I wasn't able to try anything. The line was taking too long. Wasn't that long either. They have the same self served ice cream as orange leaf. They also had Iraqi type sweets such as Baklava and pistachio cake. They also have coffee, tea, and boba drinks.

I honestly thought that it would come with middle eastern hummus, but I guess not haha. Perhaps that slight tweak+ added ingredient to the veggie pita could enhance the taste even more! Nonetheless, when I happen to revisit michigan, perhaps I'll find my way back to this spot!

I got a chicken and cheese omelette with hashbrowns and pancakes -- so essentially, 3 meals! I ordered hot tea and they served it with the whole honey bear and lemon, which was nice. My sister had a Belgian waffle with apple cinnamon topping, but no sugar or whipped cream, and our other friend had the breakfast all day. The service was friendly. I thought the food was good but not outstanding. But I will absolutely come here again if I want breakfast. There was a problem when we were leaving, though. My sister and I were splitting the bill on our credit cards, and the cashier couldn't figure out how to make it come out half and half (she ended up charging one of us $3 more than the other), and when we told her that we were seniors (there's a BIG sign on their window that they offer senior discounts), she completely ignored what we said and made some comment about confusing her.

My boyfriends apple pancake came out a little burnt, but we aren't complainers so we didn't care. Teri saw the burnt pancake, came up to us and took it off our bill AND gave us another one on the house. she was seriously so amazing, we will be asking for her every single time we come back. The food is always amazing when we go, just this time it was a little busy so we are sure that is the reason the pancake was a little burnt. The atmosphere is so cute in there too, we just love going there as a couple! Seriously, if you want everything to be amazing, get Teri. We have had her twice now and just adore her to pieces! This girl deserves a RAISE!!!

I actually pulled into the parking lot to check out the yelp reviews and saw that this Le Andos Cafe was in the parking lot. I pulled into and had really good reviews so that's how we ended up at this restaurant. The inside of this restaurant is small with only a few tables and booths. The waitress that immediately came to get our beverage order was so pleasant and sweet that we knew we were gonna have a very good experience here. We were right and she was sweet and right on top of the service and everything was great. I got what was called a green machine omelette that was absolutely delicious and my friend got a meat eaters omelette. My friend doesn't particularly like regular hashbrowns, but he did eat those and we both probably would go back there again if we were out that direction.

This place came up since it was en route to where I was going and not to far out of the way for me. I wanted a hearty breakfast, so I stopped in and got seated. It's not very big in here and seating's limited to 4 tops. The menu actually has a nice variety of breakfast and lunch items to choose from, so I went with the gyro omelet with hash browns. Food came out quickly, and my server was nice and super friendly. The portions are huge and the omelet itself was only $12.50. Overall not a bad experience, and I would return in the future. Willing to stop in for lunch one time.

The city was bustling with people, and I was pleasantly surprised by how gorgeous the downtown area was. The café had a vibrant, energetic atmosphere that perfectly matched the excitement of the city. Our server was absolutely amazing and made excellent recommendations. The portions were generous, and the food was delicious. Based on the recommendation, I ordered the corned beef hash with the cinnamon pancakes, and both were fantastic. Next time, I definitely want to try the red velvet pancakes! My friend ordered the Triple Triple Omelette with the original buttermilk pancakes, and we both chose the cheesy grits. The cheesy grits were very creamy, though I would recommend adding a little more butter to enhance the flavor. That was really my only critique. The restaurant was busy, but after dining there, I completely understand why. Despite the crowd, we were greeted immediately, and the service was prompt throughout our visit. Overall, Hudson Café delivered great food, outstanding service, generous portions, and a fun atmosphere. I will most certainly be back the next time I'm in downtown Detroit!

I imagine a reservation is a must for a weekend. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating, and drinks and food came out quickly. I appreciate they have espresso drinks, and ordered the chai latte but it was a little too sweet for me - I'd go with a plain latte next time. I also think I may have ordered the wrong dish because my mom got an omelette with pancakes on the side and enjoyed it. I gambled with the huevos rancheros but they were just ok. I wish the potatoes were more seasoned. You definitely get a huge portion for whatever you order so expect to split with someone or have leftovers. All in all, a solid brunch spot but not a favorite.
