Once they found the situation, they promptly fixed it, charged a few bucks even lower than what I was quoted, and we were on our way! The stress from giving weeks of time and money to other shops who couldn't actually fix the problem and didn't listen or care about getting me back on the road safely...it all immediately went away with my excellent service at Silverdale Autoworks. I needed it to be attached firmly to the frame of the truck, not just to the sheet metal of the bed, which would not be strong enough to lift the generator without damaging the truck. Aaron responded promptly when called. He took his time trouble-shooting various possible solutions, and came up with a simple, inexpensive plan. He returned today and did the job in a couple of hours, including welding, and then stuck around and assisted me in load testing of the crane. Crane works and stows beautifully. SO, Aaron did not only did excellent work, but brainstormed with me for a solution unique to my circumstances. I will be hiring Aaron again soon for some other projects, he was very easy to work with, and stayed within his estimate which was reasonable to begin with.

Justin is another mechanic who works here. He is also knowledgeable, friendly, determined, and will go the extra mile! Alan works here too and is always kind and wanting to help out. I have had my vehicle serviced here several times now and have always been pleased all in all. There is a coffee table as you walk in, offered to all customers. They have a bathroom if needed. I tend to prefer to hang out while my vehicle gets worked on, as I feel so comfortable and welcome. I am able to catch up on emails or watch tv while I'm here. Oh and they can also do a thorough check up on your vehicle and give you an estimate on how much things will cost so that you can get what you need done in order of most urgency/preference first!
