Turkey burger with a lettuce bun and fries (not eaten - not GF!). Yum!
    Caroline J.

I haven't had a hamburger bun in over 4 years. As all you happy intestine people eat those amazing brioche or pretzel rolls, I'm stuck eating a beef patty sitting on a piece of lettuce. However, when I saw Wildburger offered a lettuce bun instead of an actual bun and we got a BOGO coupon, we headed over there to get a bite to eat. THANK YOU WILDBURGER! That lettuce bun was no ordinary wrap, This literally was half a head of iceberg lettuce (good lettuce...not browned or old) with a meat patty (of your choice) stuffed into it. As much as I was a little sour about having a small patty in my huge mound of lettuce, it was my fault for getting a turkey burger instead of their heft 1/2 pound burger, so I will let that one slide. This was the best bun I've had in years, and puts many I've had in the past to shame. The turkey patty? Decent. Nothing to write home about but decent. I got the lettuce/turkey burger with avocado. It was good quality and a subtle amount, nicely cut up so that it didn't go everywhere. My fiance ordered (like a smart person would do) the 1/2 pound patty with provolone cheese, bacon (2 or 3 slices, unsure), pickles, onions, lettuce and jalapeno ketchup. Yes, jalapeno ketchup. I don't know what they did to the ketchup, but there was a subtle flavor of the sweetness from a jalapeno pepper, not the heat (which I would have liked, but moving on). Even though they cooked an ordered medium-rare burger medium, it did not matter. Juicy through and through. Dripping with every bite all over the plate. He also devoured the fries. The fries, skinny, came in a cute little basket (it's all about the small things here people)and had a great seasoning. None of his dish was too greasy, all just nicely done. One thing I really appreciated? The women who I ordered the burger from may not have known what gluten is, but the chefs did, and that's what matters. I REALLY WANTED CHILI, but they said it was not gluten free. Thank you chefs, I truly appreciate your knowledge of this allergy and that is why I will mark this review with a very satisfied and thankful 4 stars. Be back soon. Please note: THIS IS NOT A SIT DOWN, GET SERVED, RESTAURANT. You order your food at front, get a cup for your drink, serve yourself said drink and then wait for your food at the table. Think Fuddrucker's. No booth service. You'll survive, I promise.

Their version of cosmic bowling...yet the pins are still under normal lighting!?!
    Lena B.

Experience: bought a groupon for cosmic bowling for 5 people for 2 hours to include shoe rental. It could only be used on Thurs, Fri & Sat. I invited a group of friends and we went to check it out. Facility: let me start out by saying, this is NOT cosmic bowling. They did have some blacklights, and some disco lights, but the lights were still lit on the lanes and pins. The pins did not have any fluorescent coloring, which is the funniest part about cosmic bowling. They barely had any fluorescent colors anywhere, so they could have just done without the blacklights completely. We kept joking and calling it disco bowling, not cosmic bowling. Other than that disappointment, the lanes were clean and in good shape. There were 18 lanes total, so not a very big bowling alley. There was only seating enough for 3 people in your lane, so that part was not good. There was some seating back always behind the lanes so other people could watch you. There was a small bar where we had some beers and a couple shots. Service: although the girl behind the bowling counter was a little sassy at first, the service was fine. Nothing to elevate or decrease their stars over. The bartender was nice and very helpful. Food: they have the menu from the burger joint next door, and bring the food over to you. The portions were a good size and the food was hot when they brought it out. I ordered a burger and fries. The fries were very good and even had a little seasoning on them. The burger was a little overdone for my liking, but it was still a decent burger. Overall: I would not come back for cosmic bowling again, as this was a joke, but it's a decent place for regular bowling. It's a little out of the way for me, so probably won't be my first suggestion to bowl in the future, but would come back to meet friends if they were coming.

3.5 rounded to 4. Came here for lunch on a wednesday at 11:30. Stood at the counter for a bit looking at the menu. Looks like you order your food and are given a number. You go sit at whatever table is available. They give you a cup for whatever drink you ordered. Water is free of course. You get your drinks yourself. I go with the Wild Burger ($7.99). A half pound charbroiled Angus Beef Patty topped with Tillamook Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Signature Slaw, Onions, and Pickle Planks on a Brioche Bun. Comes with a basket of fries. I ordered the burger medium rare. When it came out, it was closer to medium which was still ok it was still pretty juicy with every bite. The half pound patty is no joke. Lots of good flavor with all the ingredients mentioned above. As for the fries. It was ok. Nothing to write home about. Next time I think I just might order some wings for the guy at the next table ordered what looked like a dozen. Im assuming he got some kind of barbeque flavor for the aroma that filled the air as the server walked by my table temporarily cancelled out the smoke smell coming from the casino. Speaking of smoke, is it too much to ask for the open area leading out to the casino to be sealed somehow? Im pretty sure most if not all people dont want their food to taste like cigarettes. This is a major negative for me. I think maybe next time I will try to sit all the way in the back. Good things are that they are 24 hours, all the condiments that you will ever need are on all the tables, you get your drinks yourself so no waiting for the server, and there are tvs all around so if there is a big game chances are that it is on that channel. In closing, I have been told the other locations have their differences as well like not as smoke heavy as this place so I just might have to check those places out as well. As for this location, I guess eating here occasionally should not be an issue. Yelp 2014 365 Review Challenge #158 "If the place was on fire, would you be able to tell from the smoke?"

Crispy chicken salad with side order of onions. Generous sized sandwich and very filling.
    Kelly B.

This review is for the restaurant only. I've come to this location a few times after bowling with my son (the lanes are right next door). We both enjoy the crispy chicken sandwiches here. It's a very generous sized sandwich, and very filling. You get your choice of side as well. A meal with fountain drink will run you about $11. The only downside is that you can smell the cigarette smoke from the casino next door. There are tv's located inside the restaurant so you can always catch a game during the weekends.

We came here with a Groupon, on a mission to try something new. You know when you get into a restaurant rut and want to try something new, but are a bit nervous to branch out? What if the new place isn't good? What if you waste time, money and a precious meal on a place that's not tried and true? In short, I'm so glad we came! We weren't disappointed in the least! The restaurant is very nicely decorated, but you do get the casino ambiance (read: slot noises and cigarette smoke). It's clean and seems to be well-run. You order at the counter at the entrance. The menu is small; we ended up going the "Build Your Own" route. Prices are very fair. The "base price" ($6-7) covers your meat, bun, basic toppings and side. Add ons are 50 cents to a dollar. We both got 1/2 lb beef patties with various toppings. This is the way a burger should be! Juicy, cooked exactly to order, tastes like a "backyard bbq" burger. The fries are also really tasty! We'll be back, even without a Groupon!

    Og beer!

It was pretty good, nice size burger. It came with coleslaw on it, but I asked for mine on the side. Which I liked a lot better that way. The fries were so cute! They came in a metal basket, lol get it? A basket of fries They were seasoned just right. They also had a lot of old beer for sale. I remember these from when my parents use to drink it! Over all, it was ok. If I'm across the street and just in the mood for a burger. I think I will go back.

    Burger special with fries

Great burger special super yummy and their fries were really good as well! The only thing I did not like was their bottom bun was very soggy. I'm going to give it another try and hope I don't have the same problem if I do my stars will go down!

My choice was the BBQ Smash Burger with bacon, BBQ Sauce and fried onion rings and it exceeded my expectations in every way! The burger had so much flavor! The meat was very juicy and seasoned perfect, the BBQ sauce added just enough sweet and smokiness, and the crispy, salty bacon made this a truly an amazing burger! The onion rings were nearly as impressive as the burger itself! The breading was a perfect golden brown and very crunchy without feeling too greasy. The portions were large! Each bite was full of flavor and light enough to make it easy to not think about how many onion rings I was actually eating! I would say the combination of the burger and onion rings made this one of my better burgers that I have eaten in a while! What I liked as much about Aztec Burgers was how inexpensive the burgers are! It was both an extremely satisfying meal, as well as very cheap when compared to other restaurants with similar offerings in this area. The flavor, the size of the portions, and the price were all factors that contributed to such an amazing evening at Aztec Burgers! Aztec Burgers is one of those places I will definitely return to. With their outstanding smashburgers, the perfect fried onion rings, as well as their warm and casual service style, if you're anywhere near Henderson or Las Vegas and are looking for a burger that is both delicious, then you have to give Aztec Burgers a try! My husband and I stopped by for dinner around 3:30 P.M on a Friday at Smoke & Fire. The restaurant is located near South Pecos Road and East Russell Road. There was plenty of parking spots available. As I walked inside the restaurant, a team member had greeted us and let us know that it was open seating. There were only a few other customers inside the restaurant at the time we had dinner. There was plenty of tables inside and outside the restaurant though! TVs were situated throughout the restaurant. There was a variety of sports games playing. She also went through any dietary restrictions and some of their highlights at the restaurant, specifically, Smoke & Fire is known for their blueberry chicken sandwich. Sandwiches: Chicken Sandwiches, Brisket Sandwich, Donut Smashed Burger (Seasonal), Sliders Chicken and Waffles, Street Style Tacos, Chicken Tenders and more! After looking through the menu, we ultimately decided on the following 3 Meat Platter: Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, and Brisket with Mac N Cheese/Sweet Potato Tots The World Famous Blueberry Chicken Sandwich: Pepper Jack Cheese, Housemade Blueberry Jam, blueberry aioli, and Jalapeno. The service was super quick. I don't think we waited longer than 10 minutes for our meal. It was nice that our meal was served in to go containers as well! The highlight of the meal was the blueberry chicken sandwich. The chicken was juicy and tender. The blueberry aioli and the jam was scrumptious. This was a first time having a sandwich like this before! I would come back to Smoke & Fire just to get the sandwich. The BBQ pulled pork, pulled chicken and brisket was good. I enjoyed the mac n cheese and the sweet potato tots though! I don't normally see sweet potato tots so I just had to try it out! They were super crispy and packed with flavor. The food was yummy here and the service was fantastic! If I'm in the area again, I would stop by Smoke & Fire to have another meal. The meat is fantastic, the bun is excellent, but I'm just not a special sauce kind of person. All they need to do to make their burger really awesome is to carry some BBQ sauce. That's it. This entire establishment does not contain any form of BBQ sauce. Don't get me wrong, I am not somebody who would ever put it on a good steak! But burgers, wings, fries, this place offers a number of things that could be elevated by keeping a few bottles of BBQ in the fridge. Just give me the option, you don't even need to list it on the menu. I used to love the beef stroganoff that they had for a while, but I guess it must not have been popular because they got rid of it. It seems that in it's place they started offering a Shepards pie. I was excited about this meal until it arrived and the potatoes were filled with cheese. A Shepards pie does not traditionally have any cheese. So it is probably a good idea for the menu to mention that it is in there. In any case, I tried to order it sans the cheese but I guess it is pre mixed into the mash or something. They cant make it with no cheese. :( Lastly, and most depressingly, they took the shrimp appetizer off of the happy hour menu! This was a real kick-in-the-dick for me. I have probably came to BLVD Grille at least 10 times in the last year specifically because the happy hour $5 shrimp appetizer was so outstanding. I am genuinely depressed that they took it off the happy hour menu. I haven't tried the steaks yet, I want to, but most days, I'm just looking for some shrimp, a side of fries and a drink. We shared the prime rib special and got soup, shrimp cocktail and prime rib with corn and fries and a small piece of brownie for $24. Not a bad deal at all. Prime rib was a bit tough for most of the piece but the rest was decent to enjoy. It was good size. It was better 4yrs ago TBH. Towards the end of our meal, more ppl were seated in our area. There are probably only two reasons to come here: free weekly coupons from the players club mailers, or spending points earned via slots with the players card. Maybe a third, one-time reason, actually. I had a free entree from the first-time sign-up package. But I first got a salad with my choice of thousand island dressing. I only needed one cup of dressing for the salad, but I got two for some reason. The plant stuff was fresh and the generous amount of shredded cheese wasn't too bad. The entree was the Open Faced Hot Beef sandwich (usually $12.99). I was turned off immediately when I saw that they used average grocery store sliced white bread. Even worse, the beef wasn't tough and salty. The mashed potatoes and gravy were fine, but I ran out of it halfway through and could no longer mask the beef. I tried giving up on the meat and topped the limp bread with some of the jams available tableside. Then I stopped. On my second visit, I had a coupon for a Shrimp Louie Stuffed Avocado (normally $10.99). All of it was just way too bland. The dressing lacked any form of acidity or sweetness. I would have even welcomed something spicy even though I'm sensitive about that flavor. I stopped in again last night and opted for a special of the day, the Quesadilla Burger ($10.99). This was the most acceptable dish yet, but it still wasn't great. My patties were cooked beyond the requested medium, the cheese factor was minimal, and the generic mild salsa and sour cream felt like they were freshly removed from jars. As with other nearby casinos, checks are provided at the table but settled at the cash register near the exit. The most useful part may be their TVs with the internal ad loops, which often show you that you can actually use casino points at nearby restaurants which are consistently better. I will likely not return to Triple B much if at all since their sister casino Emerald Island's lone eatery is hit or miss, as opposed to this place which is just miss or miss.
