These (some) of these extremely expensive products "work" but the customer service/salespeople/"barkers" are terrible I have some of their products and have been very lucky to actually get a few refunds - amazing I have seen their stores in Cerritos and Glendale Galleria, their "sales manager" moved with the last owner. Since I visit the South Bay Area, happened to visit this store - it was my BIG MISTAKE! Sadly, being respectful in saying that one is not interested - the sales people seemed to take my refusal as an additional reason to apply great pressure to "sample" (demonstration) then cornered me when I wanted to leave. Unfortunate that one has to be rude and literally push oneself away from these "salespeople" to leave. Curious that prominent shopping mall management companies don't do the proper due dilligence is screening/filtering "retailers" that have extremely bad reputations and negative BBB ratings - along with a track record of super aggressive salesmanship encouraged by store managers - as noted in previous posts listed here. Given that the pattern from the Cerritos Mall store to the Glendale Galleria store is repeated many times (that prompted the closing of their stores at these shopping malls) at this South Bay shopping mall store (as I have experienced), strongly encourage those that others like myself share your opinions/views to this South Bay Shopping Mall company office and hope that they will find the appropriate course of actions to protect the dwindling number of shoppers that actually go to shopping malls (hmm, maybe that is why these salespeople are so aggressive - online shopping will eliminate having to deal with super aggressive salespeople. read more

This company does unethical sales tactics luring elderly into spending $1000+ on products the elderly (80+) clearly can not benefit from. After my 94 yr old grandmother purchased $1000 worth of products and charging her credit card for it, she was told she could not get a refund after she changed her mind and realized she did not want the items because it was too expensive and could not afford them!! She did not even sign the visa voucher! We interviewed other businesses in the same area where their store was and was told that they see them pulling people in the store to scam into buying their products. My skin does not agree with the skincare line, but I really like the way the lotions smell. I was given a few products as a gift. The packaging is really nice and it smells great. I see the specks of gold in the product, and that's really exciting. I have super sensitive skin, so it's not for me, but it seems like a great product for others. Happy Holidays Fellow Yelpers! A very dear friend of mine who works for Orogold sent to me their products for men, and asked me to try it out and give them a review. I was hesitant at first because it would require me to be diligent in using these product everyday, rather than being a regular guy. I do use facial cleansing and moisturizing products, but I'll admit that it's more like once or twice a week. Alright, so here is what my friend sent me: 24K Men's Golden Body Butter, this maybe be no different than the womens version. This is by far my favorite of the 4 products that was sent to me. Light and creamy application without any the oily feeling that a lot of moisturizers leave. I'm thinking about making this one of my main product from now on. The 24K Men's Deep Pore Cleanser is a good alternative to the Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser that I normally use. It's not too harsh, nor does it dry my skin. The downside to this product is that the fragrance remind me of old ladies (so sorry, don't mean to offend). I don't dig that too much, I prefer to use the mint/peach moisturizer that I regularly use. on Sept 22, 2013 I went to the mall and as we were walking by Orogold in mall a woman stop us and gave us a sample of face cream. She wanted to talk to us and my sister in law was all for it. I usually don't stop, but we did Karina started to talk to us about our skin and we started to talk about makeup all that, she wore no make up and was beautiful naturally, her customer service was excellent the way she carried herself and presented her product was great not pushy very informative, she talked to us like she was our friend forever, I think Orogold did a great job with having her as a representative for their product. I cant say good thing enough about her service to us. I am in customer service business and it was great, so great my sister in law bought the product, gold....I like to thank her again for her service and the company. Fraud Alert! Please contact your STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL and 1-ask for help in getting your refund and 2-ask the State Attorney General to protect consumers and shut these OroGold stores DOWN in our States! Then contact the Mall Manager to get OroGold kicked out of our malls! For the same LIES took place with me. On 11/25/2012 I was lured into the OroGold Store after getting a Free Sample at the entrance. "I just want to show you something" the Sales Girl said, and then she applied eye serum and a night cream under my left eye. After the price was slashed two times when I kept saying No to purchase them, I then asked, "Do you have a RETURN POLICY?" I was lied to and told, "Yes, 90 days". With the price being slashed two times and with the 90 day guarantee, I thought, "Why not". I then handed the same girl my Credit Card, I signed a credit slip, and then a different sales receipt was folded and placed in my purchase bag. After getting home, 1 hour later, my eye was stinging from the eye serum or cream so I looked at my receipt to confirm the Return Policy but found "No Refunds. Exchanges within 90 days" written on the very bottom of the receipt. I was so surprised, that I went on line to see what others had to say about this company, and very sadly, found all of these negative reviews!! I tried to go to the Store on 11/26/2012 and ask for a Refund anyway ... since all complaint bureaus will ask if I've done this step. I was actually scoffed at for requesting the Refund, when the sales receipt clearly says No Returns, I was called a liar for stating that the original Sales Girl said I COULD RETURN the product within 90 days and I was told again, "We don't do refunds. If you buy something at Christian Dior you can't get a refund and we are a better company, like them." So by asking our Mall Managers, the BBB, and our State Attorney General to help us, we might be able to get refunds and might be able to see OroGold put out of business in the United States. I consider myself a saavy shopper, and until yesterday, thought I would never be "taken"! This company is totally unethical, and their sales tactics, are implorable! I was with my cousin, as the saleswomen (Mor) preceeded to "drag" us into the store. Her sales tactics were very convincing, and she would not let us leave. She kept pouring the compliments, as if in the first 15 minutes we were long lost "soul mates". I am so completely disgusted and mad at myself for being totally taken. This company definately has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE ETHICS! I feel they she took total advantage of both my cousin and me, since we are getting into our "senior years". We both repeateadly said we were not working, however, she did not care. She kept telling us I will give you a great deal, but you must never tell anyone. Long story short, we both walked out paying $350 for the products. The seaweed mask, which she shows us on their website retailed at $388, what a JOKE. You can get the same product on Amazon for $40! Her final offer for the 24K Eye serum and 24K Intensive Eye Formula Cream was $150 each. The orginal retail price she quoted us was $199 each. Oh but the best joke on us, was she added the seaweed mask for free! Wow, showing us the Orogold website, whereby it lists this product as retail $388. According to the salesperson, the above prices were NEVER to be mentioned!!!!! She gave us her email address and cell number, however, I am skeptical that both are legit , I hope that this company changes their sales tactics, if not, I hope that they lose complete creditability here in the United States. EVERYONE,. beware, do not buy from this store! Go online to Amazon or perhaps other sites. Oh, one last important fact: ALL SALES final, only store credit within 14 days. Wow these products are really amazing! I got the cleanser and body butter lotion. The cleanser left my skin feeling so fresh, exfoliated, and clean and the lotion smells amazing. If you have sensitive skin, you might not want to use the cleanser every day because it could be a bit irritating. For me personally though it felt perfect; my skin is fairly normal so I felt no irritation or sensitivity to the product. Perfect to use in the shower or bath instead of or in addition to your regular face wash/body wash. I'd recommend it to anyone, especially if you wear make up, have blemishes, sweat a lot, or have dry skin(the body butter will leave your skin incredibly moisturized). Enjoy! read more

When I walked into the store, I was greeted by a friendly female worker who was amazing and very helpful. Someone told me about the Hydrating Moisturizer -- and I tried it for a week and it healed my dry skin problems without leaaving my skin greasy and now I use it every day. It's an amazing product. I had the pleasure of trying the 24k Men's Facial Serum and the Men's After Shave Bomb. I was also skeptical of the products because I've never seen gold in these types of products, and I'm pretty stubborn about what I use. However, I have to say I've really enjoyed the products. The after shave didn't burn my skin like other after shaves often do, and the Facial Serum really helped my face after a long day of being out in the sun. Was waved down by a sales guy who gave me a free sample and he was SO PUSHYY! I didn't really want to go into their store because I knew he was gonna try to sell me his stuff and I didnt have much money but he gave me free samples so I felt bad just walking away so I caved in. Super friendly guy, he seemed to have something tickling his nose holes because he kept pinching away at his nose and sniffling the whole time. Felt like telling him to grab a tissue. Then he asks me to try on my hand this orange gel that by the way smelled awesome, but with the hand he picked his nose in front of me several times with he starts massaging it on me!! I though I would be the one putting it on!! It was so gross but again I didn't wanna be dramatic and be like OMG you nasty!! So I actedas though everything was good. He tried to convince me on the quality of the product and what a great discount I would get $172+ for a little pot of orange goo that would last me 12 months supposedly. I said no thanks and he kept adding more stuff to the deal and I kept saying I don't have money and still tried to sell me it! Like seriously?? I-HAVE-NO MONEYSS!
