I had spoken on the phone with one of their employees to order a remote key for my car and I was told it would be a specific remote key even after I explained what my car make and model was and was told it would take 3 business days and was told it would be 90$.... 7 Business days later I get a call and am told it finally arrived after I had called the previous days and was told "it'll be here tomorrow" when it never was ... finally I said my remote is here i asked the guy on the phone how much it would be and explained the guy previously quoted me at 90$ he laughed and said yeah that's not right it's gonna be 95$ I said okay that's fine I go to the key place to get it programmed and it's a completely different Remote then the one I was told about and the price has changed to 100$+ for a cheap looking remote that costs 9$ online that apparently took 2 weeks to arrive that I probably could of ordered and programmed myself ... save your money and don't waste it on this place they give you wrong quotes for stuff and overcharge the hell out of you. read more

Awesome service! Fair prices! My Dodge key fob stopped working and the manual key wouldn't unlock the door, leaving me locked out of my minivan in a parking lot. Waited for the spare key to be brought to me and went to the dealership to inquire about options. They were not at all helpful (and somewhat rude), suggested I could pay to try to reprogram the key, but if that didn't work a new key and programming was over $300. That is not in my budget, so I went home and started searching about my problem online--evidently, it is common. I found Orem Lock from Yelp and gave them a call. I explained the situation to the young man who answered the phone. He suggested I come to the shop and they could use their receiver to see if the key fob was putting out a signal or not. If not, their cost for a replacement was $125 total for the key fob and programming (and a 2 yr warranty). It was already after 5 pm when I got there. He checked my key fob (no signal), cut a new manual key, programmed the new key fob, and investigated the problem with the manual lock, and I was out of there in less than 15 minutes. I was impressed with the service, that they were willing to check for the problem before automatically upselling a new key. I would recommend them hands down and will certainly go back for any of our locksmith needs! read more

These guys are great! If you need a key that needs to be programmed for a new car, get it here. It took 15 minutes (the Honda dealership said it would take an hour). They are open till six. So if you work till five it gives you plenty of time to get there and get your key done. Then, he asked me how much the dealership quoted me. I told him $80, which was what he had quoted me as well. He said, we want to make sure we're cheaper than the dealer, so I'll charge you $75. Awesome! read more

Great people great prices. We had a broken Toyota car key-fob and they were able to reprogram a key. Seriously, worst place ever. I got in a bind and needed keys reprogrammed, they told me that my Subaru is hard to program but that I should be okay. Well, $350 and 90 miles later I end up stranded on the freaking side of the road in the middle of no where because my key programming as failed. I then have to spend another $600 to get back home as well as to go get the key programmed at the dealership. Don't waste your time here, this is bullshit and they charge a lot for poor service. read more

I find this place with mostly 5star reviews and let me tell you they deserve them. Not only was the phone answered immediately but I was quoted a fair flat price and after the work was done, that was the price. A nice change from other locksmiths I have had to deal with. They sent out one of their guys within minutes of my call and he was here in less than 15 minutes. He then did a great job getting the door opened and on top of that was extremely friendly and helpful. Amazing service! The dealer wanted over $200 for a new key to my car... Orem Lock did the key for $75 and it has a warranty with it. I tried a few other locksmiths before I came here, they wanted about $100 for the key. I will always refer people here for car keys or locks. My wife and I got locked out of our apartment at about 10:30 at night on a Saturday night. We stepped out on our balcony for a few minutes and when we went to go back in we realized that the sliding glass door had locked behind us. So we were in a panic. Don't bother with these guys! Their work is crap they're kind of shady and they don't show up when they say they will!they try and sell you this great product and talk it up and charge top dollar. then what they install is the cheapie crap at Home Depot or Lowe's! What's worse is less than a month after they've installed the stuff it's literally falling out of the door. Seriously an ape with a pocket knife could do a better job installing locks than these guys. I'd call and complain but it's not worth my time and I don't believe they'd trying fix it. I called to get my doors rekeyed for we moved into a new home when I talk to her she said they would be around $19 a lock and $29 to come out so I asked to set up a time to have them come she then told me she would have the locksmith called me and hung up next thing I know he's at my door and walks around to see how many locks there are and then starts when I asked how much it would be he said $453 so I asked him to stop and said I would buy the doorknobs at Home Depot and put them on myself when I paid him the $29 which I didn't want to pay for coming without an appointment he left and left all the door parts on my front porch didn't put them back that he took off I will never use someone like that again for any issues on a house maybe a car would be okay but not for a house they got a one star not happy rating from me read more
