They helped me after missed connections and got me home after I literally took a boat, a plane, a bus and a train. The drivers were always professional and courteous, if I was silent they left me be, if I wanted to talk they obliged me The one and only time I had a problem was when they didn't show because I was in the shower and missed the courtesy call, my fault for not paying attention. When my car was a no start they were here in minutes to get me to work and later tonight they will bring me home after I leave it for service. If not for them I'd be looking at a long, very cold walk.

In a sec they told me how many cars in my area, the closest one, how many minutes away. Photo, Name, license plate, color & model of car! I used it three times. No money exchanged hands, everything is done with your account. As long as you have your phone your all set to go!!!! Uber drivers take you anywhere ( nothing is too far & return you later) including NJ, PA... No cab driver moaning about how many fares he'll lose. I am a New Yorker at heart. I know my way around the city very well. Unfortunately there is always construction going on, but I know where I'm going.

The first driver with a 4.9 canceled on us 48 hours before and it was assigned to a second driver, Brianna. Brianna (rating of 4.95) decided 15 minutes before arriving to cancel as well (we were afraid it was going to happen as no car was on the road at 20 minutes before departure). We did this as an experiment to see how reliable Uber really is at early hours. So, I got up, drove my wife and kids to the airport in Hartford, CT. The drivers don't want to get up that early in Connecticut so if you want support, avoid Uber. I did this as a test because I knew could drive them if the car did not show up (I have to work today so I was not going). In the future, we will pay more for a car service to do this because Lyft failed the same test last year. These car services are good for daytime travel only - early morning or late night you can forget about reliability because the drivers can abandon you with little time left to get another option and you will not learn this from their scores as they cancel before you can rate them.

He was the first person I met when I was moving - he picked me up from Union Station and drove me to work. In the 15 minutes it took for us to get there, he'd given me the lowdown on the city, and his own number in case I couldn't get through the main line. Fabulous! During the snowmageddon that was CT this winter, they would show up right on time. When they couldn't, they would tell me, and not keep me hanging - which I really appreciate - other taxi companies have done that, grr! In decent weather they show up in 10min flat. (caveat: I live in downtown new haven). In the snow/ rain, up to 20minutes. I've never missed a meeting or a train in 8 months of using them a few times a week. If they're late, or if we're stuck in traffic too long, I've known the drivers to stop the meter. Who does that?! The only reason I'm taking one star off is because the main line takes a while to get through. Try to score a driver's personal number, that makes life easier...
