We have used Ortega drives at least 7 times in the last 2 years, primarily to get to LAX for longer trips. It is worth every penny! Mike's drivers are organized and on time every time. Before leaving your home to the airport they routinely ask if you have your travel documents, which saved us this last trip when my teen assumed I had their passport. As she didn't have her DL on her, if the driver hadn't asked we would have arrived at the airport without the required ID. Pick up at home and at the airport has been seamless and when you get home from a long flight, not having to deal with LA traffic is a huge plus. I spoke with Mike and he was very thorough and even told me what type of vehicle they had available so there would be no surprises. They texted us prior to pick up for confirmation. This has to be our worst experience ever. We book a few weeks out. Get the confirmation. Then 6 HOURS BEFORE THE FLIGHT THEY CALL TO CANCEL CAUSE A DRIVER HAD COVID. Then after THAT they call back a LITTLE later saying they found someone. Which they did but why not do that before? GIVING YOU THE RUN AROUND AND ALL THAT. We didn't have a choice and had to use them cause it was only a few hours before our flight. O here's the another worst part about this car service.
