Once inside, you'll discover that this business has all of the stuff that Sephora is known for. It's a fairly large location, that's fully stocked. Sephora is one of those businesses that you can really take some time inside, seeking to find that new lotion or whatever that can really help reshape the overall texture and/or beauty of your face and other body parts. This shop is fully stocked. So, you can really find what you need. Plus, if you know where what you're looking for is located, you can walk right in, grab it, pay for it, and head out the door. The staff here are all fairly nice. As is the case with all Sephora, they tend to be a little heavy on the sales. Meaning, they come up to, and the only reason they really want to talk to you is to get their commission moving upwards. But, that's just the nature of this business. Can't hate on that. Overall, this store is very well organized. It's very clean. And, it's easy to find what you're looking for. Plus, once you grab what you need, paying for it it's very easy at the cash register in the back. In terms of parking, this Sephora is located at the edge of a strip mall. Meaning, there's a lot of parking. This being said, this parking lot can become a real mess. In fact, it's one of the parking lots that I really dislike driving into, unless I really need to. This isn't any criticism of the store, this is just something you need to keep in mind. Particularly during peak hours, this parking lot can become a gridlocked mess. FYI. My mother and I connected with her from the start! She was so nice and personable, she really seemed to love her job. She was very knowledgeable of many makeup brands. She was able to color match my mother and I and get us a sample. I ended up getting IT Cosmetics Foundation, Milk Cream Contour Stick, Topicals Acne Primer & Under Eye Masks, & The Tower 28 SOS Spray. Totaling a little over $150. The cashier was super sweet, she gave us some free samples of the Dr Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel Wipes. Definitely recommend this location, great customer service. A box of skincare products had a broken seal. So I asked the person in front of I could open the box to ensure nothing was used or tampered with. She looked at me and said "Oh, yaaa...nothing should have been used............" The set was $120 (before tax).....so yaaa, I'm going to ensure I'm not buying this and wasting my time having to return it later. So I walked to a table to get out of the way of the counter, and another staff member came by me, almost hovering. It felt like they were making sure I wasn't stealing anything. I had a shopping list from my esthetician who opened this store. Large shared parking lot but was lucky enough to find a spot right away. So glad they opened a Sephora in the Rolling Hills Plaza! It's so close to me, and there's plenty of parking. I don't have to go inside a mall to get to Sephora! While booking a makeup application appointment on their website, I saw that they offer a lip treatment by Hydra Facial. Lately, my lips have been super dry, and I've been having to apply a ton of chapstick. I've never had this issue before, so I'm not used to dealing with this issue. So when I saw that they offer this, I immediately made an appointment to try it out and see if it helps. I easily made an appointment online and was good to go. When I walked in for my appointment, I went to the front desk to check-in. I was seen right away by (ugh, I'm so bad with names, maybe Jennae?) a lovely lady on 4/23/22 @ 4:30. She walked me through the process and got started. It was quick; I actually saw a difference in my lips. She applied a sleeping mask called Laneige, which I also purchased. A week has passed since my lip treatment, and I've noticed they haven't been as dry, and I'm not constantly applying chapstick as often! So I guess the treatment worked for me. Totally worth the $30! Their menu service options are very straight-forward and easy to navigate. I highly recommend booking early to ensure you have an appointment. I was let into their store before opening hours since I had an appointment. I appreciate them accommodating time slots that are beyond their store hours. I was met by my MUA, Reyna, who's just a doll. She really listened to me and accommodated my preferences. I highly appreciate her being patient with me, as I'm not one to wear any makeup these days and application in the eye area especially can get a little delicate and uncomfortable. Reyna was very proactive about taking breaks and allowing me to voice how I was feeling to make me feel comfortable. At the end of my 90-minute appointment, I did not feel pressured by any sales tactics and, most importantly, I love my look! Even if I didn't, I would feel comfortable expressing my feedback to Reyna without feeling like I was hurting her feelings. I think that says a lot about her professionalism and skill. I went in yesterday for a return and i don't know if the cashier was having a bad day or what but she was so rude. I've never experienced such bad customer service at Sephora. Everyone is usually so nice and helpful. I was able to return one item and the other I purchased at a Sephora inside a kohls so I asked if I'd be able to return it there. She rudely answered "I don't know I don't work there" it was a simple question. No thank you no bye nothing. I don't think I'll return to this location. So my mom was over at the Rolling Hills Sephora location about 40 minutes ago off Crenshaw and PCH. RUDE RUDE RUDE to her. 5 to 6 Sephora employees were working with hardly any customers in the store. My mom said she was greeted at the door by some lady/younger girl and the young girl/lady did not smile or greet her and looked at her like she was poor and elderly; judging already! And if you have ever been trained properly in customer service, you KNOW not to JUDGE! They just pointed in the general direction to where the products were located. They also saw her and didn't offer help! Seriously? Do I need to go on? I paid for my items but my daughter was not done picking up hers, so I sat on the corner of a stool that was in a blocked area because I was in pain. An employee approached me and asked who opened the area for me. The area was still blocked by the tape and by the stool so not even a centimeter open. I said that I just needed a minute because I have a foot injury, and all she said in front of others is that the area was sanitized for their make up artists and I had to get up. I am a very clean and decent person and I very often shops at Sephora. I felt embarrassed and upset at the same time for this employee rudeness. I sent my daughter to pay for her staff and I waited outside with an injured foot. I find that employee's attitude unacceptable. read more

I came here to make a return without a receipt (it was a gift) and the associate told me she could not make the return nor give a store credit. Seems odd when I read the online return policy for Sephora states, "it will accept new or gently used items returned without a receipt." Especially, around the holiday season when gifts are aplenty. I really love this Sephora, and I also love not having to walk through a mall to get to it! I've been here probably 4x now, and I've always had a very positive experience while asking for help or browsing and asking questions about products. One employee (unfortunately I don't remember his name) helped me find part of my mom's Christmas gift (a travel friendly, nude eyeshadow palette) and walked me to multiple options before I settled on one. Super helpful and knowledgeable!! This location isn't very busy in my experience, especially compared to other Sephora locations, such as in del amo. You'll probably be asked often if you're finding everything ok or if you need help, which I think can be construed as you being followed or employees thinking you're up to something suspicious. However, this is fantastic if you're looking for knowledgeable staff with the time to dedicate to making sure you get what you came for. Personally, I love it! Also, I want to add that almost every time I have asked for samples, they have said they did not have any. Once, one of the girls said they had to make them. That was an interesting answer. I always dread going into this location in Rolling Hills because the customer service is terrible. Every time I come to this location the employees follow me around and stare me down as if Im going to steal something it makes me really uncomfortable while trying to shop. I never get offered a basket to shop but constantly get rude stares from the employees and when I ask questions or have to interact with the workers there usually rude. I was very hesitant and skeptical at first, because I have heard horror stories of make up gone wrong at Sephora. Reyna changed my whole perspective and outlook on beauty services. When we walked in, she immediately greeted us, she led us to where we would be getting our make up done and went ahead and sanitized her station. She was very clean and made sure to grab fresh, clean brushes, and only use make up that was in the boxes labeled "clean". After the pandemic, I believe it is very important to keep your station clean and she did just that. She made my friend and I feel very welcome, and even asked us different questions to determine which products would work best on our skin. I like that she really listened to what we wanted and didn't try to control our decisions. Even though she was very patient, she was still able to complete our make up in a timely matter. When I left, I felt very confident and super pleased with my overall look. I love that she took my vision into consideration, but also used her creativity and color matching skills.
