The lo mein I got was badly overcooked. Also, I did not like their fried rice. It seemed off, like they had used fresh rice instead of day old rice -- the reason this matters is that fresh rice doesn't absorb the flavors and throws off the texture and taste of the fried rice. This is just basic Chinese cooking 101 and the fact that they couldn't get this basic element right seems a bit dismaying.. My general impression was that they didn't seem to be able to get the basic elements right. Both the fried rice and the lo mein tasted like something was missing -- maybe some spices/flavors were missing. read more

Ordered ahead and stopped to pick up my food. Although they did have a dining room the restaurant was not at all inviting. It seems like they do mostly take out. Service was fine. We ordered wonton soup, mixed soup, crab Rangoon, shrimp rolls and boneless Ribs. Food was very good with the exception of the shrimp rolls. It literally had a single shrimp cut in half and was filled up with cabbage. That was disappointing. Other than that we were pleased. read more

This is our go-to Chinese takeout and we are very pleased with their food. Our staples are General Tao's Chicken, Garlic Sauce with Chicken, Lo Mein, egg rolls, & Wonton Egg drop soup. General Tao's chicken is very good. Very sweet. Generally just the typical American-Chinese dish that is sticky and sweet and goes well with the fried rice. Chicken and garlic sauce is also great. The chicken is not fried but pairs well with their combination of veggies. I don't know about you but the Wonton Egg Drop soup is the bomb. I never saw these two combined and it's awesome to get them both in one dish. We have recently been exploring more of their menu and I can say that while all have not given me that fix for my American-Chinese take out experience, they are all very good. The Szechuan Chicken was decent but I am excited to try the Hunan style chicken next. The twice cooked pork was basically just larger pieces of the tiny pork pieces you find in Pork Fried rice. It was decent but I won't order that again. They have started to offer some Thai food so we tried the shimp Pad Thai and it was good but not great. Great portion and it was tasty, but it was packed into the container and felt compacted when eating it. If they cleaned up the store a bit I might give this five stars. I feel that they are a great Chinese take out spot but could benefit from just some fine tuning in the cleanliness department. read more

They took full advantage of hiking prices due to covid, FIND A NEW SUPPLIER for your restaurant. I get a 1.50 to 2 dollar difference but they took it too far, $8.00 for a 4 piece chinese style fried wings?? Please check prices prior to ordering because they don't volunteer the information even with regulars. $13.00 for a SMALL order of just ribs when it's originally around $8, have a paper at the window stating it's "temporary" but I don't think it's temporary anymore. It's honestly ridiculous, I'm only coming here if I'm desperate for food until the price changes. What I don't get is how other Chinese restaurants are able to keep their prices and this location can't, even in expensive cities like NYC. They're doing too much, don't be greedy. read more

I have to say I wasn't optimistic about ordering Chinese food in NJ. I have had way too many bad experiences outside of NY. Being that I reside in NJ now I had to give it a try and I was not disappointed. Food was absolutely delicious and my daughter can agree with that being that she is a picky eater and her plate was completely empty. I ordered the orange chicken for myself and it was cooked to perfection with an amazing flavor. My sister has a condo near this chinese place. This place has great orange chicken that my sister always orders! Its is small and very crispy on that nice orangey sauce! She got me hooked on it. They deliver my food with no utensils, "BBQ beef stick" RAW and unseasoned... they send me replacements after wasting my lunch hour waiting while my combo got cold and new sticks were like leathery dog treats. General tso's tastes like a toddler threw ketchup and vinegar on some chicken nuggets. No care for the food or the customers. Now I am afraid I will wind up with food poisoning from the overwhelming incompetence of the supposed "cooks" in this place. This has become my go to Chinese place since my other fav Chinese restaurant jacked up the prices. I love the won ton noodle soup (but wish it had some shredded pork floating in it, I've noticed a lot of places don't do that anymore), crag rangoons very good, pork fried rice very good, and they have scallion pancakes which are delicious and I don't know of any other local Chinese that offers them. Shrimp and lobster sauce was ok, mui shu pork could use more meat and less cabbage. They have a lot of different things I've yet to try such as pad Thai. Can't beat their prices either. It was in no way "panang", rather it was literally yellow curry powder ladened rubbery chicken.
