I'd heard about acupuncture for years, and serval people in my friend circle highly recommended Cynthia, so I decided to give acupuncture a try in hopes of relieving my persistent neck and shoulder pain I'd been feeling after being in a rear end collision. To say that I feel in love with acupuncture is an understatement! Cynthia is so intuitive and deeply cares and really - listens - to everything going on. She got me back in balance and lowered my pain issues with her techniques in just a couple of sessions. To give an example- after my first visit I was so relaxed and pain free, i went home and slept for 12 hours. I haven't slept like that in years!! I had never been to acupuncture before but someone on the Facebook forum recommended Cynthia. I had a painful and problematic shoulder and was not able to lift my right arm (due to calcification and other issues). Literally after only one visit the calcification disappeared on the MRI that I had taken after seeing Cynthia. I had no pain anymore and have been able to lift my arm again! Needless to say, I had an extremely positive experience going to see her, due to her Professionalism, knowledge, warm and kind manner. I'd love to be able to rate the doctor but unfortunately the staff told me I have Anthem that is not accepted. I told them I don't have Anthem and she is a preferred provider for my PPO. She said I was wrong, I have Anthem. Pretty sure I know my insurance for the last decade. Now if she doesn't accept PPO blue cross blue shield.... fine. But don't tell me I have different insurance when you didn't even run the policy. read more

when i first went to get acupuncture I was very closed minded because I didn't understand how getting needles in me could possibly help me with the problem I was having. I was on crutches with my foot stuck in a flexed position and after having 6 surgeries with no help I was willing to do anything. After being released from my 7 month stay in the hospital being told I would never walk again my aunt suggested I try acupuncture because it would help relax my muscles. The disorder I have causes my muscles to cramp and spasm for hours at a time and since she said it would help relax my muscles i figured it was worth a try. I was a little nervous it would hurt but surprisingly it wasn't painful at all but the results were amazing. At first I didn't feel like it did anything but the next morning my foot was not stuck in a flexed position. After a few visits I was off crutches and slowly walking again. I needed to find a new acupuncturist since moving to town. Cynthia has a lovely office, with soothing music when it's working and when it's not you can hear all the noise from adjacent spaces. OH MY GOSH Cynthia is absolutely wonderful!! She truly is a healer and a great practicer of eastern medicine. I have never done acupuncture before trying it this year for the first time, and I went to 3 other places before coming here, trying to find a place that was the best fit for me. Now I go every week or every other week based on my schedule, and I feel so amazing! It helps reduce my stress (I leave there feeling the same as leaving a yoga class - relaxed and stress-free!) I have been following Cynthia for years. I'm so happy that she now has her own practice!!! I was skeptical of acupuncture initially. I was struggling with pain from pericarditis and it didn't seem like I could find any relief from prescription painkillers. A mutual friend suggested that I try acupuncture and referred Cynthia. Desperate, I gave it a try. It turned out to be the best decisions ever. Cynthia really listened to me. She looked at my symptoms and my diagnosis but took it even farther to look at my health as a whole. There were so many other issues going on with my body which were not helping my added issue. After several months of treatment I cried. Not only had my chest pain subsided, but I felt better overall than I have in the past. My circulation improved (no more cold hands and feet), my cycle became regular and my skin looked great. If you have any hesitations about acupuncture, give Cynthia a try.
