see up north where I assume this is exactly what they are trying to achieve and makes this business a fun place to peruse. As the desire for a good cup of coffee is what brought me here, I ended up getting a cup of their medium roast Ethiopian coffee where the beans are roasted in house. my coffee was full bodied, nicely balanced with no harsh notes and quite tasty. An excellent cup of Joe at a very fair price of $3 for a large cup. Nice! One of the gals who worked there told me that if I liked that coffee than I would really like"Grunting Buck" medium roast where I purchased a 16 Oz whole bean bag for $16, Great price for any specialty coffee but one that was just fresh roasted is an amazing deal in my mind. For a small shop that has a lot of character there is a lot to look at and see here which is part of the interesting experience of shopping here. Staff is super friendly as they greet you as you walk in and offer assistance, if required, and then gives you space to shop at your own pace. Lastly there is a hot made to order food menu for breakfast and lunch to go along with their Barista operation. All in all, a superior small business that promotes made in Michigan that needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. Five stars in my book!

I came on an off day so the place was closed. It looked small but I decided to come back the next weekend and check it out but they put out a sign saying closed : Out Hunting. Determined I came back for a 3rd attempt and boy am I glad I did! Inside it is much larger than the outside would make you to believe. There is so much to look at and consider purchasing. The best part is it is all high-quality Michigan-made! Also, bonus is that for your first visit you are treated to a free cup of fresh brewed coffee; I loved mine. I got a delicious chocolate/caramel candy bar from the U.P., some craft beer for when my friends visit and some locally harvested honey for my biscuits and tea. Score! There is art work all over the walls. I was amazed at the size of the stuffed turkey - it was massive. If you are into hunting, well look no more. There are gifts galore for the hunter in your life. I saw knives, deer scent spray, apparel, jerky, you name it, they have it. You can't help but feel proud to be a Michigander after visiting this shop.
