I had the ribs which were pretty good. Wife got the buffalo chicken wrap which was really goo. Fries and mashed potatoes which came with the ribs were nothing special but given a choice I would rather the main entree be good as opposed to the sides. Service was good and food came out quick. Busyyyy!!! Came here after Jummah last week and this place was PACKED. Mind you, there are two people running the restaurant while they cook so the wait was over 30 minutes for our gyro and philly cheeses teak. The gyro lacked flavor but the cheese steaks were great! Came back here after almost 6 years...and were very disappointed, to say the least. The place was completely empty on a Sunday afternoon...that should've been a sign but we really wanted some sandwiches, so we stayed and ordered in. We had a Cuban and a turkey sub. The Cuban was just okay...lacking in flavor as well as substance (just very thin and bland-tasting). The turkey sub was on a thick loaf of bread, so all you could taste was bread and it overwhelmed the flavor of everything else...but the sandwich had random toppings like raw onion slices and olives too. Neither of us were very happy w/ what we had. Even the fries tasted old and a bit soggy. Best part- while we ate, the cook stepped outside to smoke but left the door open so my family got to enjoy a nice batch of second-hand smoke along w/ a disappointing $23 meal. My husband and I were on a trip to Orlando and found this place on yelp we ordered take out. The food was very decent priced, but what we ordered was not impressive at all. My husband got the Cuban sandwich which was Turkey cold cuts on a hero,pressed into a panini it was very disappointing. I ordered a steak sandwich, which was very dry and it wasn't steak at all. The place was hard to find at first, but a hole in the wall is never to be doubted. Seating area was very small, and the decor was very plain....they could use at least a TV. They dont have a soda machine, so.boooo. but they do have free wifi, a clean bathroom, and good menu choice with pictures to illustrate what the come out as. They definitely could use some help in customer service cuz I waited for my food for 10 mins and the place wasn't even that busy. I ordered the Philly shawarma with friesfor only 9 bucks, and it tasted really good! My family who live in ft lauderdale took my husband, kids and myself....all visitors to Florida to this place for gyros etc. It was a large order and they gave us one sandwich short...after paying over one hundred plus dollars. They were adamant and insisted we were wrong. We had all the food in front of us and one was clearly missing. The bill had it however they refused to acknowledge and ignored us. It's only when we decided to stop being nice and raised our voices to have all customers hear, reluctantly went to make 1 sandwich. 1 sandwich! At that point we refused it. If you make food out of anger, Lord knows what you did behind the scenes. So they have lost the patronage of a large family and others who realise what they did due to 1 sandwich that they refused to admit was their error. Me and my family live in Coral Springs, FL, but everytime we visit Orlando, we make it a priority to get food from Slims (also because they're halal) TOO BAD they're customer service isn't so halal! They always ruin our order, always forget items that we've ordered AND PAID FOR. And when we do let them know we're missing a burger or an order of fries, they don't believe us!!! It's horrendous! What happened to the customer is alwats right?? Secondly, for usual - repeat customers who go here regularly, why would we try to pull a fast one for an extra burger???? Come on. Don't go to this restaurant if you have some dignity. The worst experience ever since. I paid for my food and the guy was rude from the beginning but I said that is okay. I waited for 20 minutes and my order was not ready, and when I went to check for it, the guy didn't even started. He didn't not say sorry at least. He prepared my food and when he gave it to me some pieces of food dropped down and he returned it in my dish with his dirty hands. I'm from Buffalo New York Visiting Disneyland. My daughter got the chicken wings and they were actually really good and crispy. I had a Philly cheesesteak which was good but a little dry. This place is very much a hole in the wall type of restaurant. There is 5 or 6 tables, and the walls are covered with picture-menus and lists of today's specials and side dishes. Good food selection, lots of different types of Kebabs, Gyros, Burgers, Philly Cheesesteaks, Buffalo wings, sharwama rice, Philly shawarma, shrimp, fish, smoothies, falafel, kofta, hummus, french fries... the cheese steak I had was good.
