I left with no credit, no refund, ZIP ZILCH. How about "no worries lets get you something else" THE RESPONSE elicits how a customer feels, responds, and maybe reviews on platforms that have a big influence on diners, shoppers etc. The owner called me out on my review saying I was threatening yelling, and scaring the employees. I am 70 and injured with a smashed shoulder, four broken ribs and a brain bleed. The last time I yelled at any employee was probably 1980. And I am harmless - never did that. The owner is a FIRE STARTER and would do better with people if she was an Amazon Warehouse worker and not a front facing small business owner. This is a bad ending and the fire will burn because she is a fire starter. BAD ENDING FOR HER and the fire is going to burn.

I inquired about a couple of particular books and was led, instead of being told (which I think is more professional!) straight to the exact location. The store is amply filled with thousands of books, all very beautifully presented, cabinets have dedicated under lighting and a cafe and restroom upstairs across from a generous children's section. This is a 2 story B&N and I was able to find all the books I was looking for and then some! I deducted one star because their escalators were not working and they only had one set of escalators you could walk up and down on. This made for some traffic. My other reason is for closing at 7pm on a Sunday. I know thats already one hour extra than the mall, but come on here, youre a bookstore, you could at least keep it open until 8pm?! I guess I am used to big city hours so that was kind of annoying. Otherwise, a really great B&N! They have an upstairs coffee shop and tons of people parked in here, reading, working, etc. Bathrooms also available, not as clean as the rest of Phoenix public bathrooms, but it wasnt gross like big city public bathrooms.
