The price has gone up and the quality has gone down. I take my order home so I don't realize it until I go to eat it. I've pointed out that the Calamari is over cooked and rubbery plenty of times. But the last time I purchased the Calamari Hibachi it was again rubbery and half as much, They even lined the dish with rice and then put half as much Calamari and vegetables on top making it to look like there's plenty. I checked out the Beehive station. It seems like great addition to the Salem dining scene. I was curious about Osaka Hibachi in particular, so I ordered the Chicken Hibachi to go. It included generous portions of chicken in a kind of teriyaki sauce, fried rice and veggies. And a small cup of "yum sauce." The service was friendly. Once I got home, I eagerly drove in. The chicken was tasty, with a lovely grilled taste and a nice sauce. It seemed a tad overcooked, but the flavor made up for that. The fried rice was amazing. Simple, but very rich and flavorful. And the veggies were delicious. As someone who would like to eat more vegetables, establishments like this that offer quick, tasty, and healthy meals are great discoveries! The yum sauce was incredible! I've not encountered anything quite like it, but I quickly fell in love. It was creamy, perhaps mayo-based, with a wonderful rich and slightly sweet tasty. Surprisingly complex and it went well drizzled on each component of the meal. The meal cost 10 dollars plus tip, and I was able to get two meals out of it.
