I drove the big bus for the school for this event today. I didn't take any photos of the park due to the kids; wouldn't be appropriate! If you want to see photos how things are setup look on their website. * Love how the kids water area is setup! They have a lot of large umbrellas set up all around to sit under. They also have a lazy river and large pool. Every one had a great time today! This is definitely a great place for families for the day. The lazy river is short but nice. The season pass options seemed decent. Food inside is rather overpriced and food allergies can't be accommodated. That said, plenty of chair to choose from, if you're willing to cross the lazy river by foot you can set up your things in the middle of the lazy river and enjoy a bit quieter of an area. They have this pool moderately warm 82 degrees or so so I'm able to swim my laps. There is sometimes swim team or lessons going on but they do not use all the lanes so I've been able to swim every time I've gone in my own lane.

We asked for red sangria, and the bar tender told us to try the bar upstairs because she would have to make it and "it would be a little bit" before she could make the drinks. We tried upstairs and they didn't have it either. We came back down and told her they didn't have it either, she told us she would make it for us. She made her version of sangria. Which wasn't too bad. But we seemed to be an inconvenience overall. I don't really have a desire to return to this bar.

It's a cute location in a cute area; it had such a fun, authentic vibe outside and in. We came in and wanted to get straight to bowling, and the staff member who set us up was helpful and friendly. The alley area is pretty small, as it's only four lanes. But while I'm sure that could be a disappointment on a crowded night, we found the small size to be conducive to chatting with each other as we played. It's definitely different from standard bowling: you don't wear bowling shoes, the pins are attached to strings that pull them up (as opposed to freestanding pins at a standard alley), and you use smaller, hole-free balls. You also get three throws per frame as opposed to two. I'm not good at bowling, and I'm -- so far -- not good at the duck pin variant. But I didn't find it frustrating, just fun to learn and play! I managed no strikes and a whopping one spare, although I did find the advice posted on the walls helped me get a bit better. I think there is a type of person (someone who takes bowling seriously, or maybe too seriously) who wouldn't enjoy this, but it's really entertaining if you can go in with a good mindset. And not having to find shoes or bowling balls that fit is a huge plus. As far as timing, it took us about an hour and 15 minutes to play two full games; we didn't rush, but we didn't daddle, either. They charge by the hour or half hour, and we paid for our first hour then added a half hour to finish out a second game. A couple who came in about halfway through our visit managed to just squeeze in 10 frames in 30 minutes. We didn't explore the (intriguing) upstairs area, but I did get a fabulous drink -- the Saturn -- at the bar. While I felt like the bowling was a little pricey (not unreasonably priced, to be clear, just something I couldn't afford quite as often), I was surprised at the great value of the drink. Plus, it was delicious -- super well-balanced -- and the bartender was lovely. Even outside of the bowling fun, I could see this being a regular hangout for me if I lived in the area. But even though it's more than an hour from home for me, I'll absolutely take family and friends up to visit when I can. It's an awesome place to have in the region.

The lanes were reserved, we set kids (up to 10 for basic cost) up on lanes. Bowled for a bit with drinks set out and our party advisor asking what we needed. Really, our assigned party person was great! Then there was pizza from their kitchen and cake! We chose the cupcake cake which tasting it was from Holloway. Great experience and planning for next kid's birthday!

It is known locally as the shark tooth beach because locals find quite a few here. My family and I found just 1 after a weekend of looking, but got a lot of shells I will be using for art. Memorial benches are set for visitors to sit and watch the sea as well as sunrises.

The charm and overall scene is decent enough, no argument. What is so unfortunate is the town government apparently recently (2026) made all public parking a pay scheme generator. Sad. A total sell-out and a clear signal that they don't value and want to attract tourists- they see tourists as suckers to inflate their town bottom line It's not nice enough to justify that. IMO few things are unless you are a world class tourist site or located within a major population center. Instead, do the nearby Amelia Island Plantation. Stunning! We do value the nearby Amelia Island Plantation area and the outstanding resorts of the Omni or Ritz Carlton. But Fernandina Beach is just something to not support as its intentions are sorely misplaced
