This place is amazing, it was everything we hoped it would be. The host are the sweetest & most welcoming couple. If your looking for a sanctuary surrounded by beauty, this is the place to be. Best part its in Wine country Az. Making it easy to do wine tasting with no worries everything is within walking distance. We looked forward to waking up to fresh brewed coffee every morning with little sticky notes. Everything was amazing from the hospitality, comfort of beds, to privacy, to the breakfast. It's a shame that there is five star max rating. This charming cottage-like B&B is a 5+! Tambrala and Bruce just "get it" when it comes to the hospitality business. From a warm greeting to showing us around the house proudly (and rightfully so) to the great breakfasts, I have never been more impressed with a B&B. I have always wanted to stay at The Vineyards Bed & Breakfast. I recently had the opportunity to stay while in the area for business. I must say it was everything I hoped for & more! Host Tambrala has thought of everything to make visitors feel right at home. I take coffee (and wine) seriously, and when Tambrala showed me where the half & half was in the mini fridge, I knew she had attention for detail, and knows what travelers like. The wine themed decor is so unique and the entire space is sparkling clean. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. The huge picture window & oversized sliding doors bring the outdoors in. The patio is great for drinking morning coffee while overlooking the vineyard next door. We stayed in the Chardonnay Suite. The bed was beyond comfortable. Extra blankets & pillows made it great on a chilly night. The bathroom is stocked with whatever you need. Our schedule didn't allow us to have breakfast there, but there were plenty of snacks, coffee and tea. I look forward to next time having one of those incredible breakfasts I've heard about. :) Tambrala has her finger on the pulse of the exploding Arizona wine industry & tasting rooms. We completely enjoyed our stay here. The property is green and lush, with a creek running through it. We were lucky to get the Tiki Treehouse...adorable (see photos) with a private deck overlooking the pool and fun Tiki bar! Our hosts were friendly and personable and you could feel that they love their B and B. It is only 15 minutes from hiking in Sedona. We had such a fantastic time staying at The Vineyards, so much so that I'm not even sure where to start! Perhaps the best place to begin is to thank the folks that made it all happen, our lovely hosts, Tambrala and Bruce! They are both so enthusiastic and incredibly thoughtful. We immediately felt welcome when they invited us to join them later on our first evening as they entertained friends at the Tiki Bar by the pool. We were treated like part of the group of pals and had a fantastic evening hanging out, relaxing, and enjoying some food and drinks with the group. We imagine that if we had spent more time there, we would have definitely hopped in the pool at some point- that's a really great feature to have in the AZ heat! Our room (The Chardonnay) was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for the two of us. We were very impressed by the breakfast and were never without coffee, which is a huge positive! Bruce was kind enough to make one of his signature dishes dairy free so that both my husband and I could enjoy the same gorgeous meal one of the mornings. I know that modifying a single serving can be a real pain, but the extra time he took to ensure a good breakfast for me did not go unnoticed! (Might I add, I didn't even miss the dairy-- it was absolutely delicious!!) We very much enjoyed our adventures in the Wine Wagon; that's definitely something to consider doing if you'd like to explore the winer things in Sedona without anyone having to drive! (Yeah, I made that pun and I know Bruce and Tamberla are loving it-- that's how generous they are.) Bruce was great at giving tips on different places to check out on the tour and was a wonderful companion while we drove from place to place. I can't finish this review without giving a shout out to one of our favorite new pals, Zin the puppy... our hosts made it clear that the family pets could be kept out of our way, but we were not subtle about how much we loved Zin and her older siblings. If you're in need of some adorable puppy love, make sure you get here to soak it up! We loved our time drinking coffee on the patio in the mornings, exploring around the area on hikes, looking up at the stars at night, and all the other charming little perks of staying at The Vineyards. What a wonderful peaceful place! This treasure is tucked away in Arizona wine country. It's gently rustic with every creature comfort. Owner Tambrala has thought of everything a guest could want. We stayed in the Tiki Treehouse, which was whimsically decorated, spotlessly clean and pleasantly private. We had the option of a continental breakfast brought to us, or a full breakfast with the other guests (2 couples). We opted for the full breakfast, which was amazing! If you're celebrating a birthday or anniversary, or just getting away from the kids, this is the perfect choice (get the Tiki Treehouse!)! read more

Bruce and Tambrala knocked it out of the park with this bed and breakfast. It's exactly like a bed and breakfast should be, not like the rest of those Sedona "bed and breakfasts" which are really just glorified motels with cheap continental breakfasts. The entire property is gorgeous. It is an absolute paradise. The house with the guest rooms is cozy, quiet, clean, and of course beautiful. It's like a home away from home...except with lux amenities and breathtaking scenery. Tip: go to the wineries first , THEN bring back your bottle to enjoy poolside or out in the garden. If you stop here first, you won't want to leave to go to any wine tastings! In the morning after your stay, your join other guests in the dining room for a sit-down meal that is served to you while you enjoy your coffee in your pajamas. Fresh fruit, delicious eggs, pastries...they change it up every time (I've been here a couple of times...) and every time it's delicious. The coolest part of the breakfast experience, besides the home-cooked tastiness, is sitting and chatting with the other travelers as you linger over coffee. This place has given me the best Bed & Breakfast experiences I've ever had. If you're going to Sedona for the weekend, stay at the Vineyards. It's worth every penny. read more

This B&B is one of those places...the one that makes you go "ohhhhhhhh" when you turn down the drive toward the property. The one that makes you look at each other and grin thinking "we nailed it!" Bruce and Tambrala have created an awesome estate that makes you want to stay as long as you possibly can. From the heart felt reception that includes hugs and laughs to the little things that are all placed so perfectly. We couldn't find a single detail missing. Beyond the property, the entire family makes you feel welcomed every moment you're there. They also know the area very well and can provide lots of information to make your days exploring the absolute best. As a hint, when you hear Tambrala singing to herself in the mornings as she's milling around creating your perfect day and you think to yourself "she has a really beautiful voice", she does. If your really lucky, she and Bruce will break out the guitar and amaze you even more. The Vineyards B&B is one of the most affordably priced locations in the Verde Valley and Sedona area and we will, without a doubt, go back in the near future. Thanks for the great times! We had an awesome experience at the Vineyards B&B. Our room was wonderful and the bed so comfortable. We had an adjoining bath with a great shower and lovely 2 person jetted tub which was so relaxing. The breakfasts were just amazing! We even asked for recipes! The grounds are so lovely and the host dogs friendly and watchful. This is our first time ever staying in a B&B, and I think we hit the best right out of the gate. Mark and I were celebrating our 13th anniversary, and it was absolutely PERFECT. The tiki house is perfect for couples. We are beach people so a B&B in a winery area wouldn't be our first choice, but I think our vacation minds have been expanded forever now. Tambrala and Bruce welcomed us with big hugs and a genuine warmth. Bruce's breakfast were amazing, and he even took my request for eggs Benedict. Absolutely delicious. They helped us navigate the area to hit the best restaurants and wineries. We did their wine tour and went to DA Ranch Winery which was stunning and so fun. Not for me, one of the most uncomfortable 24 hours... We arrived at Vineyards Bed and Breakfast around 2:30pm on Sunday afternoon. It was a lovely property. Before our arrival we had made arrangements with Tambrala and Bruce to get a ride for a charge to Jerome. We learned that the nice van was broken and that we would be getting into their old mini van for this trip. OK, no big deal, yet is very dirty, one seat belt did not work, AC was not amazing, but hey we can go with the flow. Once we made it to Jerome, Tambrala says I will meet you girls here at 5pm. OK, off we go. Keep in mind we are on a girl weekend to celebrate our friends 40th birthday. We had lunch, shopped and went to a few tasting rooms. We where about 20 minutes late for our pick up, and you could tell Tambrala was not happy with us, yet as the owner she did not have the contact info of the girl that booked the trip to call us. Keep in mind we are on vacation and we paid her $150 for the car ride. It was about 20 miles from B+B. Once we got back to B+B, we where able to settle into our rooms, one group in the main house, with older newlyweds across the hall ( which was not told to us during our booking at the B+B), and the other girls in the tree house off the pool. We start to move all of our things, Tambrala and Bruce do not offer any help, Yet Bruce was very quick to remind us do not leave the doors open as the A/C is running. We where less then 1 step away with suitcases, tons of bags in our arms and lots of stuff. Yet, we still just keep smiling and trying to enjoying our "adventure" as I was calling it. Now its time to get ready for dinner. I went to my room, its over 80* and I notice the A/C thermostat in hallway and I lower the AC. There was a key to do this, but it was in the box. I accidentally left the key on my dresser when we left for dinner and as we are almost finishing up at dinner, the girl in our group who made the reservation received a text that was at least 10 lines long, scolding us about the AC, telling us that going into the kitchen was not allow, ( I never once went near the kitchen) and so on. So now it's getting very uncomfortable. We get back to the house and Tambrala is sitting in the living room waiting for us, I quickly apologized for leaving the key in my room. At this point there is conflict with Tambrala. She was telling us making her wait earlier in the day was bad manners, taking the key for the AC would cause the AC to break if it ran too long. At this point, I was trying to be understanding but I am a paying customer, it is Arizona in June, and I felt like we where being scolded way to often for a vacation that was supposed to be fun and relaxing. And mostly I never thought running the AC was going to be an issue. Moving forward to going to bed, the tree house was set and could not move AC past 80*, the poor girls roasted, sweated, said their bed sheet smelled like mildew and woke up very unhappy. We slept ok, in the main house, we had boxed fan in window, but I did not enjoy getting up mid night to cross the hall to go to the bathroom. Monday AM: the tree house girls are super grumpy, tired they slept less then 3 hours, and ready to move to another hotel. We need to go to breakfast its at 9. Once again, in vacation mode we are running late. We go there 915, and yet again Tambrala and Bruce where not please, I did not know my parents where on the trip and I am 10? Needless to say, once breakfast was over, after a few random digs here and there Bruce ask us so tomorrow I like to serve everyone at one time. Should we push breakfast back? All of us girls came to breakfast at same time, I did not know I was on the newlyweds schedule. Now our 5 girls have turned into 7 and things are just not going well. We make the choice to call other hotels in the Sedona area and tell Tambrala and Bruce that we are leaving 1 1/2 days early. Tambrala started to cry and "wanted to make it right" yet when we tried to speak with her the night before it was going now where. We packed up our things and left for an environment that would allow us to run to AC, be a few minutes late, pick what we wanted to eat, and RELAX. I would never stay here as I felt they want 100% control of you while you are their guest. Lastly and the most odd part was Tambrala and Bruce did not have a clue where we made new reservations, and we go to a tasting room up the road and all of sudden Tambrala walks in, kind of like she was following us? It was very creepy, and VERY uncomfortable. read more

This place is absolutely magical! The location is perfect distance from Javelina Leap, Oak Creek, and Page Springs wineries. Not only is it close to some good wine tasting, but the bed and breakfast itself is so lovely it's almost hard to leave it to go out and about. First to Alissa D....You poor thing...Please please please never come back. It's people like you that think the whole world revolves around them. Maybe you should understand what a B&B is, before you bash and understand that humans run these things and stuff happens. If you want maids and butlers you need to go to a different location. B&B's are not your personal playground and touching things are not up to you to do. if you wanted a private bathroom, should have reserved the room with a private bathroom, but believe me no one cares about your bathroom requirements. B &B's are run on the hosts time not the guests....GET IT!!! One other thing no one is staking you.... get over yourself. You know how they say you can't please all the people all the time? We'll if you've never been to The Vineyards bed and Breakfast, read the reviews...everyone says the same thing ( except one ). Charming, Romantic, Stunning. This place is very special for a few reasons. Lets start with the owners Tambrala and Bruce, they had a dream and made it happen....Please come into their lives and share their dream. Every once in a while you meet special people and these two are extra special people. Friendly...yes....welcomed hosts...yes but what they really do is make you feel special. Bruce is chef boy o boy... his breakfasts are amazing. Tambrala is an amazing person smart and beautiful...what a combo. her vision and dream is all around you and their pride and challenges are interesting to hear and appreciative. A beautiful family, two wonderful kids...17 and 14. Just be prepared to be pampered and becoming part of their family. It's an experience you will never forget. A few things I would like to say to anyone who goes to this wonderful place...It's not a hotel, they are not a butler and maid...so if you want that don't go here. But if you want a Taste of Paradise then this is a must go and a repeat go. Wineries are all over the valley and Bruce knows them all. The wine tour is a must and you get to go to a very special place ( exclusive ). Well worth it... At night sitting around the tiki bar I laughed till my stomach hurt. What a jewel! My husband and I booked the Tiki Tree House for a romantic weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived, Tambrala and Bruce made us feel like we were long-lost friends. The Tree House was amazing! It was so wonderful to fall asleep with the windows open, listening to the creek outside right outside our door. For breakfast on our first morning, Bruce prepared a fresh fruit compote lightly drizzled with a sweet cream sauce, orange/cranberry scones, and a goat cheese, red pepper quiche with country potatoes. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Kudos to the Chef! The location couldn't have been better; Page Springs Cellar; Javelina Leap and Oak Creek Vineyards are right up the street (bonus: Merkin Vineyards' grapes are growing right next door to The Vineyards - very cool to watch them harvest the grapes from the Tree House balcony!). Page Springs is about 15 mins northeast of Cottonwood. We recently discovered this hidden gem when we were invited by our close friends who have gone a few times before. The owners, Tambrala & Bruce were such wonderful hosts and we had tons of fun with them. We can't thank them enough for their hospitality & generosity during our stay. We stayed in the beautifully decorated Chardonnay room that sleeps 4, a king and a sofa bed (& a private bath across the hall). The house was charming and cozy with beautiful scenery all around the 2 acre property. They have a beautiful swimming pool and hot tub for guests to use. We were excited to have them join us to celebrate our friend's birthday and offered to take us to Page Springs Cellars for wine tasting & dinner, Up the Creek for dessert & drinks and the good ole "OC" for a little dancin'! Ended the night with a glass of wine back at the B&B listening to Bruce play guitar and Tambrala & Bruce's beautiful singing. Beds were very comfortable and woke up to yummy fresh coffee and a tasty home cooked breakfast! Wow x 100!! Then we took a stroll to the creek nearby and took one last look at the beautiful scenery of the tall surrounding trees, gorgeous flowers and smell of the fresh air. My husband and I stayed in The Tiki Tree House for 2 nights and absolutely loved it!! It is decorated so beautifully and has a full kitchen, bathroom with a double sink and large shower, lots of space and a deck in front overlooking the creek and also one in back overlooking the pool and tiki bar. The main house, where we had breakfast, and the property in general is gorgeous! Of course, what made the stay most enjoyable were Tambrala and Bruce (the owners), who are so much fun. We really enjoyed talking with them and appreciated their recommendations and suggestions for what to do in the area and for the rest of our road trip to Prescott. This truly is one of a kind. Your home away from home. Bruce and Tambrula went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We had a great time exploring the huge property with views to die for and doing a wine tasting near by. They are located in between a vineyard and another property with llamas, alpacas, goats, etc. Oak creek runs through the base of the property as well. This was the most relaxing get away we have had. First time with a bed and breakfast and we could not have been more spoiled! They treat you like family. The grounds are very well groomed and make you feel very relaxed. I can't say enough about the breakfast. You come together as total strangers at the breakfast table and you leave feeling like friends. The owners serve an amazing breakfast and sit and chat with you. They make you feel like you are visiting a friends cabin, but they don't make you do dishes! If you want a nice relaxing getaway in a quiet, peaceful place, this is it. If you're the type of person that enjoys nature, tranquility, gardens, places full of character and meeting new people you owe it to yourself to stay here! The bed and breakfast is really close to several well-known wineries in the Cottonwood / Sedona area but you don't need to be a wine drinker to enjoy the B & B. There are a lot of other area attractions and restaurants that are a short drive away. My husband and I visited some of the wineries and a museum in the area, but honestly we also could have just stayed on the B & B grounds all weekend enjoying the pool and hot tub, playing cards, and chatting with the owners because this place is so comfortable and fun. We visited The Vineyards to celebrate our anniversary and were made to feel at home right away by Bruce and Tambrala. After you spend 15 minutes with this couple, you know they have found their calling in life. These are the types of people you want owning a B & B! Our room and bathroom were spacious, had a classic yet unique decor, and all parts of the house were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious both mornings we stayed there and they easily accommodated different diet restrictions. Seriously, if you're in the area YOU NEED TO STAY HERE. THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY!! The Vineyards B&B was such a perfect location to stay. We walked to three different wineries, and there is a 4th a bit further away. Tambrala was such a great host, friendly, very engaging! She gave us the inside scoop on a nature trail from one winery to the other 2. So nice to not worry about driving, and just enjoy the day. The B&B itself was so beautiful, we felt right at home. Tambrala has thought of everything you could possibly need. Perfect for couple or Girl's get away like us. By the time Sunday came- we felt so relaxed, like we had spent the w/e at a day spa! The area around the B&B is so peaceful, it was nice to sit outside, chat, and enjoy the surroundings. A special treat was our am visitors in Maya & Zin- Tambrala's dogs- so sweet! I promise you will not be disappointed in staying here. We stayed in the Villa, - it has 2 King Suites, one also has a queen pull out couch. So much room to relax-inside and out. Tambrala also let us see the Tree House- such a fun little casita- with a full kitchen and balcony. We stayed in the beautiful and spacious Cabernet suite on our honeymoon. We could not have chosen a better or more romantic destination! The lush grounds are right on Oak Creek - surrounded by vineyards. Bruce and Tambrala are wonderful hosts and made us feel most welcome. Breakfast was excellent and they had many recommendations for fun things to do and wonderful places to eat nearby. As my husband and I are the "Older Newlyweds" mentioned in the one poor review this lovely property has received, I do feel compelled to respond to said review. First, I was taken aback that the reviewer was surprised that we (the "Older Newlyweds") were there. The property has 2 bedrooms and the Tree House. They booked 2 of these sleeping areas, so naturally the other would be available to other guests. My feeling is that the reviewer has not had much experience staying at a B&B. Perhaps she didn't realize you are actually staying in someone's home as a guest - a paying guest - but still a guest. This is truly a place to get away from it all and I definitely got the feeling they wanted to be in the middle of everything. When we arrived at the property, the ladies were not there. As I found out from the review, Tambrala had taken them to Jerome. The review is a bit misleading. Yes, it is about 20 miles to Jerome but the trip takes a bit over 30 minutes each way...so this was a 2 hours out of Tambrala's day. Being made to wait is rude. My new husband and I went for a lovely dinner at Up the Creek, recommended by our host who graciously made the reservations for us. It is a beautiful restaurant, right on Oak Creek...very romantic. About 45 minutes into our meal, 5 ladies were seated at the table next to us. They were very loud and talking over each other - kind of ruining the mood. Yes, it was indeed our fellow guests at the Vineyards. Oh well, we finished up and went back to the property. We met with Tambrala by the pool (did I mention the pool?!?) and she asked us if by any chance we had adjusted the thermostat and taken the key. We were perfectly comfortable with the temperature setting as it was and told her that. We then went stargazing on their amazing property. When we returned, Tambrala was explaining to two of the ladies that unlocking and changing the temperature was inappropriate and they could have asked to have the temperature lowered. One of these ladies asked if we were comfortable, we replied yes and went to our room to enjoy the Jacuzzi tub. The next morning, we got our coffee and sat on the porch in the rocking chairs, enjoying the lovely day and their cute puppy Zin. At 9 (not on OUR schedule...9:00 is the scheduled time for breakfast. Not a secret, they tell you that) we were invited in for a delightful breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, potatoes and a chorizo burrito made with fresh tortillas and chorizo from the Mexican market in town. We were just about finished when the ladies showed up 25 minutes late. I understand the frustration of our hosts. This is not Denny's where you can show up as you please. (I knew nothing about the Jerome trip and the ladies being late at that time...but I do sense a theme.) A couple of the ladies were trying to make conversation but the others were real unpleasant - we could not wait to leave the table and go to our room and get ready for our day. When we emerged to go to the local wineries, Tambrala informed us the ladies had left and gone to Sedona - where they should have gone to begin with. We did a happy dance! This beautiful property was all ours! Tambrala offered to drive us to Page Springs Cellars, which is only a mile or so up the road and we happily accepted her offer. I assume we were driven in the mini-van mentioned in the review, but I saw no issue with the vehicle. Since the day before Tambrala had made reservations for the ladies at Page Springs, she went in with us to let them know she was not sure they were still going to be there. Nothing creepy about that. We all saw them and, since they had already impeded on our evening the night before, we had no desire to be anywhere near them...we went on down the road to the next winery. I totally agree with 2 statements in that review. It is a lovely property and it is not for you. We've already booked our next stay! Can't wait to come back in October. The best girls weekend!! When booking a getaway for a group, it can be a bit of a challenge to accomplish home away from home bliss for all. But Tambrala was more then up for the challenge, answering an array of questions, offering suggestions, and personalizing our stay down to the last detail. She was an amazingly accommodating hostess, a joy to work with, both professional and personable. Bruce was so helpful as well, we loved the evening fire, and tasty breakfast! They have worked hard to turn this dream of their's into a reality. The beds were wonderfully comfortable and the ambiance of the B&B were so much more then we could have anticipated. Fabulous, homey, comfortable, very clean and oh so relaxing! Exactly what we needed to celebrate our 50th birthdays ! When you think about a bed and breakfast, this is exactly what one would picture! Beautiful setting, gorgeous land and trees, fabulous and friendly inn keepers, the most comfortable beds and such a delicious big breakfast. Tambrala and Bruce shared all their secret recipes, we can't wait to try them at home. Yummy! Tambrala and Bruce made everything so wonderful and easy for us. They have outdone themselves with making sure they take care of all your details, from showing you which wineries to visit, where to have lunch and dinner, where to shop and they make sure you get to relax! The Vineyards Bed & Breakfast was absolutely the most amazing getaway! Everything about it was breath taking. Tambrala and Bruce are two of the most genuine, happy, and heart-warming people I have ever met, and they were truly the ones that made the stay complete. Bruce- your breakfast was cooked to perfection every morning! I wouldn't have wanted my breakfast made by any other restaurant in town! Tambrala- your hospitality and pure kindness made our stay so memorable. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to get to know us and make us feel right at home. From the beautiful creek that flows behind the property to the wonderful view just outside out window's, there was never a moment that we looked around and weren't pleased. This is the perfect place to fall in love all over again with your significant other, or would also be the perfect weekend getaway for a family to just hang out and reconnect without any outside distractions. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms immaculate and the breakfasts five star. What makes it stand out is Bruce and Tambrala. Their warmth and hospitality pulls you in from the minute you meet them. There is nothing they haven't thought of to make you feel relaxed, welcome and special. The passion they have for the area is infectious. Arizona's wine industry has grown tremendously and Bruce and Tambrala can direct you to the area's best. Truly wonderful wines and fabulous meals in this small town, not to mention some of the best hiking Arizona has to offer. Come discover it while you can.
