Maybe a bad time, but once customers come in, the training should stop. We were not even greeted with a "Hello". The items in the window display was not even priced. I had to ask. The workers were very young, so maybe they were a little shy. Either way, we did not feel welcome or helped. The feeling was more of "leave us alone ". Remember, this place was empty. Staff is super friendly as they greet you as you walk in and offer assistance, if required, and then gives you space to shop at your own pace. Determined I came back for a 3rd attempt and boy am I glad I did! Inside it is much larger than the outside would make you to believe. There is so much to look at and consider purchasing. The best part is it is all high-quality Michigan-made! Also, bonus is that for your first visit you are treated to a free cup of fresh brewed coffee; I loved mine. I got a delicious chocolate/caramel candy bar from the U.P., some craft beer for when my friends visit and some locally harvested honey for my biscuits and tea. Score! There is art work all over the walls. I was amazed at the size of the stuffed turkey - it was massive. If you are into hunting, well look no more. There are gifts galore for the hunter in your life.
