quick to reply online and gave me an estimate through yelp. when i called to schedule an in home estimate a week in advance they told me they would be here on friday at 10. one week later no call no show. when i called they said unfortunately no one will be able to be there until 2pm. um ok? and when were you planning on telling me this? i'm guessing never. very unprofessional. i'm glad this wasn't my move out date. save your time find someone else. Update: so the day of this review, the owner of the company Alex (that initially dismissed me in a nonchalant way when i questioned if they were ever planning on calling me and telling me they weren't going to show up as promised for an in home estimate) called me multiple times only AFTER this review was posted and tried to reason with me to get me to CHANGE my review (not to resolve my issue of them wasting my time which i found pretty funny and indicative of what they think of their customers). after i told him i was not interested in his services any further and hung up, he harassed me multiple times with phone calls from multiple numbers (after i rejected and blocked several numbers) and even went as far as to have someone else message me through yelp to tell me that my review wasn't a fair representation of this company and that I don't value what it takes to raise a business in today's day and age. Well for starters as a former business owner, you should do service recovery BEFORE ever letting a customer hang up/ leave disappointed especially if they communicate that dissatisfaction to you and I too am a working individual who's time is valuable, so to have someone tell me otherwise makes it seem as if their business is independent of customer satisfaction. Needless to say i was mentally exhausted after a day of harassment and refrained from updating my review on the day that all of this was happening for fear of retaliation and further harassment-but if i could save just one more individual from losing their precious time (and might i add money since i had to take off from work for this!) then i can consider this worth it. After multiple attempts and running out of options, Alex decided to respond to my original review by stating it was all a "MISUNDERSTANDING". I'm sorry but there was no misunderstanding because i requested a quote through yelp for a TWO bedroom apartment and the quote mentioned if i would like an in home estimate to call them which i did. if it truly was a misunderstanding then why wasn't i stopped from booking an in home estimate over the phone after REPEATING that I am moving out from a TWO bedroom? sounds super shady to me. read more

This was a very disappointing experience. They interviewed me over the phone and we discussed the square footage of my home and everything in it. I asked if they needed to come see the home and they said no, they had what they needed. They then showed up with a truck that was too small for all of my belongings. When they couldn't finish loading the truck they first tried to get me to leave some things behind. When I insisted they move everything they decided to move what was in the truck and make a second trip for the rest. They eventually got everything moved. When I asked them to discount the price for the hour they spent driving back and forth for the second load, they said absolutely not and that wasn't their fault or responsibility. So in the end the move took longer and cost more because the moving company didn't plan properly for the job. I would not recommend using this company. Everybody makes mistakes and good businesses take responsibility for them. Sadly this is not a good business. read more

I was looking to do a small move with bedroom and living room furniture with under 20 boxes from an apartment into storage unit. I called multiple companies and each was available for date I needed but the time frame and pricing was ridiculous. I would of done the move myself however my apartment is located on the second floor with no elevator and I needed to purchase moving supplies to wrap my furniture properly and that would be an even more expense. Every company I spoke to wanted at least $400 plus and that was on a timeframe so the movers could easily just take their time and charge me an extra hundred dollars for each additional hour, oh and did I mention travel was also included in that two hour timeframe? The location alone from my apartment to storage unit was 40 minutes away! I was feeling hopeless until I spoke to Orlando express movers who offered me a flat rate that was very affordable, no hidden fees taxes nothing! I was so happy! Plus they received great reviews! They gave me a time frame that I was very happy with. They even called me when they were 20 min out letting me know they are almost there! They brought all the packing supplies I needed and carefully took apart and wrapped all items and stored neatly in truck. They also assisted with placing all my items neatly in storage unit. I chose Orlando Express Movers based on the positive Yelp reviews I read, and I was not disappointed. They exceeded my expectations in every way. Alex gave me a binding quote over the phone without seeing what needed to be transported, and he was later able to inventory the move in person. He gave me a LOWER quote after seeing that, which I really appreciated. This was a very small, out of state move, and I was concerned my belongings would be loaded into another move. As he promised, my shipment arrived within 30 minutes (early!) of when he said it would AND it was in a truck all by itself.
