Our experience was a bit disappointing. Our server didn't check on us after bringing out our food, which would have been a nice touch. I ordered the club sandwich and asked for it without ham based on the menu description, but our server mentioned they don't actually include ham -- so it might be worth updating the menu to avoid any confusion. This place used to be a sweet little hole-in-the-wall with good food, and there's clearly a foundation worth building on. We hope to see it return to its former self, but for now we likely won't be heading back. read more

The food is decent! That's not my complaint, my issue is the server with the black hair. Unfortunately I don't know her name, but every time I come in she's RUDE! Today (April 14,2026) I walked in and she said ABSOLUTELY nothing! I was just standing in front of the register. I don't know what happened, but NO CUSTOMER deserves that treatment when my money is being spent. If it wasn't for the nice older lady I wouldn't had been helped. You'll always have a great meal here with the food quality, service, and steady prices. I've never seen a piece of trash on the floor more than a toothpick that someone cashing out dropped. Bathrooms are always super clean and even for a single person bathroom it's very rarely taken when ya gotta go. Me and my gramma went today and ordered a Gyro and fries for me and a chicken fajita wrap for her. Best gyro I've had in a long time and the sauce was very very good! Nice family restaurant. The food is always fresh and tastes almost like "mom's". The service is quick. Our family enjoys meeting here for a quick bite. I have yet to get anything bad. My husband and I eat here a couple of times a week (or carry out). I love the chicken lemon rice soup. I believe it is the BEST around. I've tried it at other restaurants and I usually am disappointed and I send it back! My husband is big breakfast person. He likes the Super Breakfast with all ham as his meat choice. Also the catfish is good and the Chicken stir fry. There are several other yummy meal choices. OH! I almost forgot--- the lasagna is good and it's a large serving, enough for 2 people or 2 meal sl. Amazing place that you would never think to stop at because it's right next to/embedded in a gas station strip mall location. Right off 696/Ryan Rd/11Mile. But don't just drive by. Been going here for over 12 years and have never had a bad meal experience. I take that back. I had fried chicken that I didn't really care for but that is the only thing. Personal preference. Takeout is the best also. If you like vegetable omelettes, this is the place to get one; order the pancakes instead of the hashbrowns lol, you can't go wrong here. The servers all work well together and help each other which helps you. If you want to feel like you are in a familiar place and not in a stuffy, overblown, overpriced place, then give it a try. I have food allergies. I ordered my food the way I can eat it, it came out wrong so I sent it back and when they returned with the my food they had simply scraped the part off I couldn't have and sent it back. I bit into it and could taste what they scraped off resulting in me becoming ill. I gave it approximately 2 years went back and they did the exact same thing. read more

The food is dynamite here! My mom usually brings home their stir fry leftovers and the flavors are so unique and perfectly salty! Finally able to get out here in person and the service is excellent! The food is very quick to come out and our tea/coffee was piping hot! The apple pancakes were melt in your mouth, like eating an apple cake fresh from the oven! The turkey sausage has a great flavor and the eggs were cooked perfectly over-easy as requested. Very cozy restaurant, makes you feel at home. Everything is homemade in the best way! read more

A hidden little gem in a gas station! The building actually houses a gas station, this restaurant, and a Doughnut shop. It is clean and a notch above your typical diner. I come here for their savory crepes. They are fantastic! In fact, all their breakfast food is great! Service is always friendly and prompt. I have never come here for lunch or dinner, so cannot comment on their other food, but their savory Greek crepe is a must try! read more

I had this place bookmarked for a while, but never came down 11 mile. My coworker said she loved this place so I decided to tag along today for lunch. When I walked in, the place was newly renovated and really clean. It's connected to a gas station so it was a big surprise to find the place looking really nice! Our server was friendly and attentive. The daily specials looked delicious. The real winner here is apparently the Dill Pickle soup made from scratch. It's available on Wednesday's and sells out quick, so I'll have to come back. If you want to try their soups, they'll give you a sample, but the chicken lemon rice soup is a real winner and so is the stuffed pepper soup. I decided on the gyro plate with rice. The portion was generous, the plate was huge and I was full and happy waddling my way out. The Reuben Quesadilla was part of the special today and my coworker was on cloud 9 while I was trying to sneak a chunk off her plate. The food comes out pretty quickly, and the price point is perfect. All in all a great place to eat, it's receive great reviews for good reasons. Fresh food with infinite options to choose from, huge portions and excellent service. You will not be disappointed! I had the best Greek salad I've ever had outside of Greece, my mom's crispy fried golden chicken was better than Colonel Sanders, my daughter's burger was the size of my face, my husband's egg skillet was gone in approximately 10 seconds and my son's Mickey Mouse pancakes were fluffier than a cloud. Went in the other night an hour before closing and the staff was doing closing duties (which is fine, no harm there) however, the server looked highly upset to even see us walk in because the restaurant was close to empty. I felt a sense of being very unwanted. When the server approached our table she was less than friendly, and rolled her eyes at us several times to the point that was it more than obvious we weren't wanted there. When serving our food she was very cold, I would say thank you and she would not reply and walk away. It just felt very awful to feel like a burden. I could see if it were 15 minutes to closing maybe. It left a bad feeling with me and I don't think I will be back because of it. A few weeks ago I called in a to go order 30 minutes before closing and the server on the phone told me "we can't take your order if you can't be here in 15 minutes" I was stunned. I understand wanting to get out of work on time but I was in no way interfering with that. I just wanted a quick carry out. The night staff here needs to do better with how they treat customers coming in. I will not be back here. read more

The service was great and my son inhaled his breakfast and enjoyed watching all of the cars and trucks drive by. Sorry to say, For the first time I saw this place treat its customers so poorly. The lady who served us made me feel like an unwanted guest. She is ignoring us the whole time. food wasn't good at all I told her she said sorry for that with the fake attitude. I understand you are sort on help but that doesn't mean you acting that way . Even After I pay my bills she charges me and walk away. I need to sign the receipt she don't even bother to give me a pen or even asking me if I need a copy of my receipt. I waited few minutes then I have to walk away without sing and paying any tip to her. Not because I do not want to tip her cause I do not have time, I have a job to go to. I've lived in the area for several years, and regret not having checked this place out sooner. Yeah, it's attached to a gas station, but don't let that deter you. It's typical diner/coney island food, but they do it well. The place appears clean, there's an open kitchen, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I LOVE the cinnamon French toast; can't get enough of it. Coffee is good and hot. My husband likes the burger and fries. He said the coneys are just ok (to put it kindly). He's kind of spoiled in the coney department, but it was enough to lose 1 star since "coney" is in the name. Reasonable prices. Overall, I highly recommend. read more

Stopped in on a whim. It's deceiving because it's in a gas station with other shops but I was pleasantly surprised at the nice atmosphere and the very prompt service. Waitress was eager to give me exactly what I wanted and took a special order and the coffee kept coming fresh and hot. The omelette was outstanding and perfectly cooked. Bacon worth the price. This is a great family restaurant that I have visited on more than one occasion. The restaurant is CLEAN, the owners are often there and come to speak to everyone. They have a great amount of pride in their place. The only unfortunate part is that they are plagued by bad help on occasion, but that's probably par for the course. Soups are great, love the breakfast, fish Fridays are really good, and the service is friendly. If you want the best experience you have to ask for Nicole. A waitress that knows her stuff and will take great care of you. This restaurant is a great local find where you will get good food, reasonable prices, friendly service, and everybody wants to know your name. Great place, but avoid Friday and Sunday. I was with a guest on Friday and this older group of people were obviously drunk. They were loud and obnoxious. You could smell the booze a table away. Then, a homeless guy with a backpack and empty beer cans sat in the other table. He was mad that they were out of clam chowder and he left, empty 40's and all. Sunday was a zoo thanks to the church crowd. Almost impossible to get a table. We got lucky. Food is good but please please put a napkin under the soup bowls. I've had two different waitresses spill soup on the table because they can't set it down without it sliding on the saucer and spilling everywhere. Last time it burned my hand. I prefer to eat their delicious soup, not wear it. Aside from that, the place is clean and the food is great, especially for being built into a dunkin doughnuts and a gas station. A gem. I live right around the corner & was really excited to have a walkable diner style restaurant within walking distance from my house, but sad to say this WON'T be it. Very slow service, never recieved the water I ordered because they ran out of cups... odd. 3 different woman came by the table throughout the visit, but I couldn't get a refill on coffee to save my life. I had to walk up to the counter to get my coffee refilled and then was greeted with rolling eyes. This was a Saturday morning, I get that you're busy, but bring a coffee pot around once in a while. Food was really good, but not enough to justify the slow & rude service. This was the 2nd time visiting & similar experience each time. NOPE - WILL NOT BE BACK. read more

Have you ever woken up craving something to eat? That's what happened to me...I wanted a hearty breakfast skillet... you know the one with hash brown potatoes, sausage, onions, pepper, covered with gravy and topped with two eggs!? So I ordered the Country Skillet Breakfast. The coffee here is very GOOD! I'm not going to lie...as the waitress served my meal in a brown ceramic skillet with my side of toast, I felt disappointed...it didn't look very big. But...looks are deceiving! As I began to ENJOY my meal, there was MORE than imagined!! Just the right amount of EVERYTHING...fresh homemade hash brown potatoes like my mother used to make. Just enough gravy, but now overwhelming. And it tasted GREAT! My waitress was sincerely nice and ATTENTIVE!! I wish I would have asked her name... next time! Because I'll definitely be going back!! I've been told they have really good Polish food too. I'll soon find out, because I took the Take-Out menu.
