We come here every so often, and while the service is always on point, today somehow exceeded expectations. Tanisha and Jasmine (hope I got their names right) provided excellent customer service. They were a little busy, but the two of them had a great system down and handled all the orders smoothly and efficiently. Tommy's is one of those places you really have to be in the mood for. They have an In-N-Out-style burger that's decent, but if I'm coming here, I'll usually go for the chili burger--or get one of each if I'm especially hungry. The burger is good enough, but honestly, nothing about it really stands out. It's just okay. There are quite a few other burger spots I'd choose before coming here, so Tommy's isn't somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit. That said, it's a convenient option when you happen to be nearby and hungry. It's also rarely busy, so you can usually get in, order, eat, and get out pretty quickly. So being a California native coming over here I was hoping I was gonna get an original cheeseburger with some I ordered the homemade house dressing, preferably buttermilk ranch, and unfortunately it tasted sour. My fries also came out extremely hard and overcooked. On top of that, the customer service was not great. The location in Henderson, Nv is the only one we will go to when we are in Nevada. This particular location always has a clean dining room, clean restrooms and food is always hot and delicious. Today, (8/23/26) on the way home (cedar city,Utah) from a weekend concert in Vegas, we stopped at this location. We were warmly greeted by the staff, but the complete "standout" was Tunisia (the General Manager) who went out of her way to be friendly and genuine about us being valued customers. She treated us like a long-time friend and it was the first time we met her. Wow! I wish all GM's & restaurant employees were like her! We went to Tommy's for their 80th anniversary special! They had Chili Cheeseburgers for $.80, which is crazy. The line was super long with at least 60 people and maybe 15 cars im the Drive Thru. Luckily, the drive-thru moved at a decent pace and we didn't wait toooo long. The cheeseburgers were decent but can"m't beat that price for sure. My daughter and I came for lunch at Tommy's on St. Rose and we were immediately greeted by one of the associates with a smile. We are from California and had not had Tommy's for a long while. We felt so welcomed! We ordered 2 cheeseburgers fries and a side of their small chili. So worth every bite! I've been coming to Tommy's to order a cheeseburger plain and it takes a little bit longer than most fast food restaurants, but it's always worth it because it's incredibly fresh and cooked to order. Love go to Vegas cuz I can go to Tommy's. I had the chili cheeseburger which is huge and my partner had two chili cheese dogs but he could only eat one and we had the chili cheese fries. We also took two quarts of chili to go. You have to stop there. There are three locations in Las Vegas, one being in Henderson, but it's delicious. Everything is fresh made. Surprisingly it's never been busy when I've been in there but the portions are massive. It's hot and fresh. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is super clean. The new store manager had turned this place around. went with my mom today and dined inside, we were immediately welcomed with enthusiastic staff and a clean atmosphere. The staff members were incredibly friendly and polite and mentioned that it was under new management. You can absolutely tell the difference in care here. The kitchen was clean and organized even when making food. Our food came out in a timely manner and everything was hot and fresh when it came to us. On a recommendation we decided to stop by Tommy's and get their chili burger. The place was clean and pretty empty and the staff greeted us right away. We placed our order , got our drinks and sat down. The food didn't take too long but they had to cook and prepare it and it seemed like it was cooked fresh. Two years ago, my wife and I had chili burgers and chili cheese fries. The chili was thick and reasonably dry, and it could have been used to lay a course of bricks. I continued to go there and the one in Barstow on my way to & from California with good consistency in terms of food quality. However, the cheese burgers are not as good as In-N-Out's or Freddy's. Accordingly, over the last six months I have only ordered the chili cheese fries. I went to the one on St Rose Parkway again earlier today. The chili approached the experience we had two years ago! I just don't understand how they let their chili degrade so much by 3:00 PM! There should be a way to add some chili liquid or even water to provide for the consistency their chili is known for! We went through the drive thru for our Tommy's fix. We like Tommy's food, it is hearty and filling. We enjoyed the 1/4 pound Tommy's cheeseburger topped with chili and French fries. We added to the order chili cheese fries. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. Every bite was yummy. The chili is rich and hearty. The food is wholesome. It is a little pricey but well worth it. Tommy's originated from Southern California. It is a stalwart in the community of Southern California. It is famous. We have been to both Tommy's locations on Rose Parkway and Boulder Highway. The pictures in this review were taken at the Rose Parkway location. Both locations of Tommy's is good. Both times we went through the drive thru due to COVID19. I know all the people who work here. Do not come to this location. They do not clean the restaurant or themselves. They do not clean the dishes or any of the cooking equipment except for the grill because it's right there in the open. The food is nasty because nobody knows how to cook the food properly because the managers don't train and the crew leader only cares about herself and has a disgusting attitude. I don't even want to give a one star rating. From the moment we walked in I was disgusted. The door and windows were filthy. The floor was filthy. The soda machine was broke and leaking, there was water all over the floor and had a yellow cone in area. Every table was filthy and dirty food trays on top of the garbage cans. The place was empty and there were two guys behind the counter laughing. I only stayed because my husband loves Tommy's and I didn't want to disappoint him. The food came and was as disgusting as the establishment ! I picked up my chili dog and it disintegrated, totally fell apart from so much grease. I picked it up and threw it in the garbage.
