She was siting at the front desk, where she greeted me and told me what papers to fill out. We then went back to the room, when I realized I better call my husband back here to listen with a second pair of ears. As soon as I walked into the office I was greeted with a friendly smile from Dr. Cusimano who was sitting at the front desk. The place is sanitary and kept tidy. My neck was in so much discomfort and I was not able to turn/tilt my head without feeling excruciating pain. I saw her 2-3 Xs per week at first, and the times were reduced due to the progress, and my last time seeing her was on 4/19/2023. My pain started at a 9 and went then to a 0, which is certainly amazing. I have been as good as new since then. Dr. Cusimano has always been kind, patient, and understanding, and accomplishes to do a great job at what she does. I have chronic pain, and had just got into a car accident. My chiropractor that was recommended from my accident lawyer wasn't doing it for me. I found Tracie randomly and decided to give her a shot. I was referred to this chiropractor after a car accident where someone ran through a stop sign and t-boned my car. I had significant neck and upper back issues following. She is a good listener and is eager to explain what is wrong, her treatment, and not afraid to get you to imaging or another doctor should it be warranted. After several weeks of treatments, though my range of motion was better and pain level decreased immediately after treatments but recurred regularly, she sent me for imaging and suggested an orthopedic specialist. I was very impressed that she is looking out for the good of her patients instead of her pocketbook. The treatments are great and get a lot of movement. I feel better than I have since starting with her and on the way to a long but steady recovery. I owe this in a large part to her and her methodoligy. I would definately not hesitate to refer her to anyone. When my back went out, my husband suggested Dr Cusimano. I had never been to a chiropractor before and wasn't sure what to expect. Tracie explained what was going on (strained muscle) so I was able to understand the injury and how to treat it. A week ago I was injured after falling off my skateboard. My labrador and dalmatian were pulling me on my skateboard and my front right wheel hit a rock causing me to fall onto my right shoulder. Three days after my fall I was still taking ibuprofen, icing my upper back and having extreme difficulty sleeping from the pain. I looked up chiropractors in HB on yelp and decided to go with Dr. Cusimano. I called the office and left a message on the answering machine. I received a call back in less than a half hour from Dr. Cusimano and she was able to see me that day !! My appointment with the doctor was exactly what I was looking for. She used an ultrasound machine on my shoulder which felt amazing. After the ultrasound she gently adjusted my upper back and finished the therapy with ice and a cool soothing menthyl. She instructed me on how to position myself in my bed while sleeping and she told me to ice my back for 15 minutes every few hours. The upper back pain decreased by 35 percent the next day and I was able to get a good night sleep. I have since stopped taking the ibuprofen but I am continuing to ice. I'm feeling much better. Dr. Cusimano's fees are very reasonable, she was able to give me a cash fee of 40 dollars per visit and she said It will not take more than 4-5 visits for my back to improve. It's a waste of time trying to make an appointment with this Dr. Unless you have insurance with high deductible, copay, would reimburses her well, worker compensation or involved in car acicident that would allowing her to exaggerate the condition to get huge payout, don't bother getting an authorization from your Medical Group to see her. Even if you get the approval, she would never book an appointment. My chiropractor only charges $40/per manual adjustment whereas she has package deal, making you obligated to pay in advance for multiple sessions you might not need. If she wasn't located near Costco Bella Tera, I'd never picked her in the first place. She's the worse kind of Dr. Luckily she's only DC, not MD. Imagine if she's MD and you needed to seek medical attention right away. You'd have to pass her initial screening. Failed = die while driving to find another MD. read more

I have been treated by Dr. Cusimano in Huntington Beach for several years now for a variety of issues. She has always been correct with her diagnosis and also includes a demonstration of stretches or exercises to help prevent a recurrence. Today was no exception. . . I was having issues with my hips due to some extra physical work I had been doing and after listening to my symptoms, immediately began to work on the affected areas. I have had back problems off and on for years. A couple months ago I was feeling a lot of pain in my mid back and neck. I was getting shooting pains and some tingling up behind my head. I called Dr. Cusimano to set up an appointment. Despite the amount of patients ahead of me, she was able to squeeze me in on a cancelation. She is located at Old World Village and there is plenty of parking. Her rates are very reasonable, and she accepts all sorts of insurance. Dr. Cusimano did a very thorough examination before the adjustment. She quickly pin pointed the issue. She took her time and didn't force anything, which I appreciated. After about 5 appointments I was good as new. NO PAIN WHAT-SO-EVER in a month. I'm back at the gym, sleeping well, and have improved posture. So I never truly got treated by Tracie, but she basically saved me. I've had neck/shoulder pain for 8 months, been to physical therapy and my doctor suggested a chiropractor as well. I went in to my appointment and after a few questions and tests she determined she can't work on me. I was a little bummed, but she recommended an MRI to see what's going on. After struggling for months everyone taking their guesses what was wrong the MRI uncovered I had a severely herniated disc that I will be getting surgery on at the end of this month. Any other chiropractor would have adjusted me and sent me on my way. The fact she refused to work on me and risk more damage shows she's extremely knowledgeable in this field. Update over a year later! Still highly HIGHLY recommend Dr. Cusimano! You'd be doing yourself a disservice by not getting her chiropractic help. I have become very familiar with what triggers my back and have had plenty of time to heal and regain my strength to combat my sciatica. I found Dr. Tracie Cusimano through Yelp and I am soooooo glad I did! From the very beginning, she was very helpful and informative. She took the time to listen to me about my car accident and also helped me get an idea of what my situation would most likely be with the insurance companies that I was dealing with. She took the time to look at my car (which she didn't have to, of course) and told me her honest opinion of the situation, though it wasn't what I wanted to hear. This showed me that she went above and beyond to fully understand what was going on and most importantly, honest. She also gave me some tips, suggestions, and referrals to people who would best help me with my case. I never had to wait long to see her because she was careful with her appointment settings and even adjusted her schedule to fit mine. She was always very thorough and took the time to explain everything to me and answered all the questions that I had. Her massages were AHHHHHMAZING! I think i fell asleep a few times, actually. After having baby #2, I had a pain much like sciatica that persisted after having my baby. So I decided to look into going to a chiropractic care, thinking that it might be what helps me alleviate the pain I was dealing with on the daily. I've been a patient of chiropractic care for 20 years and it wasn't till I met Dr Cusimano that I realized I was getting completely ripped off all those years. At 6'-3", chiropractic care is a must for me after many years of beating up my body. A typical visit to my old chiropractor would require a ridiculous 45-60 minute visit and no matter how many times I said "please don't leave me on the table for more than 10 minutes, I don't have time", they would leave me there for 30 and I was lucky to walk out with an actual adjustment that worked. Needless to say, I was getting sick of wasting time with a chiropractor clear across town that justified his price by leaving me on a roller table for 30 minutes, so I could walk out annoyed and disappointed. Yelp to the rescue. I found Dr Cusimano who happened to be close to the house with excellent reviews. Several adjustments later and I can now say that I have found my new and permanent chiropractor. On a scale of 1 to 10 she's a 10. For once, a chiropractor that knows chiropractic care and does it well. The office is clean and parking is easy, Dr. Cusimano is great. She is professional, friendly and super flexible. I came to see her due to a herniated disc in my back, my pain was around a 6 out of 10 and it was constant. Every day I would wake up, the first thing I would feel was pain and it was very stressful. After seeing her for around 3 months my pain has decreased to a 2 out of 10, my pain is still mainly constant although I have days when the pain is not very noticeable. Now when I wake up I really don't feel pain and I have had a day or two when I wake up with no pain :) I'm very satisfied with Dr. Cusimano's treatment. Well I did my homework and found Tracie, whom had stellar reviews. My profession is a involves constant lifting and movement, which takes had taken a toll on my body from not maintaining regular visits to a chiropractor in over a year (which I suffered for). When I first visited Dr. Cusimano, I had numbness in both legs, sciatica pains in both upper thighs and chronic lower back pain. Upon my initial consultation with her, the Dr. was very concerned that I would need an M.R.I. (which freaked me out!) After one treatment I noticed a remarkable improvement the very next day in my back and overall mood. Upon a second visit just a few days later I felt even better. I never realized how much I was in before, until I actually didn't have any! I honestly cannot believe how much my quality of life has proved, since going to her, a little over two months ago.
