Sent our Oriental Carpet to the Oriental Rug Cleaning Plant and was sorely disappointed when it was returned. Our carpet had a base color of medium gray with peach and blue flowers. It now looks like it sat in dirty water for a few days, colors are faded and some bled. I've had this carpet cleaned before and didn't have any problems. First and last time I will ever use this company. I'm not sure the carpet can be saved at this point. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If you value the money you spent on a nice carpet, avoid them! Not very happy! The parts of the carpet that were relatively clean came back cleaner, the parts that were in traffic or had a stain came back the same as they went in with little noticeable difference! Next time I'll take a chance on a truck mounted cleaning system, at least I'll be able to see results, or lack of, immediately. On the plus side. I really can't say enough good words about this company. I was hesitant at first because I have expensive area rugs (from Iran and India) that had never been cleaned before. Because of all the positive reviews and because I really needed rug cleaning services, I decided to call. From my very first contact with ORCP, everything went smoothly. They answered every text or phone call from the first one which was on a holiday when they were closed! They did a beautiful job, the staff was friendly and competent and saw to every need. When they picked up my seven rugs for cleaning, one was badly in need of a repair. That particular rug would be 4 to 6 weeks to clean and repair while the others would be cleaned and returned in two weeks. Much to my surprise, when my cleaned rugs were returned, the repair was already completed and that rug was returned with the others. There was no odor of any cleaning solutions and every rug was dry and clean. During the two weeks that ORCP had my rugs, I decided to replace the padding on my largest rug (12' x 14') and they added it to my order - no problem! We have used Oriental Rug Cleaning Plant for a few years now for our area rug cleaning. We have two 8x10 Kashans that, with all the kids and traffic in our home need a good cleaning about once a year. We had used another area rug cleaning company previoulsy, and had dye bleeding problems when they were returned. When we got them back and our nice rug patterns were messed up because of the bleeding, as well as into the fringes.
