I've put off going to the dentist for far too long. The crew at Jon Orcher's was super warm and comforting and made me feel completely comfortable from the moment I walked in. They did a very thorough job of explaining everything in simple terms, gently gave me advice, and they even let me select which television show I'd like to watch while they were cleaning my teeth. Like another Yelper, my dentist of many years recently passed away. I did not have a good feel about the new dentist that took over the practice, so I went in search of a new dentist. Saw the excellent reviews for Dr. Orcher and decided to give him a try. I have to say, I'm blown away by the service and friendliness of the staff at this office and Dr. Orcher. I had the pleasure (how often can you say that about a dentist?) of having Dr. Orcher clean my teeth himself. He thoroughly explained everything he was checking for and doing, assured I understood everything, and even gave me information and pointers for taking care of my 9 month old sons 8 teeth (I got to take home a kids toothbrush for him too!). I am very pleased with this office, will recommend them to my family who used to see the previous dentist, and will definitely continue to schedule my appointments here for years to come! read more

I came in because I had a hole in my filling and there was some pain, so I got an X-ray and dr. orcher explained exactly what was wrong. So I had my filling replaced with some composite and now my tooth feels great! There whole staff is really nice and make you feel really comfortable. read more

Can't say enough about Dr. ORCHER and his team. He is a very kind and gentle person. Is actually pleasant to come here. No waiting at all, every time i go it takes like 2 mins to go in. The best thing is he will not try to do any work on your teeth unless is absolutely neccesary which is one of the reasons i have changed my dentist before. I have always loved to go to the dentist. I have been very fortunate to have excellent dental professionals throughout my life. Recently, my wonderful dentist of 38 years died. Yesterday I went to see Dr. Orcher who is located in an office next to my long-time dentist's office. He was able to clearly communicate to me about my dental health and I know that I am again in excellent hands! I'm so excited because I have just found my dentist! I hadn't been to a dentist in three years because of several major moves and the hectic things that happen in everyone's life. Not to mention his entire staff front to back, front desk to assistant, is just as pleasurable to be around. I had been going to the same dentist for about eight years in Long Beach. The office was immaculate, the service professional and prompt, and the staff warm and welcoming. However, and this is a huge however, I grew tired of the chronic recommendations: a restoration here, x-rays there, another restoration there, wisdom teeth extraction, etc. Basically, every visit was followed by a follow up visit that involved some sort of procedure and a credit card swipe. I felt I had a good oral hygiene regimen in between visits so I couldn't understand why I was so "high maintenance." The last two years or so I grew tired of the rhetoric and decided to make a switch to Dr. Orcher's office. I've been going for a full year now and am very pleased. It's a modest office but the service is just as good as you would get in more upscale neighborhoods.Dr. Orcher is, in my estimation, one of those few honest dentists still around who is not looking to finance his house or child's education on his patients' gullibility.
