Their lamb diner was delicious! I asked my waiter for some extra seasoning because I like the taste of Turkish spices and he kindly gave me more. My friend loved his chicken meal! Rice was on point! Pistachio baklava was incredible, I like to squeeze lemon on it because it really brings out the flavor. Turkish tea was excellent with honey and lemon. Our waiter was really helpful and kind. Their staff were really nice as well. Check them out!

We thought the food was very good. Some items were better than our go to Bosphorous and some items were not as good. The falafel was better here. My mother proclaimed it was the best falafel she has ever had. Overall very good food.

An intimate Turkish restaurant on Park Avenue, Lale blew me away! To start, you have to order the lavash. We ordered two for a table a 4 because it's just that good. It's always amazing to see how much puff there is! We got a plate of haydari and a plate of babaganush to dip and enjoy with it. For my main, I got a plate of chicken Adana which came with rice and orzo blend along with pickled vegetables. The chicken was tender and flavorful. Pickled red cabbage is always my favorite and theirs was delicious. A classic dish done superbly! We had great service that was accommodating to our dietary needs and we were able to grab a walk in on a Friday night. Highly recommend!

Lale is a tucked away gem on popular Park Avenue! Felt like such a treat. After weighing a few nearby options, we decided to give Lale a try. As we came in pretty early, we had no trouble getting a table but the establishment is quite cozy and packed in quickly. Make a reservation if you want to dine during peak hours. We enjoyed a variety of excellent dishes and pleasant service during our evening. We of course started with a lavash and a couple of dips. The hot hummus was by far our favorite! That's a must try! The ezme was a close second. Very flavorful with a touch of heat! I also have to rave about the falafel. I always find falafel to be hit or miss because often times they can be dry. These ones hit the mark. Fried nicely without losing moisture. Can't wait to come back to Lale sooner than later. The entire menu sounded delicious and I have already mentally book marked several options for my next visit!

Our waitress was so sweet! Our food took about 10 minutes to make but it came out very good. However it was a very hot day today and it made the restaurant a bit warm inside. The baklava was also very delicious!

    Tabouli is $10. Not good.

$10 tabouli salad comes in a tiny plastic box. It's not a good deal. It's not even a snack.

Authentic, consistent, and delicious Mediterranean food in a cozy shop on the edge of winter park. I love to go with my wife or friends who dig good food and want a place to hear each other. The warm hummus is an absolute gem and the ground chicken kabobs are my favorite in the state of Florida. I give a strong recommendation!

If you're looking to experience Turkish cuisine in Winter Park, I recommend Lale. The food is delicious and fresh. I tried the chicken shish kebab, feta pide, and lentil soup--all were excellent. The service is fast. Their Turkish coffee comes with foam (which is a very important detail). The only downside was the air conditioning/ventilation, which was a bit lacking--but it was a very hot day, and we arrived right at opening time, so it might not have cooled down yet. I recommend it.

Came here towards the end of lunch on a summer Thursday afternoon around 2. There was one waiter who was clearly overwhelmed. There was table that was done indoors and it took another half hour to clear. We said we'd wait outside and browse the menu meanwhile. We even gave him the lunch order and the hummus salad and bread came out before he even got the ladies their recipet and cleared the table. We were never brought silver ware but were give. Bread and salad and ezme. Shepard salad was good well seasoned but different than my style. The ezme was good and flavorful. The bread was perfect. The mixed grill was fine. All meat was very flavorful. Rice was a big soggy. I wish the veggies that came with were pickled. The place is tiny at best but it's solid food overall

Visiting from out of town and stopped here for a late lunch. Not busy at 4pm and ate outside. Behar was a wonderful waitress and helped us navigate the menu since we're not familiar with Turkish food. Let me tell you- the lavish with hot hummus mixed with their homemade hot sauce, sooo good. My husband had the 5-hr lamb shank that fell off the bone. I ate light and shared his meal and also had the lentil soup which was also very good. Turkish coffee was like an espresso shot and delish! All the flavors hit the spot. People walking by kept saying "that looks so good". Would definitely return here.

This is a Mediterranean style resurant serving traditional foods emphasis on the Lamb. The service is very good the owners daughters are the servers. It can be a little slow at times but very polite and knowledgeable for the tastes and delicacies they have to offer. The resturant is seated in the heart of Winter Park downtown area it is small and quaint. The noise level can be loud due to the small area. It would be great for a romantic date or small gatherings. I would not recommend large groups. They offer outdoor seating and you could bring your furry friends. I had the Lamb sis med well and so did my daughter med rare. My wife had the lamb shank. all were done to perfection and delicious. They offer reds and whites with bottled beer no drafts. For appetizer we had the Hallowed bread. If you have never had this it is a must. I highly recommend you try this gem. You would not regret it.

Service was quick to have us seated, order placed and food to come out. We were continuously checked on which is appreciated. Everything tasted authentic, fresh and hot, especially the lavash. The tea was refreshing. Plenty of seating. Parking on the side street. Love the location, shopping stores all around to walk too and check out. Place gives a cozy feel. 2nd time coming around. Will be back !

Turkish food at its finest! Lale is a cute and cozy spot with delicious food!! The server was sweet, professional, and a hard worker. Made time to have small talk with me and my family. We dined in and tried the following: Turkish veg spread: this is very similar to muhammara which I love!! Delicious fresh and nutty flavors. Accompanied with an order of Lavash. Delightful! Stuffed Grape Leaves: yummy, delicious. Pretty standard. Sigara Boregi: lightly fried, stuffed with Feta. Tasty! Lahmacun: 3 Turkish pies with all the accompaniments. Ask for their homemade hot sauce. It's so good! Turkish Sausage Pide: doughy bread with Turkish Sausage. Iskender Kebab: I love lamb and this preparation was spot on. The homemade yogurt was killer! The interior was quaint and cozy. Would have been nice to hear music. Great time with family, great food! Well done!

Wonderful service though a very tight space. At par with Bosphorus down the street, not sure how their prices differ

We had the Lava bread and the select two which were the hummus and Muhammara which is a Puree of red peppers, walnuts, garlic, olive oil & pomegranate. $12 My husband ordered the Red Lentil Soup but he wasn't a fan, it tasted like Tomato Bisque. For our entree, I had the Lamb Sis Kebap which I shared with my mom and had enough to take home for lunch the next day. This was a big portion. My husband ordered the fried fish, it came with a big salad and rice. He said the fish needed some seasoning. The prices are reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. We also ordered Turkish coffee and the Kunefe which none of us had ever had and I must say it is my favorite dessert ever! The restaurant looks nicer at night. It has a better ambience. The lighting was super bright. Definitely had a great time and will certainly be back.

It is a very lively atmosphere inside, with guest chatter and warm lighting taking over the space beautifully. There are a few tables outside as well. Our server was prompt and helpful. We ordered the lavas and the appetizer sampler. Definitely recommend! My fiance and I split the mix grill for two. We figured it was the best way to try all the different items at a decent price. Our favorites by far were the lamb & chicken sis kebaps.

The restaurant feels cozy and family friendly. It's an open space with booths along the perimeter and tables in the center. We were a party of 6 and were seated at the center tables where I had space for my baby's stroller. The food was portioned well and well seasoned. I ordered two skewers of the chicken Shish as there is only one skewer per order and though I wanted to order the grilled vegetables I was told they were out for the day, so I ordered a side of regular fries. The chicken was tender and juicy and served with sliced raw onion Normally I am not a fan of baba ganoush but this was great and slightly smokey but wonderful on the bread. We ordered a pot of the Turkish tea and it was light and slightly floral but very good though not sweet. The Parmesan and garlic fries were delightful. Not overly oily and the garlic was served as a sauce which meant you could have them as garlic heavy as you wanted. I'm glad they also provided a spicy chili sauce as I like a bit of spice. I also had a salaam cola which was pretty much like a regular coke which I enjoyed! Definitely take note that there are very few vegetarian options. We tried to order the fried noodle dish without the beef but were told it could not be done, and so the only other option was the lentil soup. Most items are heavy on the lamb or beef so few chicken dishes as well. Still a great experience and will likely come again!
