Total rip-off. Do not take your car here. No upfront paperwork, lies constantly, doesn't keep promises or deadlines and avoids calls.

But on a recent visit as we were leaving, my husband asked a question about the store to the lady checking our receipt. She was a sweet Filipino lady. She did not know the answer but convincingly told us she would have the answer next time we came. She had no idea when that would be. About 5 days later we stopped in for a couple of things and there she was again at the door. My husband smiled and said, hey! And asked the question again. She got really excited she saw him and said she'd been waiting for us. She pulled a sticky note out of her pocket and had the answer for him. She didn't have to do that. She had no idea when we'd be back. She put that note in her pocket every day hoping she would see us. I just wanted to hug her. Her name is Amy and she definitely went above and beyond what she needed too. I now have a favorite employee!!

They tend to avoid eye contact, quickly confirm medications, and rarely offer guidance unless asked directly. As a nurse, I completely understand that healthcare workers experience fatigue and burnout, and I certainly don't expect perfection. However, when approaching the counter or calling on the phone, customers just want to be acknowledged and treated with respect--not rushed or made to feel like a burden. I appreciate the vital role the pharmacy team plays, but I hope the Silverdale Costco pharmacy techs can find ways to serve customers with a bit more warmth and compassion moving forward. A little kindness goes a long way.

I can't say enough. Howard is super friendly, knowledgeable, professional, thorough , HONEST and will always do whatever he can to save you money and get your vehicle back on the road asap. DJ (David) is a super talented mechanic. I had the pleasure of meeting him the last time I came in, a few days ago. His abundance of knowledge in his field is truly impressive. Justin is another mechanic who works here. He is also knowledgeable, friendly, determined, and will go the extra mile! Alan works here too and is always kind and wanting to help out. I have had my vehicle serviced here several times now and have always been pleased all in all. There is a coffee table as you walk in, offered to all customers. They have a bathroom if needed. I tend to prefer to hang out while my vehicle gets worked on, as I feel so comfortable and welcome. I am able to catch up on emails or watch tv while I'm here. Oh and they can also do a thorough check up on your vehicle and give you an estimate on how much things will cost so that you can get what you need done in order of most urgency/preference first! It's very helpful! Meineke has a 0% no interest offer through a partner, Synchrony Bank, that is always available. I have been told the offer is 0% interest for 6 months if you spend $499+ on the Synchrony credit card or else 12 months if spending $750+. I Highly recommend this auto shop!!

But I'd rather go somewhere else where they give you better information on the simple stats of your car. While changing my oil they told me about needing another service but had no intention of elaborating while checking out. During check out I was informed I would get an email/invoice explaining recommended work. What is it that you see where you are recommending a $140 service that you said is done at 15-20k miles? I just purchased the vehicle at 45k. But lack of why and what you see is why I hesitate. The waiting room had plentiful seating in front of a TV playing classic black and white shows plus a counter that likely used to have a coffee machine. Perhaps it can be a customer work space? But also doesn't compare to another spot that has an area for kids to play and coffee to order from thier espresso machine. (Paid) Overall it's more so about having to dig for information. If its as simple as a blinker, fuse, or cabin air filter I can do that myself. I'll be having my vehicle as well as my husband's serviced elsewhere.

Paid Diagnostic Not Done - Silverdale Firestone…read more I went to Firestone Silverdale (Store #006548) for an appointment to have a diagnostic done on known engine fault codes explained prior at the appointment setting. I paid for the service, but no diagnostic was performed, and I waited about 7 hours with no contact from the store. I had to call them myself to find out what was happening. They suggested unrelated repairs costing multiple thousands and did not provide any diagnostic info about the codes. When asked about the diagnostic they informed me take the car to dealership to fix the known code issue and provided zero diagnostic information for the codes. But they still wanted to do all the unrelated repairs costing multiple thousands. My recent dealer check indicates those services where not needed. Up sale for the Firestone Card to get discounts which some services are still overpriced. This wasted a lot of time and delayed solving the problem. I do not recommend this location.

That wasn't going to do so I called around and sure enough Sears was going to be the soonest to get me in without an appointment and I could just shop in the mall while I waited. So I showed up and I tell the guy I need two tires put on, whats the wait? Like 4-6 hours right? He says about an hour and a half. Odd, could have sworn he just told me up to 6 hours on the phone just 15 minutes ago. Oh well! Guy tells me the damage is about $200 bucks. Not bad. My son and I go shopping and eat lunch. I get a call from the fella telling me its almost done so we mosey our way back. Anyways I see my car is still on the lift so I take a seat in the waiting area. About an hour later the car is being lowered on the lift. Still haven't called me in to pay and leave. ANOTHER half hour because I don't want to be that impatient fella but my phone has just died and my son is starting to unravel in the bare waiting area. I see the guy and he is talking to his coworkers and I ask him how much longer. He says its been done for about 45 minutes but he's been stuck up here with a customer. WHAT? No you weren't. Ive seen you walk by a bunch and your just jabbering on here! Gimme my keys, let me pay and get out of here. Oh snap the bill is $532. He tells me the tires we chose beforehand are out so they put on another set. Terrible customer service and work done without my consent and charged over $300 bucks than what we agreed upon. Never again.

I read the list to them and they said they could do it on Friday in about 2 hours. I was there when they opened at 8am on Friday. I showed them the list of things and read it to them again. They again told me about two hours. I left and came back after about 1.5 hours and took a seat in the waiting area. Shortly the this gal came and told me they had to order parts and the parts wouldn't be there until about 12:00 or 12:30... So my 2 hours turned to 4 to 4.5 hours. After sitting there another hour or so the manager came walking by and ask me how things are going. I told him not good and explained to him what was going on and wondered why they couldn't just walk across the street and buy the filters my car needed. He said he would look in to it. About another half hour later the gal comes back out and calls me "Honey" (I wasn't in the mood for Honey) and explained that the parts are on order and would be here by 12:30. I ask how long it would take to put them on once they are here and she said it would be another 2.5 hours. You see where this is going right??? I left without all the work being done. She did say I could come back in and spend most of my Saturday so they could finish the work. I didn't do back and I suggest you also not go.
