DEAR ORKIN PEST CONTROL OWNER. You sent me a message and told me to call customer care. I have been in contact with them since January they failed to remove 1 charge. I still have $91 on my bill. The total balance I own is $182. I asked them to remove $91 which was still on my bill and they give me the big run around. Lily and Sam were the ladies in your customer care department that failed to help me. I told them if those 2 services were removed I would pay the balance of $91. I asked to cancel my services until it is paid and twice they have sent me notices that they are coming to spray! What is the issue with your team!?!?! I fail to understand as to why it is so hard or difficult to get any part of this done! I Been with orkin for over 10 years this is the 2nd time out of the 10 years that I called in to request service for inside the houses due to seeing more spiders and bugs. My appointment with orkin was 7/24 from 8am to 10pm. My wife had to take half day off work and we had to drop the kids off at my parents house because after the service we have to leave the house for 2-4 hours. I everything is fine, problem is no one showed up !!! My wife waited till 12 and left to work. A orkin tech called me at 12:30 saying no one is comming out they have to reschedule for tomorrow. That's kinda pointless because we already took half day off work and drop the kids off so orkin can do the service inside. This is Terrible service, we use terminix at our office for 15 years+ as well and never had experience anything like this. If you're not going to come at least call between 8-10 to let us know NOT at 12 noon. No appoligies or anything like it was my mistake this happened. I already canceled my service with orkin and will ever use any service from orkin again and will make sure none of my family members or friends use orkin service because I will tell them of my experience. Who ever made the mistake on our appointment should be fired because we never received a call from anyone saying orkin is not comming. I had a good experience with this company until they came out to do the job. They installed bait stations around my home. I wasn't home during the installation but I came home to a mess. Obviously they had to dig to insert the stations into the ground but it's also obvious that there was no attempt to clean up after. Totally unprofessional way to leave a client's home after performing a service. I have called the company and left a message on its website but haven't received any communication after several days. I've been with Orkin for a few years now in Squaw Valley, CA. In my opinion, I find it to be great pest control service. Decent prices too. All the problems I've been having when we first moved up here are now resolved. Our Orkin Tech is Shiloh Beaird route 14. He is always on time, and he is always kind. He listens to our needs about our pest control problems and gives great advice on what we should do to help keep our home bug free. Not very many pest control services comes up here so we are very appreciative of the service he provides and the awesome energy he gives each time he's here. I was recommended by a friend for service with Orkin. My first appointment they was on time after that they would just send me a text that they are scheduled to come out, and I try calling them that I would not be available that day. Ohhhhh they would have you on hold forever. They even say to press 1 and they would have someone call you back but no one does. Later one of there tech called me and said he can come out the next day but I told him I would not be available. He said he didn't need to come inside just to spray the outside of the home. I told him that wasn't my issue and that my issue was cockroaches in the home. So he told me he would come spray the outside and will come by the weekend to spray inside. No one showed up on the weekend. I try calling them and they had me on hold forever just to hang up on me. I will never ever use their service again read more

Ever since Orkin bought out Tamarack, the quality of service has tanked. Their first guy never called in advance, then showed up and only did the front yard because the back was locked. At least he apologized, but eventually he got fired for multiple no shows. The current guy is even worse. He gaslights like crazy. Says he always calls in advance but never does. Shows up at random times and blames me for being difficult when I act surprised and annoyed. It's bad enough to have lousy service, but the emotional abuse on top of that is too much. I will not be asking them back again even though I have one more month on my contract. read more

If I could I would give zero stars. Let me start by saying there are not enough apologies for this company, if they would simply deliver on contracts made, service contracts efficiently, and bill correctly they would not need to apologize so freakin much. In the four to five month period I had service with Orkin they actually serviced my account correctly once!!! How difficult is it to stick to the day that was agreed upon for service to begin with?? I asked for Mondays and was assured yes yes no problem. It was a big problem apparently because after four complaints because they kept getting the day wrong I canceled my services. The department Manager even got involved, apologized, adjusted my billing ( hummm thank you for not charging me?) I say this because I shouldn't have been charged to begin with!!!! The reasoning I was given? Sorry we are turning over our staff at present time. How is this my issue?? I work in customer service!!!! I do not get to say sorry your receiving such horrible service or rather sorry for the lack of efficiency but I'm hiring people right now. Save your apologies and get it together!!!! read more

The first call I made was to their corporate office, I was a little mislead by them as far as what they are able to treat but from that point on I only dealt with the guys here in Fresno, and they have been nothing but honest, polite, and professional. They unfortunately could not help treat my problem, but they gave me a refund with no hassle whatsoever. They sounded genuinely concerned that they were unable to help, and throughout the whole experience with them I received excellent customer service. I have fully paid for all this Orkin Pest control for Termites. They have to come out once a year & inspect your property. Today they were supposed to show up & of course, they didn't show up again. This is about the 6 or 7th time. People are busy & you shouldn't have to reschedule over & over because THEY DON'T show up. Skip Orkin as they get your money then they don't do their job...at all. If this was the first no show, i would accept it but this happens EVERY single time & they are a complete waste of your time. They were supposed to be here between 10-12. We called at 1130 to let them know no one was here & they still insisted he was coming. Do yourself a favor. Get termite protection somewhere else. read more

It seems Orkin believes they can raise your rates without giving you a 30 day notice and even if you are on an annual plan. This company deserves zero stars. They didn't show up to multiple appointments or spot call. Reports were wrong. Services were wrong. I spoke with a manager named Bill who promised to make it right and no email or follow up. They never call to inform you they are going to be late or miss the appointment. Their customer service is horrible and our service contract should be null and void.... I saved all my service reports and emails and I cancelled the business today with them. I should have read the bad reviews first. I made an appointment for them to come out to give a quote on a Saturday. I rearranged my schedule to be home during the 4 hour window they gave me, when no one showed I called to see what happened. I was told they don't travel to my town on Saturday. They have changed since they've taken over Home Team pest which we were originally signed up with before it was bought over. It is so sad that service has completely diminished when this company took over. They don't show up on time to their appointments. They also have false advertisement. It is a lie when they say "free of charge for return services". It's false advertisement, THEY WILL CHARGE YOU for coming back and they actually only let you do it once or twice a year. Appointment was a 2 hour window. 15 minutes before the end of that window still no show so I called and was told that the technician still had 15 minutes and to call back if he did not show. So surprise surprise 15 minutes later still no show. Called back and was told local office was now closed and they would submit my complaint and request to reschedule. I used to have Tamarak pest control but they were bought out by this company about 5 months ago. I loved Tamarak they always took the time to make sure everything was taken care of. Then they sold their company to Orkin and everything went downhill. They moved our pest guy to another route and sent a guy who was nice but not very thorough. Then they kept screwing up on our bill and not charging me even though I gave them my cc several times. Then when I called to cancel they said I didn't owe them anything at that time and I asked the gal on the phone twice because I didn't want anymore surprises. Weeeellllll sure enough we get a 150$ bill in the mail. I figured maybe they had forgotten that I canceled my service so I just left it alone. Then they sent us a notice saying they were going to send it to collections so my hubby just paid it and left it alone. I feel bad after seeing all these terrible reviews! We have tried another pest control company before and they were HORRID. For the same price! Orkin has treated two of our houses and I literally don't see anymore live bugs within hours of their treatment. Juan services our house and he is AMAZING. That man remembered us after not seeing us for two years. By name! They get all the spiderwebs, cobwebs, and old nests down. They also tell you if you should fix something or change something to prevent the pests from coming back. Orkin is the only pest control place that puts something in the poison to keep roaches from reproducing as well. Great job Juan! read more
