Our front door deadbolt wouldn't unlock and every other access was internally mechanically locked. Called OC Locksmith. After a few questions, Ori said he would be here in 20 minutes and he was. After reviewing the situation he spent the better part of an hour using various methods to open the front door all in an effort to avoid having to drill the lock that would result in a very expensive new door lock set. Failing this he tried other accesses and discovered a small security flaw in one of our doors that after various attempts allowed him access to our house. He quickly determined the deadbolt lock had broken; replaced it and the latch mechanism; put everything back to normal; gave me suggestions on fixing the flaw; and asked for a vacuum to clean up the floor. He knew exactly what type of locks they were and over the phone determined, as I had already suspected, that the doors were mis-aligned. Ori provides top notch locksmith services plus he is a great guy. I will summarize my experience and include pictures for you to really grasp how legit this dude is. My key fob fell to the ground and came apart. I got to keep the part of the fob with the lock/unlock/alarm/open trunk buttons...for my bad luck, the part of the fob with the razor key fell through some type of sewer on the ground (I KNOW) and I was left with no key to ignite my car as that was my only key (I KNOW)... In short, I needed a key made without an original copy to use as sample....If you are not familiar with this type of situation - It is a very bad situation. Not just because it can be very expensive but also because not many locksmiths have the skill/technology to cut a new key without an existing one to model it after. Sometimes the car even needs to be towed to their location...Enters Ori... Ori came to the location where my car was parked and he solved the issue as follows: - Used some type of key modeling tool to copy the key's measurements by inserting it into the door knob and somehow recording the key's measures. - Used a special machine to have a new key cut based on the measurements he recorded in the previous step. - He used a special software to download whatever is needed to program the new keys. - After about 1 hour, I had 2 new keys for my car.
