However. The current leadership is unfortunate, inexperienced, and unprofessional. The Director and Assistant Directors were unsupportive of my family directly and were very manipulative and two-faced in how they handled the situation with us personally. They threw other staff under the bus when confronted about mishandling the situation. I have since heard stories that are of concern about how they are conducting things that seem to only reiterate poor leadership and compelled me to write this review. I don't trust the current leadership, the high tuition rate that they keep raising, the consistent billing issues, the lack of support for the teachers and any students that aren't following "marching orders". They don't want to be bothered with handling kids who need more care or support.

I have had nothing but great experiences here at the Village. I am constantly talking to my son teachers about what they are learning which is sight words, states, along with math in their Pre Kindergarten class. Friday Splash Day (summer water fun day) and wonderful holiday activities makes it very enjoyable for my son, always wants to go. They are a large part of the tribe it takes a raise a child and I have to give them a lot credit for teaching my son, loving him and treating him like one of their own. Merryhill follows a fun curriculum that have taught my kiddo so much. I feel they have done a great job in getting my son prepared for school. We really enjoy all of the fun events they have such as Halloween events, summer events, Christmas program and class parties for holidays just to name a few. The hours are awesome and unlike some schools who follow ISD closures, they are only closed a few holidays a year. I like that they provide snacks and a meal as part of tuition too.

As a first time mom everything is new to me the teachers are so helpful and wonderful. What I exactly like the school is her class has all different age children and all the toys are educational. At home I talk to her only Mongolian. 3 months ago she does not say a word in English now she is speaking with sentences. She is just amazing very well prepared all the lesson and everyday has something to surprise. When I ask how well she is doing and eating her lunch all teachers knows what exactly she did. My baby is sometimes very stubborn when teachers ask to go potty she says no. They were very patient and she had accident no more 3 times. They are non profit organization so you can have some tax deduction on tuition fee. Personally I am very picky person but never happy more than that. Absolutely recommend this school. The staff was attentive, nurturing, and fully engaged with the children -- it was beautiful to see. During storytime, the children impressed me with their focus, discipline, and excitement to participate. They listened so carefully and interacted with so much joy. We even created a fun little song together on the spot, and they jumped right in with bright smiles and enthusiasm. IKid Academy deserves a big congratulations for cultivating such a loving, organized, and enriching environment.
