I was so happy I did because it carries so many brands for both skincare and hair, ones that only select high end stores or med spas carry. I was just looking for a conditioner in a different store literally a day before where they had the brand but not the specific product so I was really happy to have found it here. The guy who was there went above and beyond to help me try to find the right product for my skin since they didn't have the one brand that I do use he looked at the ingredients to try to find something similar. He also helped me find a new scent for my home because there's a large selection of candles and diffusers that I've been needing to get for my home as well. I'm so lucky I stumbled upon this beauty supply store. I felt like a kid in a candy store. I went in to buy some shampoo but then saw that they had all my skincare products too like skinceuticals and skinmedica. They even had my nutrofol hair vitamins and agent nateur collagen powder. They have a good selection of name brand products although some are expired. I was excited to see Kiehls, Milton Brown, Laura Mercier, even some L'occitane. The lady that works there, followed me around, pretending to look at stuff as if I was going to steal something. I am not the only one as I have read in some of their other reviews. For that very reason I'm not going to buy anything here even though they have my favorite body wash. This is not the kind of area where it's appropriate to treat people like that. Product wise, the store has a good selection. However, the store manager/ owner makes me uncomfortable. I strolled in on my way to Trader Joe's. I was just browsing through the store. I felt like he was following me. There is a difference between providing good service and tracking someone because you think they may steal from you. Instead of making your few customers feel distrusted, invest in cameras. It was off putting and annoying. I certainly don't need to buy from beauty loops when everything he offers is sold through Sephora and will earn points/ rewards. There is just unwelcoming vibe here that I cannot deny. read more

I've been a regular at this establishment for the past three years now. A family owned business, run by Alan, Alex and their mother - all of whom are an absolute delight. I enjoyed my time there and always make sure I have ample time to browse. They have my favorite medical grade products all in one place, including travel sizes that are wonderful for me be I travel frequently and I can't repackage all of my favorite products into those annoying travel tubes etc. no one has time for all that. They have great gifts sets for the holidays and for gifts in general. I always end up spending more than I planned too but im happy with all my purchases so I it's fair enough :) My only gripe is that I wish there was a rewards system Bc i spend upwards of 800 a month here and I wish there was some form of appreciation for my loyalty. They do have samples that they throw in time to time but I'd much rather appreciate earning my way to a full size product of my liking or something new even. I hate Sephora and ulta but im still a vip rouge and a diamond member at both Bc I do like the status and the perks as well as appreciation for my business. That being said , shopping at beauty loops is a more personal experience with the owners. FYI, Allie has been gone for a while now, I saw someone mentioned her in their review earlier. Alan and Alex are great and always help me carry my things to the car. They were so accommodating and offered to keep the store open for me for my convenience and gave me their number to call them if I ever needed them to stay open for me in the future. This shop is a gem! The service here made the difference to me. They are very helpful and kind. They are a small shop, but well stocked with items new and traditional for beauty needs. If they run out, they are happy to call you when new shipments come in. It has all kinds of useful items that you might need whether you are a local getting some hair treatment or a traveler trying to find some makeup or cool souvenir. It's a nice little shop like many in the Riviera Village of Redondo. I try to go here and support the local business as often as I can. What is it about makeup that makes me Be All That I Can Be? And frankly, quite a bit more than ALL - when I load up on all the goodies like they have here at Beauty Loops. There is quite a bit good about this place, and it's worth a stop in and buy cause: + 1 Star - Good prices. The prices are Sephora level or less. You certainly won't pay more, and quite often you may sink your teeth into some deals. In fact, I just got a Yelp check in offer on a shampoo for free ($21 value!) when I bought a mask for my dryazabone hair. - 1 Star - Parking. They share the parking lot with Trader Joe's, Yoghurtland, Starbucks and Wahoo's Fish Tacos. Ugh. But you can get a spot nearby at a meter, unless you are a cheapo like me then you can park a few blocks away and hoof it. + 1 Star - Candles. Ok, so I love my stinky candles and they have a nice selection by a few brands, including the ubiquitous Voluspa. + 1 Star - Hair Do-dads. I love my sparkle hair clips. But not the crummy ones from downtown, you know what I mean? Those ones that snag in my luscious (post-mask that is) locks. No no no - here they have the upper end ones - like those nice clippies from France (that country that makes good wine, cheese and smokes alot) and adorable rhinestone-d numbers that are cute if you are 14 or 40. + 1 Star - Nail polish. Both Essie and OPI and like every dang color. Sweet. + 1 Star - Impulse gifts. So, suddenly I realize, as I am shopping for my Mario Badescscu zit cream that I love that they carry (of course) that I need to buy a little cutie pie gifts for my friend's tween who is having a b-day the next day. Yep, they got cute and not-too-pricey little sumthing-sumthin's here. - 1 Star - Not as much testers as I'd like. I want to smear everything on myself all the time, and some of the items don't have testers. Oh well. Yea, I like this store, and I cannot believe it took me so long to review it for my Yelp family. I never planned on going to Beauty Loops, but happened to be out of Bare Escentuals one day, and needed more product ASAP. I had assumed the prices would be more expensive than Sephora or The Bare Escentuals boutique, but the prices are SOOO reasonable. The prices are for the type of store they are. I decided to make a stop in when I was at Trade Joe's next store, didn't need anything particular but thought I would look around. The girl who welcomed us in was a bit rude when I asked her a casual question about how long they had been at that location and it completely turned my off to the store, if you are going to give me an attitude over a silly question I would not feel comfortable asking you about the products you carry. It's my girl friends birthday tomorrow and I wanted to get her a nice present. The people here were so nice and helpful and they answered all of my questions. I knew that she only uses bumble and bumble hair products and I was shocked to see that they sold it here, last time I wanted to buy them for her I had to drive all the way to Los Angeles to get it. High-end. High quality labels. I would have given this store 5 stars however most of the time either the girl or the woman are rude/snooty. The guy is nicer. I purchased an Archipelago candle there....brought it home and it was broken. Not sure if it was already broken or if it was my fault, but I asked him if I could return it and he, although a bit hesitant, exchanged it. That was really nice of him. This beauty supply has a great selection of products and the prices are consistent with other beauty supply stores. They have Mason Pearson brushes and they've got lots of sizes, too! The owners are very friendly and let you just browse and take your time if you don't know which specific product you want. They have testers of every product and if they don't just ask the associate at the register, they're make one for you. The nice part is that all the products I purchase are under one roof, I don't have to go to 4 different beauty supply stores in order to restock my regular products. Their prices is a bit higher than other stores, but for the convenience and the principle, I shopped there quite a bit till yesterday. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!!! 10 days ago, my friend was visiting from out East, I saw that they had the BABY FOOT kit. It was $19 at the Japanese store in Torrrance, They had it fro $17.
