This was probably our 4 visit here overall but first in 2026 crawfish season. Upon walking in the host/ servers were very personable and full of character. We received the shrimp & crab relatively fast; perfect texture and flavor. Everything was juicy and easy to peel. Our server forgot our 4lb crawfish order probably because we had been talking flavors etc no biggie it was fixed quickly..... however after our crawfish was rush ordered it came out with dark red shells that were super hard. Generally this is from it being served right after its required boil cook time and NOT soaking for the additional 20-30 minutes needed to soften the shells and soak up the flavor. The crawfish were extremely difficult to peel and many stuck the inside of the shells another indication that it wasn't post soaked. I asked the server to ask the kitchen if our batch had been post soaked or straight from the boiler... he came back letting me know that they told him "well it's the end of the season and that's probably why they're OFF".... this response is utterly insane to me as we eat crawfish several times a week allllllll through the season and 3 places just in last 7 days and they were easy to peel and around the same size as these. It's not the servers fault at all; he offered to bring something else but my husband was already fighting his way through the bag and after the horrible excuse from the kitchen I'm just gonna stop somewhere else on the way home. I'm not ok with wasted food or money as crawfish is a waste when it's stuck in the shells. Please post soak your crawfish as it's such an easy fix. Came because the Yelp reviews but I can't say I was blown away and will be back any time soon. Walked in on a Saturday night, the place wasn't crowded and we got seated quickly. We were asked about our drinks, ordered them and a dozen raw oysters. Server came back and took our order. Got the snow crabs with potato and sausage with the house seasoning that the server recommended. Also got 2 pounds of shrimp (paid extra for heads off) and the server made it seem like the heat level on the hottest was ghost pepper, next level up being habanero and then hot. Asked if we could sample the sauce and told no as they make each one individually. Being weary of blowing our tongues out we opted for less heat. Oysters came and they were a decent size. I had to ask for some crackers & horse radish, which what was brought to me was way more than one person would ever consume (no charge). Food came and I'm waiting on a bucket to toss my shells in. Finally had to ask and I was told that most people just put it on the table hence the tables being covered. The sauce on my crab was WAY too sweet. The heat level was too mild and the crab itself was hard to get out the shell. I asked for some melted butter and was told I would be charged for it. Overall I left still wanting more which isn't my usual. However I can say been there done that. read more

Edit: 3 of my 4 family members have been on the toilet since we left, the only one that isn't is the one that didn't eat shrimp smh I visited today and had a great experience. The atmosphere was pleasant, and I was greeted and assisted right away. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I also appreciated how quickly the staff helped my kids with spilling their drinks. They were attentive and made the process easy and enjoyable. Overall, a very positive visit. read more

The seafood boil here is very tasty. I like that they offer different set combos to choose from, it makes ordering easier. Also, they provide aprons and gloves to eat, great from messy eaters like me. For our sauce, my group and I all got the "Kickin' Style" in Medium. The server said medium is as spicy as Hot Cheetos, but honestly, it wasn't that spicy. I could've gone up a spice level. Oysters were tasty too! Great size The seafood boil was great, but everything else we ordered was just okay. The michelada was good, but my beer was warm. I wish they would serve it with a cold bottle of beer. The calamari was seasoned well, but it tasted like it was missing something, or maybe the pieces weren't that good. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. The shrimp "fried rice" tasted like straight-up butter! I didn't taste any soy sauce, and no veggies in this rice. Only shrimp and rice. I would not recommend the friend rice, This restaurant is very casual, great for big groups. We came on a Tuesday night, and it wasn't busy, bt service was a bit slow. After not being checked up on for a while, we had to wave down a server because we didn't receive any tools to help crack the crab legs we ordered, and we were not offered water or refills. read more

My family wanted seafood and we found this place with great reviews so we decided that a few would go pick up and bring back to the house. I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos and was extremely disappointed as it was just two pieces of shrimp on street tacos nothing more. They did give me salsa but the taco was so plain as well as tiny. If they would have said it was a street taco I would not have ordered. My Dad got the shrimp and fries basket to which he said it was ok. My bonus mom got the garlic noodles and they were amazing. They also got to go drinks that everyone said were excellent. I heard the service was great and they were extremely helpful with making choices. This place is cute on the outside and inside. The drinks are really good also. I ordered a crab combo that was amazing. My sister also ordered garlic noodles that were a generous portion and really tasty. My complaint comes at the fact that we ordered chicken tenders for children and asked for no seasoning and it came with a heavy dose of seasoning. My other complaint is how puny the shrimp tacos were that we ordered. The lady who took our order was super sweet, patient and helpful. My final complaint is that our order was to take 20 minutes, and it took much longer than that. We didn't notice the seasoning issue until we got back to our destination because we were so anxious to leave. When I called to tell them about this, the only thing they could offer was to take our name down for a future visit. We are from out of town. I will definitely visit again, but I know what items to avoid. Conveniently enough, we have a location back home in Plano. read more

What a pleasant audible when looking for a crawfish boil when another place was unexpectedly closed! We came upon this place and it was decorated so fun... find frank the shark! Service was friendly and fast despite it being busy in there. The food was made perfectly good and decent priced. The kickin sauce is everything!!! We spent the day in the area and were seeking out some great seafood. We made the short drive over and were immediately greeted to be sat. Interior wise it's a simple dining area with beach themed decor all over the walls. Nothing fussy, a good low key environment. They had several TVs mounted all with varying content including some big sports games. So how was everything else? Read on! Food and Drinks They have plenty of bottled beer choices and frozen margaritas if you're looking to pair that with your seafood order. We went with Kickin Wings and KC Gumbo to start. The wings are cooked perfectly, great crisp, flavorful, and juicy. We would definitely order these again. For the main, we went for the Kickin Combo #1 with mussels, shrimp, and crawfish. They do let you double or triple up on an option if that's your thing. We wanted to get a mix. Shrimp were sized well, the crawfish given how limited 2024 season has been were not a disappointment, and the mussels were huge. Service Here is where this place absolutely shines. We never were without. They are very attentive making sure you have whatever you need! Cost Always subjective, but all the menu options are priced quite fair and the market live prices were competitive. And for anyone wondering, as of Late March 2024 they were offering crawfish at a great rate compared to some other spots. Overall This spot is worth stopping in at. The service was ALMOST a 5 star. We were not greeted at the door, the guy just looked at us and walked away. We waited a few minutes before we were sat. Our waitress was awesome though, very attentive. It's a typical Cajun seafood restaurant with a few big tables, booths, smaller tables. It is a small restaurant so probably not a good place to host big parties. Let's start with the Clam Chowder. This took a while to come out and was actually very bland. I had to add more salt and Tabasco for flavor. Raw oysters were cleaned very well but they were not all fully shucked, so the scallop part was still stuck onto the shell. They were the perfect size and had the sweet taste to them! We ordered the 1lb shrimp and 1lb snow crab cluster special for $28 with spicy level kickin sauce. The sauce was sooo good! Full of fresh garlic and the perfect amount of Cajun spice mix. Crawfish was $8.99/lb! We ordered medium spice level kickin sauce, added corn and boiled eggs. Overall, the crawfish, shrimp, and snow crab clusters were cooked to perfection so they did not stick onto the meat! I will be coming back here for my seafood boil cravings. read more

I am so happy that I recently discovered this place while ordering food delivery on DoorDash. I was craving some snowcrab legs and an ordered one of their Kickin' Crab combos that included a cluster of snow crab legs, head on shrimp, along with a potato, a corn, and two small pieces of sausage. I ordered my seafood combo extra spicy in the house Kickin' flavor - which is a mix of all of their flavors combined. My partner got the same seafood combo, however they ordered the Fiesta flavor in mild. When the food arrived, it was packaged very nicely in terms of the to go packaging. The seafood quality of the crabs legs and the shrimp were all delicious and fresh. Between the house Kickin' flavor and the Fiesta flavor, I definitely prefer the Fiesta flavor over the house Kickin' flavor. I felt like the Fiesta flavor was a better combination, whereas the Kickin' mix felt like it was just oil/butter and really lacked any depth of good flavor. Overall, I'd love to come in person to check this place out. I've passed by it a few times in the past and I can't believe I've never noticed it before. This little spot opened up right down the street and had to give this place a try! I ordered their cajun rub wings, and I and I ordered three pounds of crawfish. You buy two lbs and get the 3rd half off deal. Each lb was $9.99.. so I spent $25 on 3 lbs. It's not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. Their wings were super crispy and amazing taste on their dry rub. Some of the most crispy wings I have had in a long time. The crawfish had great size, and the taste was amazing! I have been searching for a seafood boil since moving to Houston 2 years ago. We finally found it! We ordered 2lbs of shrimp, 2 Dungeness crab combos and my family of 4 devoured it all.
