I am submitting a critical review for service never rendered by Paradise Gutters. I received a…read moreproposal/invoice on 06/16/23 for gutters, soffit and fascia work to be performed at my property in Oviedo FL 32765. Paradise Gutters thru his representative Larry Larson requested a 25% down payment from me on same day, which was paid thru Mr. Lardon's PayPal account as a family and friends payment because, as stated by Mr. Larson, he could the funds immediately and could use them to buy the materials. However, he failed to mention that business payments made as friends and family are no guarantee by PayPal. Mr. Larson said that he needed about two weeks to secure the materials needed to do the work, but he never came back. Then, Mr. Larson said the he had a family emergency, that his father in law was sick, and he had to go out of town, and that he had no cellular signal. After calling multiple times and leaving numerous messages, I finally received a call from Mr. Larson, he told me that he was going to do the work the following week. The week past and Paradise Gutters never came or called about the job. At this point, I strongly believe this person and business are dishonest, and would like to warn other people about the deceiving business practices of Paradise Gutters and it's representative Larry Larson.

He also went out of his way to ensure my HOA gave us no problems by going up on the roof, himself and removing branches the tree trimmer had left behind, because you know how HOA's are they will find any reason to delay your project. Anthony not only sent me photos every day from permit to inspection completion but he either called or text if I was at work and let me know he was sending important documents to my email. The roof looks amazing! The job was done so quickly I couldn't even manage to send lunch and water to the crew as by the time I was planning to do that they were already done and gone. Three days from start to finish and that's including all the paperwork. They Brought the dumpster and the next day there was a new roof! If you have any questions regarding Anthony and his team, please don't hesitate to ask me. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Please tell him Betty sent you. We hired American Knight Roof and Exterior Cleaning for a soft cleaning on our tile roof. The website says they cover and protect your landscape and they had decent reviews so we hired him. Every one of our plants were in beautiful condition, green, healthy and blooming including two beautiful hibiscus trees with flowers and many buds. The only plants this company covered consisted of a small strip of a few plants. No protection on anything else. The damage to some of our plants was shocking, especially two once beautiful green and lush hibiscus trees and numerous other healthy flowering plants. Our hibiscus trees are now half bare from yellow leaves that have since fallen off including hundreds of flower buds. Nice healthy and green pentas loaded with blooms destroyed. Fortunately our cameras picked up everything and I took pictures of the aftermath so there's no denying the damage. My husband and I have hours of work cleaning, trimming, replanting along with the price of replacing. We sent the company 2 texts and did not hear one word back. We were completely ignored and no courtesy or decency was shown to us to in the form of a call or a return visit to address the issue. We paid by check and they quickly cashed it the next day, so this is a lesson learned to always use a credit card so you have leverage. We just wanted you all to be aware and alerted to this business and what happened to us. Hire at your own risk and don't always trust the reviews or the websites. First two pictures were before the roof cleaning and the second two were after. Progressively became worse after a couple of days.
