After continuing to look, they finally found the nail, pulled it out, and it was clearly the source of the air leak. Everyone has busy and stressful days, but taking a moment to listen to your customers goes a long way. Had they listened from the beginning instead of dismissing her concerns, the experience would have been much more positive.
