Too expensive for what it is. That being said, the tacos were delicious! Great, fresh marg. Cool atmosphere and we received great service at the bar. Rice and beans below average.

Everything about this experience was wonderful. From fresh salsa and guacamole to deliciously crunchy tacos - on and the OYP margarita - all was enjoyed! This girl from TX found a great spot for fresh Mexican food!

Just swung in for a drink and an app. The menu looks great though! The staff greeted us with smiles and sat us immediately. It wasn't too crowded but the space is smaller so I could see it being kind of cramped during rush hour, but a very cool building and atmosphere! Good place to unwind after shopping Electric Ave!!

I'm so glad I ignored the low star rating and gave this place a try. While their menu is limited and chips and salsa are not complimentary their tacos are truly amazing. We enjoyed corn which was crispy and flavorful. The barilla tacos were the best and came with a dipping sauce that was exquisite. The spicy Paloma's were also so good!!! The inside/outside seating area is a nice option when the weather is nice. We sat just inside the patio area by the bar. TV's were happily on various different things. Our server was attentive and helped us make great decisions. Don't sleep on this place. So far it's the best food I've had in Big Fork!

YUM! Oro Y Plata was exactly what I wanted after a long day of travel. I very much appreciated the simple, straightforward menu that made it very easy for my exhausted mind to study. All the selections sounded delish, and I wanted it all. So, I ordered the Taco Trio (carne molida, pulled chicken and pork guisada tacos served with rice and beans, $21.00). This way, I get a little bit of everything. I'll start with the best - the pulled chicken taco. Perfectly seasoned shredded chicken with fresh toppings cradled in a crispy, birria-style taco shell, I savored every bite. Not only was the chicken incredibly flavorful and juicy, but the crunchy shell made it even better. The other two tacos were also very well seasoned, bursting with flavor and equally as delish. I found them very similar in taste, just different meats. I was also a big fan of the soft, warm beans and spicy Mexican rice, the latter adding quite the kick which I enjoyed when I added on my burritos. The service was great. Our waitress was attentive and very patient with me as I made my selection. The prices are a lil steep, but that's to expect in a small, destination town. Don't go here if you're not willing to spend minimum $25.00 per person. There is great outdoor seating right off of Bridge Street to enjoy the beautiful weather and quaint downtown life. Overall, I loved Oro Y Plata. I found the high price of the dish worth the fantastic experience. I highly recommend for a nice lunch/dinner.

We stop in ORO Y PLATO after a couple of rounds at Whitefish Golf Club and we were not disappointed. (4) of us had dinner at the bar but the tacos and appetizers were very tasty and delicious. Kudos to the owner for the ambiance w/ a beautiful large outdoor patio, spacious dining area , super bar and awesome staff made these Texas golfers have a memorable day !!

Beautiful location. Cool design. Big Fork is a cool Montana destination town. Foody nirvana. Don't come expecting cheap prices. Quality rules. Home made tortillas, delicious meat. Quantity did not disappoint. Chips and salsa were some of the best we've ever had. Thin, crispy, salty goodness. Tried the taco trio to get some variety. Amazing. Pickled vegetables were a spicy surprise. We will be back.

Would not recommend this restaurant. Way over priced, tacos are greasy gut bombs and the house margarita was average at best.

The only reason to come here is the margs. Best margaritas I've had however the food lacks everything.

Not sure how that's even possible with a vegetarian taco. Anyway, nothing special here. In response to your comment Thomas. Would you have charged me less if I asked? I don't complain in front of my guests or to get free stuff. I give honest reviews to give other people a heads up and to give owners an opportunity to improve. You used yours to blame me....your choice. I just went back and read the poor reviews for the past couple years. Your answer is always the same. Never an apology never your responsibility, just blaming people for not asking for more, better, hotter....whatever. One person complained to you and after giving then a small discount, you gave them the cold should. Seriously, go back and read the bad reviews and then read your response. Sometimes people just want a sincere apology and for someone to take responsibility. Best of luck figuring it out.

It would normally have grapefruit vodka in it, but I'm not a fan of vodka or any of its flavoring. The kind bartender substituted the alcohol to gin with a splash of grapefruit at no extra charge. I believe the bartender is the owner as it seemed to be a one man show. The same guy was our server, a bus boy, bartender, and our host! He was probably the cook too! Talk about wearing many hats! I ordered the golden and red beets with goat cheese for $12 and this came to the table looking like a colorful masterpiece. Every bite was delicious. The huckleberry creme brûlée was great! The huckleberries are hiding at the bottom of the ramiken. I'm a tourist and was on a mission to eat everything huckleberry and this dessert did not disappoint! It's a must try! My boyfriend ordered the wild mushroom crepe $16 which was roasted wild mushrooms, prosciutto and swiss cheese with mornay sauce. I thought the crepe was a little undercooked, but he absolutely loved it. I also thought it was a bit salty for my taste, but the mushrooms were tasty! I ordered the $16 grilled salmon and andouille sausage over spinach with tomatoes, fresh orange and red onion. I never heard of these two proteins together, but they make a dynamic duo! I'd like to say it's a warm salad and it was so good! The charred salmon was the star of this dish!
