Situated on a quieter side street, it was a nice place for a rest and hot drink. However, the 3 employees were laser focused on themselves and chatting than customer service or cleaning tables. Again, another coffee place only offering whole milk. Almond or oat $1 more. Homemade syrup add another $1. Meh

Amazing tasting coffee (we got a bag of beans to go as well). You can taste the unique coffee beans in the drink. Great breakfast sandwich and delicious chocolate chip oatmeal cookie. Customer service was also top notch. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try. Worth it!

Very sweet little coffee shop With a cozy atmosphere and well made coffee. There were a number of bouquets in the window that were a tribute to one of the staff of the coffee shop who had been sick. It was so sweet to see how the community came together for this person!

Super cute coffee shop in Waynesville. I got a mocha and it was good. They noticed I was putting g sugar in my coffee after they made it and they sweetly told me that next time I could ask them to add any sweeteners I wanted when I ordered it. I appreciated their attention and the fact they want to make it easy for customers.

On our coffee shop travels we came across this place. Inside was very generic but it was clean and inviting. Service was very good as everyone had smiles and even laughed at my silly joke. The food was very basic and not many choices or any specials listed. The positive about this is that they did what they were there for well.

Headed down to Waynesville this past weekend to see a friend and stop by here. Had heard some hustle and bustle about this coffee shop and so I was excited to try it. The shop itself is incredibly adorable. The aesthetics are on point. It's got great visuals and is somehow elaborate but simple. They have a good amount of homemade looking pastries, as well as plenty of coffee options. Nothing too fancy but I prefer smaller menus done well. Inside, you will find some nice tables and bright lighting. Only one bathroom so there tends to be a line. The space itself it's a little crowded and tiny if it's busy. The Americano I got took a long time, but they taste delicious. Due to the fact that the space is pretty cramped in the workers are pretty busy, it wouldn't be my first spot unless it was a slow morning. However, I did really enjoy the aesthetics, the location, the coffee and the ambiance. Just as a tip, we walked up the street to a little community outside table. So awesome and beautiful.

Highly recommend the strawberry matcha! Would be five stars if it wasn't so pricey. The space is very nice

This place is the real deal! Delicious coffee with coffee art. The group that was in there were so friendly and chatted with us about the local area. The inside is so cute and cozy. I would come back and hang out for a bit when we have more time. We had a fresh muffin and a scone to go. The muffin was still warm from the oven and was super light and fluffy. The scone was loaded with fruit. We will come back for beautiful coffee and breakfast very soon. I highly recommend this coffee shop! read more

This is a coffee shop for those who appreciate coffee. This place is not cheap 4.50 for a pour over coffee. Is the coffee good? Absolutely it's fantastic, but expect Apple computers and bloggers. The most expensive chocolate bar I have ever seen 12$!!! Wow I was curious how good or better than a 4 or even 5 bar but 12$ is a little crazy for chocolate even for me. Anyway the coffee and food (snacks) is the best in waynesville the cups and lids are compostable so I'll pay a premium for that. Thanks Orchard! The people running the place are friendly and nice. It's a little small compared to panecea or Starbucks. But there it is nicely decorated good music and a chessboard. read more

Located just off of the main drag. Awesome vibe! We were visiting from out of state and this barista-he was fantastic. Really knew his stuff and was a spicy dresser too. We received and observed excellent service from all of the employees. Everyone got along and worked as a team to provide us and the other customers great service. My husband had drip coffee and liked it so much that we bought a bag to take home. I got a shot of espresso and Avocado Toast which was really yummy. It consisted of cream cheese, pickled onions, tomato, black pepper and avocado on delicious fresh bread. We'll be return customers for sure. read more

Cute little coffee shop across from the courthouse in Waynesville. Had a fresh cup of coffee and the BEST Apple turnover. It's a relaxing place with a fresh feel. The owners (family owned) are here all the time. Definitely a place to stop in for a relaxing break in your day (or after a bad day in court). read more

Best espresso anywhere. Homemade blueberry muffins are to die for. The space itself is gorgeous. I'd highly recommend stopping in here whether you're a local or you're from out of town. Don't come expecting cheap coffee, you pay top dollar for a superior product. As an example, my blueberry muffin included blueberries the owner and his wife picked by hand. Was that worth $3? Yes, yes it was. The key differentiator, I think, is the fact that the owner believed in relationships over transactions. I personally saw him let a guy in right after closing and make that fellow a latte... how great is that? I will be back and I'm telling everyone I know about it. read more

What an amazing gem. To find coffee of this caliber in a small town is amazing, but perhaps the best thing is you get coffee on the level of the finest coffee house in a big city but combined with small town service! Truly the best possible combination and, without a doubt, the finest coffee house I have ever visited. read more

This little shop really knows customer service and community service. They really get to know their customers and their lives. They learn your order and they ask about your day or your week. The pastry's are house made and each one is delicious. They offer different milks and syrups( house made) so there is something for everyone. Decaf available, family friendly. read more

I love going to this cafe every chance I get. The flavor of the coffee is entirely unique to anything else I've tried and the pastries vary every time I go. Their scones are incredible and always have a different spin. Occasionally I try one of their other options like the chocolate chunk cookie and the amazing French toast. The staff are also incredibly kind and friendly. I've been going for a year so far and they've made sure that they remember our names. The shop has a very mellow and calm atmosphere that can ease your mind. Usually it isn't too crowded and we can find a seat easily, but other times it's so busy you can't find anywhere to sit. It is my favorite coffee shop and I plan to continue going for as long as I can. read more

This coffee shop had a very good cup of hot coffee, fresh and flavorful. The iced coffee was mixed just right with a good balance of sweet and coffee taste. The place was a little small for my family that includes three young kids, but thankfully we didn't break anything on the way out. read more

I've been able to enjoy great coffee in great shops around the globe and Orchard sits high on the list of my all time favorites. I've never once had a bad experience there. The coffee quality is on point, the food is delicious and the customer service is excellent. Highly recommend. read more

I'm not a true coffee drinker myself but I love their iced latte with caramel flavor! Most places make it either too bitter or too sweet for my taste but I feel like they get it just right here. My fiancé is a bit of a coffee snob but he loves their regular iced coffee here. He said you can really tell that they clean their equipment properly! read more

Awesome coffee shop! I am spoiled with good spots where I live, and this place was just as cool as any shop I've been in. Good bean selection for purchase from Methodical, one of the best roasters in the country, and from what I understand they rotate their retail selection as well as their single origin espresso offering on bar. The owner is super cool and he even pulled me a special shot of his private selection since I was in town visiting. Happy I found this spot! read more

We took a family rest stop off the highway to get a good cup of coffee & were so glad we picked Orchard. We tried the belly warmer, an award winning latte, & an iced chai. Everything was delicious, but the warm greeting & friendly conversation with the owner turned our stop into a story we will take with us as we continue on our journey. The young and modernist atmosphere has also a touch of the past and history, windows looking at the historical Waynesville Court House and no far from main street, place of many historical and comuunity events, as it waynesvilles with their antiques shops, old theater and rich history. The Orchard Coffe is a cozy, good ambient, and serve good coffee, worth the stop. read more

We were visiting the area when we found this spot. They stopped serving breakfast at noon but opened the kitchen for us because we had a hard time finding park and just missed the cut off. Live savers when traveling with small children. Their food and coffees are amazing! Highly recommended! Amazing staff! read more

Wow!! Why go anywhere else for coffee, sweets, and/ or sandwiches? Everything we had was fantastic, the service top notch, the music perfect, and the atmosphere wonderful! The staff was super friendly, and made us feel like we were the most important folks in town. Such a great spot! They are doing curbside service where you order at the door, very convenient and safe. Also ordered a donut and blueberry muffin. So amazing!! Customer service was great, the staff was super friendly. You can definitely tell that the coffee is fresh and local. I definitely recommend this place! read more

This is the place to be. If you're going to Waynesville (or live there) you MUST go to Orchard. They are not only the best people but they make waves in the coffee arena. Everything I've had from here is amazing. Everything I tell you. All of their baked goods, espresso, drip, lattes, latte ART (beyond beautiful), everything is great. You won't find more knowledgeable coffee people or kinder people than the Orchard fam. read more

Omigosh what a great place to hang out on a summer Saturday afternoon! Almost everyone was sitting outside at the creekside picnic tables with lots of fur babies in attendance. There's no drink service outside so you have to go inside to get your beer or nibbles but that's ok. They'll bring your apps out to you. And the beer is pretty good too. We only had one each, but I would go back to try more!

As the years go on, I become more and more of a "coffee snob" in that I love a good quality coffee with smooth and unique flavors. Not only that, but when I visit a coffee shop in a new town, I want to feel welcomed and have a special experience. This place does such an excellent job at both of these things. If you like great quality coffee, this is /the/ place to check out. They may have a smaller selection of syrup flavors than other places, but it's homemade and will blow your expectations out of the water compared to any of the run-of-the-mill syrups other places use. It's run by a family and some of their close friends, and I always feel welcomed and can expect good conversation when I visit. Another plus is that their food and pastries are /delicious./ They recently added gluten free pastries, and although I'm not gluten intolerant, I've had a few of these options and they taste just as good (if not better) than the regular pastries! You can tell they actually care about quality, presentation, and service. If you've never been, I highly recommend giving it a shot at least once. You'll fall in love with it! read more

So thankful for this amazing coffee shop and the wonderful family that owns and works it! Seriously the best coffee around! And the baked goods!!!! Don't even get me started they are legit to die for! They have a peach tart that you will crave 24-7 but get there early cause these goodies are gone fast! Their syrups are homemade so no artificial taste here. If you are in Waynesville or anywhere near it you have to check out Orchard Coffee. Honestly the best coffee shop I've ever been to. At other coffee shops you go in and they ask you what you want and you sit down. At Orchard it's different, they are very outgoing and personable and you immediately feel welcomed. The coffee is amazing, and the jalapeño cheddar scones are to die for. The atmosphere is very laid back, and it's a great place to do work and meet friends and family for coffee. Last but not least, Orchard coffee is one of the cleanest coffee shops I've ever been in!!! read more

Probably the best roast I've had in this part of the country. Even their most affordable coffee is delicious. They also have biscotti they make in-house, which is hard to find in coffee houses nowadays. I definitely recommend this place. I'll be going back, whenever I get the chance. read more
